I love the large variety of products this store offers. I always come into minitopia when i’m at Joondalup

Fairly small shop but pact with a lot of fun! Staff are very friendly and the figurines and choices that are extremely plentiful and fun to choose from

On Boxing Day (today), typically the day of pure chaos for every retail worker, I experienced one of, if not, the best, exceptional customer service moments.

I am a collector of a certain pop vinyl set and I have been attempting to finish my collection for 18months but find the ones I need sell out quickly.

When I went to the counter and enquired about the pop vinyls.
The lady serving me, named Oceana, said the usual and expected “no sorry” but soon after took it upon herself with no prompting on my part to look up all the figures available at other stores, then proceeded to offer to call each individual store to not only enquire about their stock but get them delivered to my nearest store so I could collect them all at the same time with convenience… I was absolutely amazed with her initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to provide me that service when she had absolutely no obligation to do so.

Because of Oceana I have now completed a collection that really means a lot to me and has taken me so long.

I would like a response from store management to confirm Oceana receives the deserved positive feedback and credit she deserves.

Today was a chaotic day for all retailers and I came in toward the end of the day and she had obviously maintained her customer service despite fatigue.

Oceana is an amazing representative/face for your store and management as well as Oceana herself should receive this positive feedback to encourage & inspire others to take pride in their work like that.

I will be a loyal customer at Minitopia from now on and go to them before any other similar store so I can receive this kind of service and enthusiasm about my collecting!

Ps. I am a sincere stranger to this sales rep, I just feel good feedback should be given more often and especially when it’s very much deserved!

Not very accessible for wheelchair users ngl.that rly needs to be fixed, even in the midland store.sucks for ppl who enjoy these items but can't actually get in lol

Some things may be a bit pricey but definitely unique, if your into collections, like Marvel, DC, Anime, Disney, really any superhero or character you can think of then Minitopia is for you, I love this shop:)

I went with my family to minitopia just for a look around, and I noticed a unicorn headband for $3. My daughter loved unicorns so I took it up to the counter for her. I ended up not having enough funds as a direct debit came out. I apologised and one of the girls behind the counter stopped me on the way out and said “we will pay for it you little girl looked too cute it”. I was completely gobsmacked. You don’t get that kind of service anywhere. Thank you so much for being there for me and my little girl that day. It means a lot to me. Thank you

Nice store with nice product until you realized that they are reselling some cheap stuff from aliexpress. You can literally find the exact thing on aliexpress for cheaper price (2-3$) and with free shipping. While here they are reselling it at an exaggerated price

I wanted to acknowledge and compliment Zoë! She served me with a smile, was enthusiastic, helpful and overall so pleasant. She was also so patient with me to ensure I got the product I wanted! Thank you Zoë for your excellent customer service! Ps. Shout out to Donna who was also so knowledgeable and friendly! Great to see this at a time where shopping can be so stressful!

This store is not wheelchair accessible. Tbh, it's not even trolley accessible. The aisles are extremely narrow and cluttered. It's difficult and unsafe for me to get around the store when using my walking cane, as I can't squeeze past people - the aisles are literally not wide enough for two average adults to stand back-to-back. When using my wheelchair, I can't even get into the store, at all, so I doubt it's possible to get a trolley in there. A mobility scooter wouldn't even get past the entrance.

If you care about the 20% of Australians who are disabled, please shop elsewhere. It's simply not good enough for a business to operate as though disabled people either don't exist or aren't welcome, and I'm honestly not sure which is worse.

Do better, Minitopia.

Store is not disability-friendly and when spoken to the staff about it, they gave a non-chalet response.

Ordered online for a click and collect order, five minutes after confirming and paying for said order I was called by one of the staff at Joondalup, one of the items was unavailable so instead of having it shipped to store they replaced the item with something similar, I was able to collect the items on the same day which was great, their two biggest downfalls are their sales tactics and their customer service. The store is so small you can barely move through to reach the counter (which is based in the centre) I go to collect my order only to be stared at by multiple staff members whilst waiting to be served, finally when I am served they grab ALL of the items (four medium-large items) out of the bag they have been packaged in and tell me I need to purchase a $3 bag to take my items away in. Yet they were placed in a minitopia plastic bag for collection. Poor form and outright rude.

Have some very nice stock but it is such a small shop. Really squishy inside otherwise quite nice.

Went in on Saturday (11/09) and saw that the store was handing out balloons, I was disgusted to discover that staff members were blowing up balloons with their mouths. This is unsanitary and unprofessional especially during covid times, I would’ve thought the staff would have some common sense. On top of this when asking about a certain item the lady with the dark, long hair was rude and dismissive, even to her younger staff.seems as though she needs to be retrained in customer service and learn some manners!

Friggin love this store. They have great prices, such cute and cuddly (and collectable) products. Including Pusheen, pops, figurines, plushies, cute jewellery, diaries, backpacks and more! Its worth a look to find something cute and unique at a great price!
