Midas Motel Kalgoorlie

Used as a stop over for the night. Staff were friendly n very helpful. Location is ok. Close to town center. The roundabout at the front, makes for noisey traffic. But it settles at night.

I haven't had a chicken parmigiana that good in a long time, veggies were bloody good too. Staff are helpful and great. Two thumbs up

We decided to travel by train to Kalgoorlie to celebrate our wedding anniversary (our first night all those years ago was spent on the train to Kalgoorlie on our way to Melbourne). When we booked our accommodation at Midas Motel, we were impressed with the friendly and helpful service we received. On arrival (after 7 hours on the Prospector), we were greeted by welcoming staff at the front desk and easily checked in.
On arrival in our room we were surprised and delighted to see a lovely hand written card acknowledging our anniversary, a packet of chocolate mints and a bottle of wine (how did they know it was one of our favourites?).
Having stayed at multiple hotels and motels internationally and throughout Australia for business travel (some in excess of 15 times), this is by far to best experience of a hotel or motel going well beyond expectations.
Well done to Hayley and her fantastic staff.

Poor motel! Poor management cancelled on us at last minute and came from 6 houre away what a joke wouldn't stay there if i was you.

Was clean enough. But couldn't use laundry machines were full of workers clothes and dryers could only be used by staff. For businesses that offer the package deal to there staff. Was a poor selection of prepared meals to choose from. And the fruit available was old and unappetizing for the amount they charge would have expected better

This motel is primarily used by the mining industry. At a time when Kalgoorlie is pretty much booked out, I was lucky enough to get a room as a walk in. I was charged their standard room rate which was reasonable. The staff were friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome even though I caused them extra work. The motel is old but well maintained and very clean. The bed was fresh and comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. The air conditioner could have been quieter but it worked well and kept the room comfortable. They have a restaurant which I didn't get to try but I suspect it delivers what it promises. This is a nice place to stay. I think I was lucky to find a room available.

Booked an hour before I turned up. No probs. Walk in and in 5 mins I’m walking out with a key. Room was great size and shower/bathroom was great. Bed super comfy. Reasonable price for Kalgoorlie. All I needed.

I said at the mitres for work for a week the room was large and the bed was very comfortable they provide food and the food is actually really good they provide lunch also for person working. Shower was nice and the water was hot. The staff at the Midas, especially the kitchen staff are always so very happy to see you and are very kind and very helpful.
