Great service provided by Yuka. She was very attentive, always with a present smile and happy to help you. Food is also great but please reduce the quantity of masala you add for the biriyani. It's a bit too much for a biriyani. But I had your Madras beef curry last time it was very good. The only downfall is the middle aged lady who answers the phone is too loud when she speaks. Love the place, very authentic Indian food.

For starters we had the mixed platter entree for two, garlic nann, saffron rice, lamb vindaloo and tandoori chicken, mango lassi. Unbelievable food, lovely family ran business, we will definitely be back. First vindaloo we’ve had in Perth where the heat was challenging but the vast pop of spices made it moorish. We had a fabulous experience. 11 of us in a private room.
We had the banquet. None of us could fault it.
They warned us about the heat in the vindaloo. 80% of us loved it. The other 20% ordered more raita & water but enjoyed it all.
We created our own atmosphere.
You definately go there for the amazing AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD.

Based on our experience at the restaurant in July 2023, group booking with a car club: Excellent curries. The food was amazing and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I’d 100% go back for takeout if I lived closer. Dining in again would be a no from me. The decor is old and ratty. The chairs are worn and stained. Very cramped for group dining. My shoes stuck to the worn out carpet as I trod through years of gluey oil and messy spills. I’ve no doubt the health department would have a field day in the dining area. From where we sat, we could see part of the kitchen which appeared to be clean. Staff worked hard inside cleaning dishes and clearing away. A makeover would do wonders for this homely restaurant because Mother’s food was fabulous.

By far the best Indian food in Perth! Our favourite dishes are the goat curry, goan fish, palek paneer, cauliflower rice and paratha. All dishes are superb with complex, delicious flavours and it is BYO too. Alex & Debbie

We ordered the takeaway value pack for 2. OMG. The butter chicken and madras potatoes were out of this world. Garlic naan delicious. The delivery service is professional and kind.

Wish they have extended open hours.

Hands down the best Indian in perth! And you can tell by how busy it is. Open for only very set and small hours.they know their business! Tasty, real authentic flavours.

It used to be great food and great value. We got take away for a family of 4. Containers are extremely shallow - with about 2-3 pieces of meat - if lucky! Food is okay but you don't get your money's worth. Lucky our family wasn't hungry and I had samosas/bhaji from the local Indian grocery store to supplement. What a rip off! Will not be a return customer nor recommend to anyone.

Mother India is a quaint out of the way restaurant that is small, cosy and pleasant. The food is outstanding. The prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The chef uses only fresh ingredients. It is a BYO establishment and I suggest you bring your wine glasses along with your wine. This place is highly recommended for amazing Indian cuisine.

I have been here a lot in the past and it has always been delicious. The other say we went and ordered palak paneer which was ok, nothing excellent, not creamy just the spinach mixed with the cheese. They were open just 3 nights a week so they make the most money with take always, from 6.30 till 8.45 was a non- stop of people picking up take always. I think now they are doing quantity over quality… that’s very sad …

Amazing Indian food. To date the best I have eaten in WA, by a long way. The flavours, spices and quality of the food is amazing. Service is also very good. Clearly a lot of people agree because their takeaway service was also very busy.

The food here is amazing! Awesome customer service too! I came by on my walk, just as they were closing and the lady working there was so kind and let me buy some yummy food to take home even though they were packing up. The price was fantastic and there are so many options for different dietary requirements (I'm vegan so I'm always looking for places that have amazing vegan food). The restaurant looks nice and clean inside- I haven't eaten there (only had take away) and there's a lovely park right next to the restaurant to eat your food at too.

Best curry in WA, and the staff and owners are all absolutely lovely. Really excellent place, worth the journey down from Perth 100%

Great food can get noisy so takeaways work best. Good value and friendly family owned & run.
