Wonderful service and with delicious presented food giving overall satisfaction to customer experience
Unfortunately this place has hone down since it was sold. There is one waitress that stands out she is delightful and has been there a while. Nothing is too much trouble for this lady. You will know her if you see her, in many ways she is the highlight of this place. There is a reduced selection at the lunch buffet. Individual cakes on the high tea stamd have been replaced with pastries only. No more delicious date cakes and the like. They are presently renovating the facade so be prepared for the odd tradesperson peering through the window. Overall passable but not the treat it used to be. The place is mostly empty now. Not sure where the man with the piano accordian has gone.loss of an icon. Tiger prawns down to one plate from a giant platter. Savoury biscuits wrere stale but promptly replaced when reported to nice waitress. I accept they were air softened as very thin wafers probably fresh a couple of hours prior. Disabled parking in car park accross the road is excellent. They no longer ask what the occasion is and offer a helium balloon. Its those small touches guys. The customers do notice. Its a nice day out but not the same as it once was.
1st time here we really enjoyed the buffet lots of selection good quality food would definitely eat here again
I had breakfast during a Christmas time, and it was great. 25 $ per person and welcoming environment. I will go again
Wasn't feeling very well, so while my husband went for the Smorgasbord, I just wanted something plain, like an egg on toast. When I asked, I was told only items on the menu were available. Very disappointed. I thought with chefs there, a boiled egg would not have been too taxing for them. Saying that, my husband enjoyed his meal.
Had dinner here recently. The roasted beef, ham were tender and savoury. The fresh oysters and prawns could have been bigger. The yabbies and herring fish were too salty for my liking. Need to have other styles.of cooking for the fish! Baked or steamed fish would be great. The assorted cakes were tasty, particularly the chocolate brownie and red velvet. Fruit juices were not included. This is a negative.
My experience each time I visit is always memorable. I'm welcomed like a family member and I find nothing is too difficult for the staff, they are there to take care of me and they do. The restaurant is a homely setting. I relax amongst the patrons enjoy the choice at the buffet which is delectable. I don't stay long enough to hear the musicians. I am a regular at this restaurant.
Staff are professional very well prepared for the evening. That is why I give them 5 star rating. Exceptions staff and food.
Came here to pick up my catering. The pastries which we bought we're hot and nice. Slightly on the pricey side, but the quality doesn't disappoint.
Absolutely satisfied. I've visited the breakfast buffet twice. It's a very comprehensive spread, that includes pancakes, French toast and waffles.
The brewed coffee is piping hot and very good!
What a lovely time we had at Miss Maud Restaurant Perth yesterday. Everything was so fresh and tasty with so much to choose from. We have been going to Miss Maud Restaurant since 1976 and yesterday for an early Christmas lunch. Thank you Miss Maud. Patricia
I have memories of five star experiences here but sadly, this time, did not live up to expectations. Agonised over this review, but just have to call it. Something has changed (in the food area) and this place has lost its mojo. Please get it back.
Miss Mauds is always so up to expectations. Over several years of visits I've always had great service. The overall quality of food is unquestionable. Looking forward to next visit.
The food was delicious and fresh. The staff were very helpful. There was 20 of us and the food kept on coming. Will go again.
Went her with my mom and partner. The Eggs texas with hollandaise sauce was great, however not all food was five stars. They did make a avocado mash for our baby which was appreciated. 4 stars
Firstly: any individual over the age of 10 yrs that uses the word "yummy" in a written review, deserves to be drowned in a warm bucket of milk!
I can recommend the breakfast buffet here - for $27, it covers all the bases. Fresh, excellent drip coffee, (which in itself is a rarity these days with espresso/latte etc) juices and all the breakfast items you can expect. The pancakes and fresh whipped cream were also a nice addition.
The decor is a bit dated, but that didn't interfere with enjoying the food. To correct another reviewer, breakfast starts at 6: 45am. I don't know where he got the 8: 30am from? The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Worth a visit.
Disappointing! Small selection of food.
Almost everything has an overload of salt.
Soup, garlic bread, potatoes even yabbies and prawns seem to have been given a salt bath.
Yabbies so tiny and we did not bother with it, so are the prawns. Oysters are decent.
Salads quite poorly dresssed. Drenched in mayonaise.
Desert / cakes selection is decent.
At $55 for dinner you are better off paying $59 for lunch buffet at Epicurean.
Staff service is great. Will not be going back.
I love it here, they have a great menu and I haven't been disappointed by anything here yet. I love ordering the Chicken Pie that's on the lunch/dinner menu, it's so good.
Nice atmosphere. Excellent service and the family enjoyed the buffet. Parking is easy and parking building just across street
It's always been a fantastic place to visit when you want to celebrate that special occasion. Food is always fresh and plentiful, with something for everyone even the fussy eater. The Staff are always welcoming and attentive. An experience not to be missed.
