Moonlight Bay Suites

I booked a room here recently and my trip plans changed so within 24 hours of booking my trip I emailed straight back to cancel. I was charged $250 for my booking even though I canceled within 24 hours and their excuse was they need a 72 hour cancellation period. Be careful of these loop holes they use on people just to make a bit of cash. Pathetic place to stay also.

Just visit and you will understand why they get 5 stars. Cannot fault anything and the have Matsos directly across the road for all your food and drink requirements.

Warm welcome. The apartments are spacious. It has a nice pool. The area is very well maintained.

Our Group of 8 each with own rooms were very impressed with our stay and rooms. Spacious, kitchen equipped with hotplates, standard full size fridge, mwave ect.
Superb location is next door to Mangroves Hotel (great for Stairway to the Stars experience) and Matsos Brewery across road. 14 min walk to Chinatown and 11 min walk to town beach markets
Only downside may need to carry luggage up a flight of stairs if not on ground level.

Just spent 2 nights here in a 1 bedroom apartment.
It was nice and had its own kitchen, dining table and lounge area with flat screen tv.
Kitchen had a stove, microwave and full size fridge…this apartment would be perfect for a couple or young family as the lounge was actually a fold out bed.
Pool area is very large and plenty of grassed areas overlooking Roebuck Bay, there is a bbq area here too.
The wifi was surprisingly very good too.
I also liked there was a room safe in the room too.
Sleep quality is pretty good although Mateos across the road does have live music on a Tuesday nite.
Moonlight Bay is within walking distance to Broome town and along the bus routes too.
This would be a perfect place to spend 3/4 nites to explore more of Broome.

Our room was superb. We were on a corner apartment on the top floor, the place was clean, fully furnished, big. Amazing facilities. Couldn't fault it at all. Unfortunately our spa bath was broken so that was a bit disappointing. There is the restaurant across the road, we didn't go though as it was quite expensive and the menu wasn't to our liking. Just a short walk to Chinatown where there are shops, cafe's and things.

Apartment had cooking facilities clean tidy. I was lucky enough to stay on second floor overlooking the pool and the bay.

Amazing views from our apartment overlooking Roebuck Bay and the pool area. Rooms a bit dated and needed repairs to cupboards and blinds but a minor inconvenience. Close to bus that is easy to use to get to Cable beach. Excellent accommodation.

Good place to spend some of holiday time here. Deco is good, view is great and there's a swimming pool and a small gym. Very nice!

Great place to stay in Broome. Right near Matso's and walk to town beach. 15 minute walk to Chinatown or catch the bus with a stop just across the road. $15 cab ride from the airport with Chinatown Cabs. Staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms large and comfy. Great pool and bbq area too.
Full kitchen in the room saves you money if you don't want to eat out all the time.
All tours picked us up from the front door.
Great view from our room. Worth paying the bit extra for bayview room.

Fantastic had the best view overlooking the ocean.
Very clean nothing was any trouble for the staff would totally recommend.

Fantastic place overlooking the bay, apartment was great, self contained, you could quite easily stay for a week while exploring what Broome has to offer.
Matso Brew House across the road as well as a couple of art galleries.
China Town a short drive away.
Highly recommended.

Clean, excellent value, with all the things you need. All the basics and ticks boxes for an easy more affordable stay in Broome. Central location to everything.
Cons. Bedding v firm but certainly all clean etc.

August 2022 was our 2nd stay at Moonlight Bay and they accommodated our earlier request to get the same room.
The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. A great view from our front door and refreshing pool below.
The voucher for a share plate and drinks at Matso's was appreciated.
Staff were friendly and helpful, whenever you passed them by and check-in and out was seamless.
A great location and close to everything. Even the tour buses stop at the front door

Very spacious accommodation. King bed was very comfortable. Peaceful place. Wonderful views across Roebuck Bay. Perfect for bird watchers. Many birds in out of the Mangroves. Walking distance to Chinatown and Town Beach for Staircase to the Moon. Huge pool too.

Get a room with a balcony. There is a lovely pool but make sure you take bug spray when at the pool.
