Went to them for a tiny single word engraved on a provided item, engraving work was fine but I’m pretty disgusted with being charged $25 for it. If I’d known of any other places local I would have gone elsewhere. That’s just taking advantage of people.

I just change My battery for 25$ and its not working. Worse customer service ever. He was not replying my questions correctly and when i asked questions he was just mad. I loose my 25$ for no reason

Need to update your opening hours. Website 8 am actual opening time 9am. Really annoyed at waiting around for an hour.

Look he did the job quickly & the engraving is reasonable, but for 8 teeny small characters (4 letters, 4 numerals) & a less than 2min job: $20 (+ EFTPOS surcharge). Ol mate is on another planet

I dont usually put reviews but everyone needs to know this. Recently went to this place to get a bracelet engraved for a 21st Birthday, where the guy (Grey haired, and glasses, definitely was not Ray) said he was happy to do it for $20. Had a decent convo with the guy, but left to complete the work as requested, so to not annoy or hinder his service. I came back only for the engravement to be off centre, scuffed with marks & indented with a dot, which appears he'd left his engraver on the silver as he realised he couldn't combine the M and a. To be honest, It looked like my little brother could have drawn better than this. I told him that this was unacceptable for a 21st gift, where he consistently asked why it was not ok, and even made a sneaky comment to say that his boss would say the etching is fine. He even wanted me to pay for his services - absolutely unacceptable. He wrote a replacement ticket and stormed off to Shiels and he attempted to replace the bracelet. I waited. He came back and started being short and suborn with me, even though I appreciated that he went out of his way to fix the problem. Because he was short and rude, I told him that I'll take the bracelet from shiels and go elsewhere with my business and get the service completed elsewhere. We began arguing in the middle of the shopping centre, , where he saying that it was BS and that the bracelet look perfectly fine. I went to Shiels after he did only for the two ladies to notify me that he never paid for the bracelet. I went back to Mikes and demanded the money, (had the receipt for the purchase) where at first he refused but insisted giving the cash shortly after when I notified him I'll get the ACCC involved. As I took the money and the scuffed bracelet, he stated to me that I was a 'Scammer' and that I was there to take his money in the first place. Unbelievable. Thankfully, the ladies sort it all out for me and even offered recommendations to buff it out. If there was a no star option, This would be it. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL.

Went in for an engraving. Very polite, asked for my requirements and made suggestions for the message which I took up because it made the message more meaningful. Well priced and quality finishing.

Got 3 keys cut, got home to find the main one didn't even go halfway into the lock. Drove back and asked for a refund and he started cutting another key. Told him I wanted a refund which he did and told me to keep the new key (hence an extra star).

Got back to find motion is clunky and requires some wiggling to get it in fully. Can't test the others yet but after comparing the teeth I have low hopes for one of them.

Ray & Karim, are great workers. Always friendly and willing to help. When you go here make sure one of these lovely gents help you.
