Miss Maud Mandurah reviews
38Ordered their mango smoothie and assorted cake slices. Their really taste good! I will try them again. The staff are friendly! The place is not busy when we get there.
My experience today was regarding the manager on duty she was rude & unprofessional towards her co-staff. I was asking for a larger table so my mom who had ordered a takeaway chai from miss maud could sit with us who were dining, apparently this isn’t possible as they are different prices so we were split up. She then yelled at her co-worker for getting the order wrong which as a manager for a restaurant myself i find is unacceptable and unprofessional. She justified it as the Irish in her but regardless you never yell at your staff in-front of customers.sometimes people prefer their drinks in a takeaway cup its a preference, which should not impact whether one can sit at a table or not. Other miss mauds have been fine with this in all my other visits so this has left a sour taste in my mouth.
2 xToasted sandwiches and 2 coffees 40 bucks. Toasted sandwich had no butter at all our coffee came 30 minutes after our food. No apologies just a takeaway cup to put my long awaited coffee in. So disappointed we used to l9ve the food here. Go somewhere else
Third day in a row tried to buy sandwiches little or no stock available
No staff to serve its almost impossible to get take out service will never go back.
The food here has certainly gone downhill over the last 6 months or so. Overpriced and much smaller portions. Salad was ordinary and was double the size of the main (veg lasagne), which was badly microwaved.
Couldn't tell you what the foods like because the staff were serving people at the end of the line instead of me. Took 3 people pushing in for me to say something and take my money elsewhere.
Arrived for lunch and ordered a chicken parmigiana. I sat at table 4 and was surrounded by filthy tables unattended to the whole time I was there. I ate my lunch around dirty tables for 40min. The food.the worst version of a parmigiana I've ever had. It was a tiny piece of chicken, microwaved and was like cutting into a steak. The salad had no dressing. Plain salad. Huge disappointment given I have always enjoyed Miss Mauds.
Couldn't wait always to go for breakfast, not anymore getting very dissapointed had breakfast yesterday morning the eggs white was running lots of water in it, suppose to be poached eggs. Beacon was overdone. Just going down hill. Coffee was different tasted burned
I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and half way through the meal came across a strand of hair. I called the waitress over to let her know and her comment was "so you don't want it anymore? " Not even an apology or offer to refund me. Not a great experience for a place I've always enjoyed going to.
My wife got here meal and the beacon was still frozen. Then we asked for a refund which they didn't even know how to do. We come here most weeks and is very disappointing to get food like this
Staff so busy but cater great to satisfy customers, premises tidy food coffee tops recommend specials coffee cake before 11am
Excellent service from very friendly staff, even the young lady busy making coffee, looked up with a very cherry "good morning".
Beautiful hot, crispy chips and always a favourite; vanilla slice, yummy.
Served with delicious hot coffee with a smile. Good work everyone.
Busy cafe in the middle of the Forum. Heaps of seating available but beware if you have a trolley you won't be able to go inside but have to use the outside seating.
Pricing of the menu is quite cheap compared to other cafes around.
Went for tea and cake at Mauds at 2pm on Friday was told we close in 40 mins which in itself is rediculous, but all the time we sat eating our cake we had them cleaning around us, such an uncomfortable situation to be in, wiping tables sweeping up. We finished quickly and left, It was rediculous. I am surprised the shopping centre allows them to close at this time.
Unbelievable; atrocious service. Staff argued right in front of me over who was going to take my order because nobody wanted to. When I finally ordered they just pointed to the eftpos machine and said “pay there. ” and then shoved a table number at me. When food came out the plates were filthy; they had remnants of slices that were obviously served before I came in (I didn’t order any sweets) and when I said something I was given “yeah, well”. 100% will never go back there the old bags could not care less about their quality or service or customers’ health.
Went for the first time today and food was average however was more about the service received. Girl who served us with dark hair demanded rather then asking to see me vaccination card. Was 100% fine showing but it was the way she spoke. Then started screaming at a colleague to check my husbands vac card as he was sitting down. “ check his vac card, check his vac card “ when I asked who she was yelling at her response was not you. Won’t be going back!
Couldn’t finish this. Was old, crumbling away, custard very thick and strawberries with a slight taste of fermentation in the back of my mouth. It has always been a hit and miss for fresh food in the cake department at Miss Mauds Mandurah Forum when buying takeaway. Sad as it’s my favourite place for a treat. Looks like I may have to order from the front.
Just had the worst sandwich from miss Maud’s at the Forum.
The filling was just in the middle of the bread and not spread to the edges.
Couldn’t taste any butter iff there was any. I had to tear the crusts off as the bread was so dry and it didn’t have the filling.
The curried egg was tasty but just 4 small mouthfuls out of the sandwich.
Think the sandwich makers need lessons on how to make sandwiches.
The food is nice and the staff are friendly! However the last two times i have ordered coffee here, I asked for oat milk but received full cream instead. Made me unwell as I dont stomach full cream well.
Chicken Parmigiana was so tough could not cut through with a knife if you threw it at the wall it would put a hole in it they did offer to cut it up for us as they did not have a sharp knife to offer to saw through the meat. Left on plate could not eat it.
