Mount Magnet Caravan Park reviews
35 Very friendly staff. Was allowed to have our dog in our cabin out of the heat.
Air conditioning was on very tidy and great value. Asset to the town
Located on main street. Nice rooms for remote town. Tea and coffee, plus nice camp kitchen of want to cater for self. Would stay again.
We booked into this place for 3 nights in our caravan. It is right on the highway. There were no security gates, but there were high fences and barbed wire on top of some of the fences, a dust bowl.dirt sites, and so noisy with traffic.road trains, and roadworks. We left after 1 night with no sleep.
A great and cheap caravan park (mid-2023 Single Adult unpowered tent = $12.40). Well designed (although a free-for-all in the grassed unpowered section), well maintained, great facilities. Is let down by the few anti-socials living there with large constantly noisy dogs that aren't being told to leave, and the stored caravan left blocking a large area of the unpowered area.
On our way from Perth to Karijini National Park, August 2022, this was a good stop. We called late at night and checked in late. Very accommodating. We quickly hooked up and took off early the next morning. Good spot to stop over in.
Found that one female cleaner was not very nice to clients. I was given a spray from her and I will not go back there or recommend it to anyone.
Just staying here for the night on our way to Perth. Very nice park, great Park Manager Dave, went over and above to make our stay feel welcome and accomadating. Will definitely stay here again, well done Dave, thank you.
Was staying over to catch next morning bus to Perth.
Kate (hope it's not mispronounced/misspelled) was so helpful with late booking. Room was simple and clean, so as shared bathroom area.
Been going to this caravan park for 4+ years now and always get excellent service. Bill is a top bloke who doesn't mind going out of his way for you. Basic amenities but always clean and tidy. Highly recommend
Great service nice touch having the air-conditioning turned on in the room before arrival.comfortable bed room and ensuite was spotless very friendly staff. Highly recommend a stay.
What a wonderful park, beautiful clean ammenities, big sites, and the best manager of a park I have met so far. Thanks Dave your the best
Would I come back I sure would
A little noisy with all the trucks passing, but easily accessible, roomy and the amenities are sparkling clean. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Great little caravan park, spotless ablution block. Good for a couple of days to have good look around
Tried to book for in three days before, when arrived was told to busy to answer phone, I think just to lazy to get of there bum will not stop ever again
Good size caravan park in Mt Magnet with good facilities.
Time and Cost: No apparent time limit, $12 per night unpowered.
Access: Direct access from Great Northern Highway in town.
Facilities: Large with grass/dirt base parking areas and limited shade. Facilities include flushing toilets and showers, camp kitchen, laundry, potable water, dump point and bins. Average Telstra but no Optus reception and variable TV reception
Ambiance: A little noisy on the highway. Gets busy so booking ahead recommended.
Suited as multi-night stay for all vehicles with fuel, water and supplies available in Mt Magnet.
Very disappointed in current management, have tried to book a site for a few days now, left messages and no call back. Oh well, we will free camp down the road, their loss.
Friendly and helpful managers and a good park. Very busy and lots of road train traffic through the night.
Modest and functional. Bit noisy as right on Gt Northern Hwy but ear plugs sort out. Cheers from Sword ses.
The caravan park itself was basic with clean amenities. No camp kitchen other than a couple of outdoor BBQ. Will not stay there again as some locals back behind the recreation park opposite partied on with loud music and yelling until nearly 3am making sleep impossible.
