Miss Maud West Perth

I’ve been avoiding Miss Maude places, because so many places like these are a disappointment. I’m used to having the cakes taste like a fridge and are usually stale, and the coffees aren’t good, but I was pleasantly surprise when I visited the West Perth store. The customer service was good and the Blackforest cake was actually nice and soft and did not taste like the fridge. Bonus was that the coffee was actually pretty darn tasty.

Very disappointed with the soup I ordered. I ordered a regular pumpkin soup which cost $7.30. Firstly, I think they forgot the pumpkin because it just tasted like spices and chicken stock. Secondly, for $7.30 it didn’t even fill me up. Very disappointing.

Had morning tea here. Hot chocolate and lattes where nice. Cinnamon bun and black forest cake also yum. Staff friendly. Didn't need to wait long for the food and drink.

Had my brunch here at Miss Maud West Perth. Was greeted with love & care by i think a filipina lady. Food was nice and service was great.

I love they have vegan lunch options - quite hard to find anything in West Perth. Their plantbased sandwhich options are not bland or boring - very different and they have a variety of yummy plantbased desserts. Would love to see more options to make a meal vegan on their lunch dine-in menu.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch today at Miss Maud's.simple & truly delicious. & very friendly manager.we'll certainly return! !

I feel miss maudes is "loosing that loving feeling". They do have some awesome staff but other times not so nice.
Often my cuppachino tastrs like a flat white too.

Simple, cozy, warm and fuzzy. Love the decor and friendly service. Staff was delightful and sincere. Food was exquisite and well presented. Will be back for a cuppa and a cake and the lovely service. Champagne service.

Its with a heavy heart i give them 2 stars.
I had ordered the Dutch Apple Slice which is around $4.70ish and decided i would dine in.
The girl at the counter said it would cost me around $6, when i asked why i was told its always more expensive to dine in.
However there is no sign that indicates this.

This is a joint i frequent most mornings and having just learnt this with no signs or notices affirming this i really feel abit ripped off.

I enjoyed the delicious warm spinach roll / pastry with soy flat white. However I found the cashier (probably in her 40s or 50s) unfriendly and cold. I had walked into the shop in the morning and she was busy talking to a waitress with her back facing me. No welcome or smile. After I made the payment she said go and get your table - in an unfriendly tone and manner. Service needs improvement

The best coffee ever. I’m quite serious about my coffee’s quality and this one was perfect. Also, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Thanks guys

Very very average.
I got nachos and they were very bland. Seems like only old people ate there.
Will not be coming back, $20 for the worst nachos i’ve ever had no thank you.

Just had the most delicious GF vegan chocolate slice (a rich chocolate cake with chocolate frosting not too sweet and just how I like it) tasted fantastic.
Would love to see similar safe and delicious varieties in their wraps and hotfoods range.even if they do have to make to order.
Will definitely be back when next passing by now I know they have these!
PS slice was twice the size pictured by was too delicious to not eat straight away!

Hot chocolate.so special, elmo maccaron taste chewy and Creamy.pineapple cheese cake is fantastic.

Bought an ice coffee yesterday at miss Maud west perth $5.50 and not worth even after telling the cashier i want week coffee not strong unfortunately had the same taste twice was so strong. This is my second bad experience i will not buy from you now.

I've worked in West Perth for over 10 years and I don't understand why they are still in business! Terrible coffee, even worse customer service. Failure to make a simple bacon and egg sandwich. Every time I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt I am sorely disappointed! A convenient location is all they have going for them. Pull up your socks!

Staff were great and very helpful. I have had catering or the office from here and it was really good. The shop was nice a cool I had a great salad and coffee

Good service but the chicken parmigiana was microwaved, the chips were soft and the coffee was eh.

Really needs more staff - came in around 1030 on a Saturday morning (one would imagine this is peak hour for most places at the weekend) but only two staff working. Most tables empty but still waiting to be cleared from previous customers.

Front of house staff were courteous but that's where it ended. Food was terrible, the meat on my nachos was pre cooked some time ago and had failed miserably at being reheated in the microwave while melting the cheese on the average "generous"portion of corn chips. The milkshake "with 2 scoops of ice cream " must of been defrosted and scooped out at room temperature because at no time would I have called it a cool drink. Even then the top third was just canned whipped cream so not really refreshing. The misses Caesar salad looked like it was slapped together by a 3year old. When you serve wedged up tomatoes you could at least cut off the green bits and the stalk. Don't get me started on my daughters kids meal. Never going there again.
