Momo Dessert Cafe reviews
16 Just a heads up to those that wanted to eat the main course not the dessert. COME BEFORE 2: 30PM. They have put it as “Lunch menu” from 11: 30 to 2: 30PM. After that time only dessert are being served.
To the owner, please notify on the Gmap about this information! Or else you will have a disappointed customer!
I have found a note on their entrance door about their timing system that I will share for everyone’s awareness.
The croffle and honey toast were delicious and filling. The biscoff cheeesecake is also recommended! Service is friendly and reasonably quick.
Me and my wife have tried their different udons. Would definitely come back again and again for more. It is very tasty and delicious. The Sandos aswell. Makes my mouth water and craves for more. 5 out of 5 rating.
Came for lunch. Had to wait awhile before we got seated. Sandwich was alright. Nothing special. Both pasta were very creamy. Generous with the portion. Good to share with friends. Can get sick of the taste tho. The aburi salmon rice bowl was the best. Rice was flavourful and every bite was delicious. Would return for the rice bowl only.
Also had matcha and black sesame lattes; was good as well.
Did not tried any desserts.
The loyalty card becomes a trap.
After I spent almost $200 in the restaurant today, I can only receive 5 stamps while the card says one stamp every $10 spend.
Came here for the Desert Menu, was not disappointed. Staff were very friendly, bit confused about food being brought out to you but you need to get your own cutlery? Otherwise, food was fantastic.
A halal dessert place! I never used to really order cakes but this Biscoff cheesecake was everything! I ordered it with a side of vanilla icecream and it was the best cheesecake I've had in a long time! It was decadent, smooth, not overly sweet and absolutely delicious! As a drink I got an iced strawberry matcha. Now I'm not usually a matcha person but I'll definitely be getting this every single time. It's so refreshing and pairs perfectly with the cake. Definitely want to try their lunch menu next time!
Really good cafe joint! The desserts are really tasty and I the lunch food was awesome too! I tried the Japanese Sandos and they were good size and tasty. The chicken katsu bowl was definitely a sleeper too, I've been ordering that a lot as of late.
Keep up the good work team.
Lots of parking available. Easy to access. Good spacious seating. Friendly staff and quick service. Two of us went on a Saturday, just before 12pm and got a seat immediately. We ordered a mushroom udon, a miso beef rice bowl, and matcha strawberry cake.
The savoury food looked fantastic and had a home cooked taste - edible but not robust or complex. Very accessible taste that would please the average hungry person. Portion sizes were just right but we're not big eaters.
The matcha cake had a good balance between bitter, sweet, and fruity. The cream was fantastic, but the cake was dry.
Decent value but don't expect mind-blowing stuff.
We came here for lunch to try out the food and we left pleased.
The steak sandwich was nice but the pasta truffle mushroom noodles was absolutely fantastic!
Fast and friendly service. Their Bingsu is refreshing with the right sweetness. So far we have tried peach and strawberry and they are both very good!
The first croffle experience- I loved it! Crispy skin and dense dough. Picture doesn’t do it justice…
Fusion food. Great taste. They prepare great premium tasting food with price to match. We had the Truffle Mushroom, which is Udon in white sauce sprinkled with fine truffles. We also had the Chicken Katsu Sandwich.which tasted Supreme. Feels a bit like Korean toast. Give it a try!
Really curious about this new place I saw from Instagram. We had the Roe, Chicken Katsu Sando, Matcha Frappe and Orange Juice. It was so tasty and would recommend this to everyone to try if you are around the area.
Our first time trying the place. We just want to have some lunch instead of dessert. We ordered the roe and chicken katsu sando. Both of them actually really nice. Im impressed. The roe is just the right amount of cheese and tastiness. The fish roe is a proper big ones. The chicken sandwich is tasty and crunchy. What a pleasant lunch. For drinks we ordered matcha frappe and fresh orange juice. We enjoyed both of them too! Another place on our list to re visit. Give it a try. You'll be surprised. Price is on the pricier side but you pay what you get. Overall highly recommended.
We revisit and ordered the milo shaved ice and also wagyu bulgogi rice. Also ordered the strawberry ade for drinks. Everything is awesome here. Go and give it a try
Really interesting concept! The mix between Japanese cuisine and a dessert cafe is a bit of a fad but these guys do ok.
Food wise is certainly better than some other cafes who have tried the same thing. The sandos in particular are very good value for money (even though they do use normal sandwich bread). The set meals are big and more than enough for a person. Flavour wise nothing outstanding but good enough if you like this kind of food. The dessert we had was alright, again nothing special but certainly not bad.
The place is at the old toritori/2020 street eats and I suspect is the same owner as silver sushi. Good parking since it’s a shopping centre and the restaurant itself has potential to seat a party of maybe 6/8 max? But usually there are quite a few people here so might struggle. Waitstaff are lovely, and very helpful (on the day we came at least).
If you like Japanese cafe food then this is a good alternative to brown spoon around the corner, give it a go!
