I chose Dr. Armstrong for my surgery because of his flawless reputation, the great medical universities and institutions where he studied, and his friendly and open personality (which allowed me to ask anything I wanted without being rushed).

Having gone through the surgery about 3 weeks ago, I am happy to say that I was right with my choice.

I have experienced no pain during the entire pre-op, hospital stay and post-op period, and I have already lost 13kgs with no hunger and no discomfort.

Dr. Armstrong visited me at the hospital every day, listened to all of my worries, and answered all questions, etc. While a few things caused me to worry at the hospital (such as drop in my pulse rate and blood pressure relative to what it was before surgery), he re-assured me that everything was OK, and he was right.

One day after leaving the hospital I began feeling quite OK, 8 days after leaving the hospital I began driving again, 17 days after surgery I began going to the gym, etc.

I am very happy with the surgeon choice I made and with the results to date. Thank you Dr. Armstrong.

I chose Jon due to his remarkable reputation and I’m so glad I did. He’s the best!
I had been thinking about the gastric sleeve for a fair few years now but never knew where to start and was so scared, I didn’t tell anyone I just made this decision by myself.
I had my first consultation with Jon and felt so comfortable with choosing him to do my operation. He listened to any questions I had and the app helped me so much with the lead up to the surgery. I felt so educated on what was to come and prepared for life post surgery.
Nothing is ever too much for Jon and his team. I always feel so welcomed when I go in for appointments. From the receptionist, dieticians and Jon, everyone is just so lovely.
The day of surgery I was so anxious, I was by myself and quietly freaking out. Jon put my mind and ease and came and spoke to me before the surgery, I felt so much better.
Both of my days in hospital I was visited by Jon and he answered any silly questions I had. The care he has for his patients is outstanding. I have had 0 complications and am so surprised how fast I have bounced back.
It’s been a week now since my surgery and I’m feeling so much better everyday and I am so excited to embrace this new lifestyle.
I am really excited to work with the dieticians and to create new habits.

So happy to have made the jump! I'm only two weeks post surgery but Dr Armstrong and the team have made it so easy and I feel very supported. Couldn't recommend him highly enough. If you wait two months I'll post some photos!

Jon was welcoming, honest and positive. His team was great too! I felt like the process was so easy and I’m only a week post op. I no longer crave the food I once did and I am so excited for the future will up date when I’m 6 months in with photos.

Mr Armstrong is kind, compassionate and caring and has his patients health and lifestyle as his top priorities. He is clear with his delivery of diagnosis and post op discussions and answers all questions thoroughly without rushing you out of his office to move onto the next patient. The whole team are so friendly and I can't recommend Mr Armstrong enough for barbaric surgery. I would not feel comfortable with my care in the hands of any other surgeon.

I found all staff from the receptionists, Mr Armstrong and the dieticians I spoke with to be very kind; good listeners; and patient with my questions

I’ve never felt more heard and understood, the lead up consultation were judgement free and informative, the surgery itself was perfect and the after care was warm and easy to navigate, he and his whole team made this effortless and took my fears away, not only was Jon wonderful but the dietitian he paired up with and the admin staff who made a could be stressful paperwork situation easy and actually exciting. If you’re thinking maybe you should look into surgery Then go see dr Jon and have all your worries put to rest.
