Miss Me Cafe reviews
45I have never had a bad experience here or a bad coffee. Rosie makes the best coffees that taste like hot chocolate without it tasting like hot chocolate! The food is delicious and the chips are the most crunchy I’ve ever had! I meant to review this place ages ago but kept forgetting but this place will forever be my forever place! Such good customer service and always love a good chat with Rosie whenever I come in. Keep doing what your doing guys! And see you soon!:)
Lovely service, hot strong coffee and situated in a nice location but quite possibly the worst pancakes I've ever had.
A couple of tiptop premade pancakes popped in the microwave, add a tiny amount of watered down maple syrup and place some apple and orange on top. Awful.
How have I not reviewed this yet! One of our fave breakfast/brunch haunts, especially when you can get sides of popcorn karaage chicken with breakfast. Lovely staff, comfy seating, and a spectacular view. The food is always beautiful, and the omelette is one of my favourite breakfast items, but it's all great.: D
The food was perfect and I asked for an unusual coffee and they were happy to make it. All enjoyed overlooking the lake. Wish there were more stars to give them.
Always a good spot, the salmon eggs Benedict was perfect (usually other places have the toast too crusty, this was slightly less so easier to cut).
Absolutely amazing, tasty and fresh food. We went for breakfast and was greeted by gorgeous friendly staff who made the visit so nice. Food was just so fresh and the lemon iced tea is home made and so delicious! Would definitely recommend?
Amazing cafe, best chicken and waffles ive ever had! Pet friendly and such a sweet server thank you so much
Absolutely loved this little gem of a place! Came down with my family for breakfast and coffee and it didn't disappoint. All the food we ordered are really delicious. The coffee was great as well! Will be back!
My absolute go to for my regular cafe. Staff are brilliant and so personable. And they even treat my pooch with the utmost care. Love this place and cannot recommend highly enough
I just ordered a brekkie wrap bacon and a apple juice on uber eats from this cafe. The cafe advertised "crispy bacon" in the wrap. The wrap was soggy and bacon almost looked raw it was that soft and I didnt even receive the apple juice at all. Payed $32 for nothing but dissapointment couldnt even eat it and missing items. First and last time for me ordering here.
It was absolutely beautiful, fast fresh food, lovely customer service over all really enjoyed it
Nice place for a brunch, good vibe. But cleaning supplies (e.g. Mop) were put right next to our table which made it a bit less enjoyable. But otherwise it was all good.
Love the smashed avo here. Perfect poached eggs delicious coffee and such a pretty setting watching the fountain in the lake.
Very nice & value for money Breakfasts which set you up for the day staff are friendly too, this was our first visit there yesterday and will definitely be going back
Nice Cafe sat outside, daughter had a orange, banana and mango smoothie and a sweet potato rosti with bacon, spinach and poached egg, I had pancakes with ice cream and maple bacon!
If the phrase 'coffee is life' resonates for you then this is the place to be. The ladies brew a quick, delicious drop! They don't muck about here, delicious food, tasty drinks, friendly service, funky decor and one of the best vistas overlooking the Aveley lake. If you don't have a big appetite they'll do a half portion as well. Overall my brunch guest and I were very impressed and our quick stop easily turned into an hour and a half & it has since become a fond favourite location.
Comfortable setting, nice view of the lake, nice food, good portions, good coffee and friendly staff
Have been here twice and both occasions left underwhelmed. Coffee was scalding hot i couldn't hold the glass to drink it for at least 30mins.
Ordered the sweet potato rosti which came out soggy, the dish was swimming in oil, and the rocket had been replaced with spinach.
Service is terrible, not friendly at all.
Wow, what a great place to be for breakfast. The chocolate milkshake is old-school and delicious, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Highly recommend the pulled pork eggs Benedict, it was filled with flavour. The croissants are also really good, light and buttery. A huge plus is the view right out across the lake, which is right next to the cafe
