Miss Maud Dine In

I came with mum after not having been for many months. I was surprised to find there is no table service now, you must order at the counter. This could be sign posted better. We ordered a club sandwich which was tasty but was not presented like most club sandwiches. It's usually cut into quarters (we received it in messy halves) and the side salad was practically non existent. It did taste good. I think I'll head elsewhere for lunch next time.

Saw a Piggy Roll in the display cabinet priced at $7.50. Ordered it at the counter, with a coffee. Bill rang up as $17.50. I challenged and was told the roll is $12.50 to eat in. To their credit they offered to ask the manager for a refund. But this is bad practice, definitely a ripoff, disappointing as Miss Maud has generally been a good place to eat.

Food is not as good as it used to be.
Tuna Melt tastes different, not much Tuna and the side salad of potato, hard and no taste and price has increased so much
Coffee cold and weak.
Dirty plates left on table, not cleared away.
Very unfriendly at the Till and slow.
Have been a few times and always come away disappointed.
Last time was Chicken Drummettes and they were pink inside.
The servings have gone smaller and the prices have increased.

Very disappointed and nothing like it used to be. I remember the Tuna Melt from when I was a kid and it’s nothing like it used to be, what was spread on the toast looked like something I’d feed my cat. Side salad was very sad and not fresh. Salt and pepper shakers on the table were so dirty.
The upside… I enjoyed my drink and takeaway cake.

Always loved Miss Maud’s growing up however, this franchise is the biggest let down of them all. Ordered a meal with scrambled eggs and had a long black hair inside the scrambled eggs. This was at the bottom of the dish which I found when I was almost finished the dish. This is absolutely disgusting and will consider reporting to food safety. Rude service by the Asian waitress who talked to me in a condescending manner when being served at the counter and at the table. The sandwiches have barely any filling in them. They were tasteless and the bread was stale. When sitting inside, the room is extremely warm. Only giving one star because the drinks were okay.

I have bought " Almond & Orange " cake here for years.
NOW.price has jumped 30% in one hit. & cake slices resemble Fish Fingers!
Good-bye Miss Mauds.l can't afford you anymore!

Literally a tip. Has just progressively got worse over the last few years. Store filthy, no one to clear tables or serve even after table service scapped. Overpriced and the state of these club sandwiches or ‘best sellers’ slapped together.

That’s the end for me.

I used to work here and hated every second of it. I was underpaid, the breaks were unpaid and the manager was very condescending. Miss Maud might have nice food, but that doesn't excuse how they treated me or any other member of their staff.

Waited over 40mins for our people who arrived after us got there food before us the service was below standard

Go before 11am otherwise you will have to have takeaway, the seating area fills up quick, the staff are friendly.

Very warm service and atmosphere while dining in.not mentioned the gorgeous and tasty menu of choices.

What a wonderful experience! The staff were just so accommodating on such a busy day! Mother's Day us amazing here! Go here - the staff and good ARE AMAZING!

Takeaway Chicken and vegetable pie, rehydrated corn and pea. Salty as and pastry dried out and flakey. Not the best quality considering it was $6.60. Eatable if your hungry and on the go.

Best Mushroom soup ever! The Best Ever Club sandwich is huge and delicious. Always great food and drinks at Miss Mauds. The staff are always so friendly!

I'd like to know where the rest of my creamy egg is? It's over priced, and I practically paid 6 bucks for bread

Ordered the avocado toast with goats cheese and cappuccino.

Unfortunately the food was a bit underwhelming, and in particular the sourdough tasted stale. The goats cheese was good and saved the food from being not good.

The cappuccino was missed from the order, after waiting for over half an hour we went up to ask the counter whether it had being missed. They claimed that it was never ordered and made it out like I was trying to score a free coffee. I was surprised about this given that they had read the order back to us when it was placed with cappuccino included.

This was a busier period for the cafe so I understand that this may have been a bad day for them. I recommend that patrons keep their receipt when ordering here so that its easier to show your order if they forget something (I didnt and will do in the future)

Courteous and friendly staff and nice food selection that reminds me of when I went for weekend family morning breakfasts when I was a kid

Average tasting food but good spot to catch up with friends for a coffee before or after shopping in Garden City.

Ordered a large cappuccino with an extra shot. Was given one with 5 extra shots. Expained I ordered one with only 1 extra shot and they proceeded to make another one. This one had 4 extra shots! How hard is it to make a correct coffee.

Stunning service. Place was busy and popular yet the staff managed to find us a seat. Food was great too. Nice portion sizes and cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved the customer service, it was an amazing high quality that you seldom find around Perth. Hats off to the Miss Maud Saturday team for providing a lovely lunch time service. Highly recommend this place.
