Doctor Kanungo worst doctor doesn't care at all for he's patients! Also grumpy and doesn't listen to your concerns at all!

Wouldn't recommend this centre. I had a serious issue with a doctor, sent an email to address, and was completely dismissed. I would never recommend a clinic that's not interested in listening to their patients.

On Friday 5th May 2023 at 5: 40pm I attended Mirrabooka Medical Centre for a pre booked appointment.on entering the doctor’s room I noticed another person in there at no point was any introduction or inquiry if it’s ok for him to remain in the room, I realised he was a medical student, no consideration what's so ever given to the fact that I perhaps was not comfortable to have this unknown person in my appointment. The doctor spent more time discussing my previous health history without my permission even when he was examining me he was directing his comments to the student like we are in a medical lecture. I was just a medical object for presentation to the student, furthermore the student started to ask me personal health questions like he was my doctor! With all the questions and presentations I became overwhelmed and confused, I had to actually ask them to only have one of them direct their questions to me. In the end I cut my visit short because it was very stressful.at reception to pay my account and I commented that it would have been appropriate to let patients know before they go to the doctor room that there is a medical student with them, the response from receptionist was. We are not required to tell that upfront you should say it when you are in the room. When I said this is not appropriate, people might be embarrassed or uncomfortable to raise their objection once they are in there, she dismissed my comments and said it’s not our business! I was absolutely shocked at their disregard and lack of respect for their patient’s privacy. I then said there's no respect for patients in this clinic to which I found myself been shouted by the other receptionist telling me how dare I say that.to which I responded what’s wrong with what I’m saying it’s the truth based on my experience just now, then asked to speak to the practice manager and was told in angrily voice there’s no practice manager and angrily pushed a paper at me to write a complaint and then left. I am so disappointed in the level of service i received at my appointment, I feel that the doctors and the receptionists take advantage of the fact that the bulk of their patients are from low socio - economic or non English speaking background.

The doctors are fantastic but the reception staffs needs to be seriously trained to handle human patients. Such a pathetic bunch and they need to leave medical industry and that would be a huge favour to us.

Rude Insensitive Uncompassionate Desk Staff. Lisa seemed to be more focussed on recouping a $35 No Show Fee for a genuine oversight for a 1st missed appointment than in the actual healthcare of its patients in need of medical services! Refusal to allow any further appointments despite severe financial hardship. If I could score this practice a zero star review I would! Stealing from the poor to pay the rich! Why would anyone in severe financial hardship pay $35 for not receiving any medical consult/treatment at all when it was a first time genuine oversight? If habitual I’d understand but 1st offence …. Really? We are human. People make mistakes. I genuinely got confused on which day I had my appointment. I guess it’s all about profits over actual patient care!

The only doctors that you have to buy water at a vending machine. I'm 26 and healthy but its hot. I feel for the elderly sitting here waiting with no water on such hot days. Please put a water thing in so we don't have to pay $6 for some water. Im lucky enough to be able to run to coles for $1 drink but not everyone can walk like i can.

Secondly, the double standard of masks. I was asked to put one on while the other patient was sitting there without one. Watching the staff behind the desk half wearing them or not at all - sure the receptionists wear them but you can see people walking around at the back without them. Not sure what that's about but definitely will be questioning it should I get asked to "put my mask on properly" again. If it's a rule for one its the rule for all.

Thirdly, 2: 20pm i checked in. I wasn't told to wait in any specific room so i was waiting at reception like everyone else. 3: 20pm i checked on my appointment as many people had walked in after me and been seen. Was told to go wait in the other waiting room. Could have been told that an hour ago so I could wait in the correct place -. - no wonder I'm still sitting here wondering where my doctor is for over an hour.

Extremely rude reception no profession in the way they speak to you on the phone. I call to make appointments and the way the ladies answer and deal with bookings is bitter. There was no issues they had to stress about but they had a rude tone since the beginning of the conversation

Has been my medical centre for a number of years, there service how is below sub standard, made an appointment 14/9 for 11.15 arrived at 10.45 the reception noted I was there, waited to 12.20, had to walk out.
The attitude is one of couldn't care less, time to change
The reception needs to stop fighting among them selves and get on with the job of assisting doctors

I’ve been a patient for over a decade. Usually able to do walk-ins at 7-8am.
Not many doctors open at that hour.

Excellent customer service from Dr Joe chamizo, you could easily tell it's not all about money for him, he took time to ask about my other aspects of life, just to come to a proper medical diagnosis, definitely good for a family doctor.

I would not recommend anyone to this medical centre. Especially "Dr" HELEN VU. My mother went and saw her a couple months ago in regarding to a Asthma prescription and she requested for a particular brand. "DR" HELEN VU rudely told my mother to go back to whoever provided her last prescription to sort it out for her. Today my mother got sent directly to the hospital for further investigation due to her chest pain which was supposedly to be check regularly every 6 to 12 months. That "DR" HELEN VU was supposed to send off referral to the hospital which she failed to do so. She NEEDS to have her DR licence reassessed before she puts more patients lives at risk! She does not treat her patients with any respect. She has been very condescending and unprofessional. She does not care or show any concern towards her patients medical problems.

I attended this Medical Centre when it was previously located at Princess Rd so its been 40 years. I'm forever grateful 2 DR Jimmy Chang and other Drs who've always had my best interest. The girls who work on the front reception have always been polite even though I've noticed at times they've had to endure a lot of challenging situations
Spare a thought for Drs and staff in these difficult times.

Absolutely disgusting experience thanks to Dr Rehman. This man told me my suicidal ideations were attention seeking behaviour. When I asked for an STD test, he told me that maybe I should stop being so promiscuous. I would never recommend such a disgusting medical centre. It’s unprofessional and honestly worryingly apathetic. Health professionals are meant to be there for their patients and this man wouldn’t listen to me at all. I felt like an inconvenience

Constantly late with appointments. Sometimes waiting over an hour and rude reception staff. I just went there today and you have some new policy that if your 15 early you have to wait outside. The receptionist lied and said its been a pplicy for a month buy I was here last week and i was early. Unprofessional. Thought we were moving forward with ovid not backwards

Doctors and staff are rude, they say they are a bulk billed practice after my appointment when it came to payment they charged me $110 for an appointment! Followed with a rude statement from the staff.

I have appointment at 1630 and have to wait for 1h before my turn. However, I request to general health check (including blood test). Doctor ask me: 'you're just 27yrs, why would you need health check? , why need blood test? ' I was shock of those question. Also, she has quick look into my filed and says last time I have been done the general check from different GP, why dont you go there instead of here?:) for real, that general health check from last year or 2 year before. I have been moving different location and I told her I couldn't go there cause of moving.and her is my family GP from last 10 years.
Anyway, I ask her to help me with my pre-employment health check, she look through and ask me why I haven't fill it out so she can sign it? I explain: I thought you need to go through it with me, cause it need your signature and stamp from you. She reply: 'I have no time to go through this with you, you have to come back another time.tomorrow is fully book also i am away next few days.can you come back next week and MAKE SURE FILL THE DOCUMENT OUT BEFORE YOU COME? ':) you ask to pay for my consultation $80 fro 10 mins and quickly ask me to leave and see other patient?
This is not the first time I have bad experience with this GP, I wont name you out. I hope you read this and realize your behave to your patient.
