Millet Park reviews
22Love the newly added bike track and small skate ramp to complete the playground. Just what this park is needed. My 1 and 3 year old absolutely love it. Toilets also available nearby. Wish there was a bin closer to the seating/play area.
Millet park Features workout/exercise facilities, toilets, a kids' playground a spider web and the newly added skatepark and bike skill track and Is easy to access with parking that is usually not crowded. Despite the small skatepark, it has a rale and a quarter pipe to practice your tricks and have a great time. My only complaint is the crowds on the weekends which is understandable and I also wish there was a separate skatepark section for older kids to avoid a collision. There is plenty of grasses area for ball games, dogs and a barbeque for picnics or gatherings not to mention a shady area for hot days. Overall I think it has something for everyone to enjoy and is definitely worth a visit.
The shade sails at the children's playground certainly made a difference on a hot day. Wished there were toilets nearby though and not have to traverse the field. Great place for walks and exercise.
Very lovely park with a nice playground. Plenty of open space to play ball games, and also plenty of shaded areas. Has a carpark but also the option to park around the park.
Nicely maintained park with toilets and a nature playground. The main point of difference with other parks is the large climbing frame fashioned from red rope. Strong enough to hold adults as well as children, getting to the top is well worth the effort if you want to escape the crowds below.
A great space for families with kids of all ages. Cool spider web type playground and something for the younger kids too. Mostly well shaded (not the spider part unfortunately). Toilets, BBQs, gazebos. Lots of parking. Playground looks like it could use a good clean though
Not the usual park, great place for the dogs to sniff around, definitely not boring open space.
Great park, big park. Always clean, Plenty of garbage bins. Area for children, chairs, benches, gazebos, great park for walking/exercising dogs, access to a water faucet. Wonderful park for families & picnics. Great park for personal fitness & exercise. Great park for meditation. Public bathrooms, soft grass, big trees, surrounded by quiet residential streets, in a quiet part of a safe suburb.
Gorgeous, well manicured, shady park. Great for walks, picnics, jogging, and playing. Fun for everyone of all ages. There's a playground for older kids 6-13 with an elaborate spiderweb to climb. Also a smaller playground for younger kids.
This park is great for kids whose moms want to keep watching and talking to kids while they play.
A big picnic table under a cover is next to the small playground equipment and a big athletic of ropes as a name sake for this park, Spider-Man Park by locals.
There are a plenty of benches under shades of trees between the athletics and the bbq facility.
And also there is a wide grass area to run around for kids and doggies.
Good everyday park with a lot of green and public bathrooms if you live nearby.
Pretty good park, not much to do there though. If a skate park was implemented would change it to a 5 star park, bring a lot more people.
A nice park that has small and quite clean playground. You can enjoy walking here with your loved ones.
Good park for dogs, all the owners are very friendly. Good facilities, BBQ and public toilet and large playground for kids.
Vast space and play facilities for kids. Plenty of seating facilities to spend some time
relaxing in the evening or any time of day in these summer months. Plenty of trees and bird life.
Good all-round park. Spiderman climbing net is one of the biggest I've seen.
All well maintained, sand underneath is kept clean.
Smaller playground is good for 2 - 5 year olds, my 6 year olds get bored easily once finished with the climbing net.
Toilets are well maintained and clean. Lights weren't working when I was there today, but could be on a timer that had just not ticked over.
Good job for City of Stirling to maintain such a park at this quality. I guess our rates are worth something.
A well kept park. With pretty seating areas Dog friendly ideal to stretch your legs after a long trip.
Lovely grassed area. Has shade from trees and table and bench. Has bbq and playground with climbing ropes
The park gets its nickname from the large climbing “web” that is a prominent feature. It has two sides with rubber crows nest type platforms near the top. In the bottom level, there are six Tarzan style swings to hang from. Kids four and over will get the most out of these climbing ropes.
Under utilised park needs something more like a skate park or basketball court. Just so much land maintained but not used enough.
