Miss Maud Belmont

I had 2 sandwiches made today I just had mine and the bread was that stale it was the worst sandwich I have ever had in my life im waiting to see how the other one is as it's one of my staff lunch it was that stale I threw it in the bin considering I paid 16 odd dollars for a drink and a made up sandwich ripped of blind.

Environment: plenty of carparks. Located in Belmont Forum. Classic Swedish Maud decoration. Drawing materials for kids is available - 7/10
Service: Basically, find a table yourself. Laminated menu placed on the table. Then queue up to order and pay at the front desk. Normal waiting time for food. Not every table has sugar and pepper. Staff focused on finishing their jobs as fast as possible. - 6.5/10
Food: some food wasn't available this visit. The presentation is almost same as photos on the menu, but not very tidy. Normal portion. Price was acceptable but can't be good value.
- Ham & Cheese Omelet, $ 19.95: served with garden salad and a small Ciabatta toast (with melting butter). Raspberry Vinegarette was nice. Omelet was really soft. Good portion of fillings - 7.3/10
- Crab Sammige Open face Sandwich. $18.75: served with my choice of salad. It's beetroot salad. That's sour than green salad, but ok for me. The small and thin Swedish white bread on the bottom was very slightly buttered toasted. Relatively, Good amount of seafood in mayo. Really tasted Crab and Prawn on mayo. - 7/10
- Hot Chocolate with 2 Marshallows, $ 6.1 mug: it said mug. Actually, it is a cone shaped cup. A lot of cold foam on the top. So, it's not much hot chocolate indeed. Taste was ok, but not rich in texture. They have not enough mugs. They needed the mug after we finished. - 6.5/10
- Affogato, $ 5.4: ok

Very rude lady by the name of Megan who works there! This lady has a permanent scowl on her face and never smiles! She has poor customer service skills and puts this restaurant to shame. Do not go to this branch!

Food was ok, but offered very very slow service. Also, would have been good to provide napkins on the table.

I like Miss Mauds. I've found them to be a nice place for a quiet coffee and a sit-down with a friend or family member. This is still the case with this Miss Mauds. The food is good, the coffee is good, and the times are good.

Today in the morning I got Smoke salmon bagel. It was very dry with unfresh, dry and partly yellow salad inside. Even the lemon was dry and unfresh. I hope the salmon was fresh. Will not come back.

Best coffee by a country mile, right temperature, texture and flavour - I had a flat white. The table seating area is nice, clean and comfortable with a nice ambiance.

Ty mm belmont staff. I've had the bacon and egg sandwich, club sandwich and best seller in the past and enjoyed them all.

Coffee ️ was great and the food was yummy. Service was really good from the older staff member but not so good from the young ones that work there. I'm fussy and do expect good service where ever I spend my $$$. Then younger staff there on the day I was there, were not very friendly and seem to not want to be there. Training the younger ones on how to develop and use PR skills is a must when you are dealing with the public. I am speaking from experience. The restaurant part was very cold freezing in fact and the rest of the mall was quite pleasant. I asked if the air-conditioning could be made a little warmer but the younger staff members didn't know what to do and said it is controlled by the mall itself. But it was already warmer in the mall than in their shop. I asked to talk with their manager but not available. So we had to freeze. Their manner to me was put up with it. Not good in my eyes so I will be getting my coffee somewhere else

Came by today with a friend.she spent $36.just on a few pies and a sweet.now we asked for a bag.and was advised it cost 50 cents. I think this is so rude.plus the mushroom pie had NO MUSHROOMS.so how dissapointing.everything is mire expensive and the pressure are getting smaller.greedy and dissapointing.no customer service.

I can’t think of any time I have visited a Miss Maud without being delighted, today was no different when my mother and I enjoyed afternoon tea at Miss Maud Belmont just after 4pm on Saturday 14 May. The young man represented Miss Maud with pride, he was well groomed, polite and accommodated every request, my mother has a particular way she likes her coffee and her request was facilitated with a smile, the young man took initiative to remember those same request when my mum ordered a second cup after she was so pleased with the first (just the way I like it she said). I was impressed by the cleanliness of the seating area, the cakes taste fresh and well prepared, my black forest cake had plenty of rich dark cherries, was light and tasted great, overall I give Miss Maud Belmont the thumbs up, and to the young man who served us today, well done, you make Miss Maud proud and put a shine on our afternoon.

Wonderful customer service, they replaced a meal with no questions asked when it did not suit my grandmothers taste.

It took 20 mins to get to us and the food tasted like it was pulled out of a microwave and it was still cold and the coffee was $5.20 and tiny. Really really bad never going again

Received a (warm) iced chai latte. As well as dirty tables whilst staff members were standing around. Won't be coming back.

Ordered a takeaway coffee and left waiting over ten minutes while four staff worked at the counter, no one was ordering at the till and only three tables had people seated. Outrageously poor service. I ended up having to leave without getting my coffee and I wasn't offered anything to make up for the coffee that I paid for. Very disappointing. Will be avoiding and will go to one of the other coffee shops in the future.

Always great food and comfy seating. Always have to wait a while for food to come out but I still come here often.

The coffee is great but sometimes luke warm There has been NO PRINCESS CAKE 2 times we have gone there 2 Saturday in a row. This their signature cake, it should never be out of stock
The tables need wiping more often too.

I am sorry to say but I was very disappointed with my Cesar salad. The dressing was nice but they decided to dress the plate instead of the lettuce. I took a photo of the plate but I don't know how to post it. So will try and describe it. There were full pieces of cos lettuce stick out of the plate like a fan. They were brown ends to them. There was a small amount of lettuce in the middle with a heap of bacon, croutons and dressing, which by the way was very tasty. But it was all on the plate and not the lettuce. Even the soft boiled egg was on the side of the plate. I had to cut the lettuce up remove all the brown bits and try and toss it on the plate and get some of that dressing on the lettuce. Not fun. Maybe you need to try and make it less fancy.
