81 Bought my first car from Melville Subaru. No “pushy sales man”, just a very knowledgeable, pleasant and honest person willing to help me. Went out of his way to explain everything to me and no question to much for them. The after sales service I received was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anybody thinking of buying a new or used car to try this place first. They wont let you down.

Melville customer service is excellent, Daniel took the time to show me how the vehicle worked. Once I drove the Forester, it sold its self. Coming from a old old car it was nice having Daniel's patience and guiding me through the buying process. Thankyou Melville Subaru. Well Done
Overall happy with the service I received at Melville Subaru
The only minor thing was I checked in the morning about a time to come in and pick up the car and when I arrived as organised I waited for over half an hour before someone could assist me. Understand that at times people can get busy but I would suggest organising someone else to assist if the person you are dealing with is busy.
The help I received at the end in setting up the car etc … was fantastic and they were also very responsive to fix any issue I raised.
Purchased a used car from Sarah, and I have never dealt with such a lovely car salesperson. She was professional, demonstrated the cars features and made buying a car a pleasure instead of a headache. Negotiated a deal I was happy with, and had a bow on the car, even if only for a minute in strong winds, when we picked the car up. Highly recommend dealing with Sarah. The rest of the staff were also very helpful, but Sarah was the stand out.
Haven't been going to Subaru for servicing for years after I had a single major service completed with them when I first got my 06 Liberty. Too much $$ for little guarantee that the work is done. Little things like filling your water is overlooked. It's those little things that show they actually want your business.
Anyway, fast forward to today. Arranged with the parts team for some replacement pedal covers (although even that wasn't pain free). First respondent told me I couldn't get what I wanted, however a second team member got back to me with the right details and organised the ordering of said parts. Contacted service team to get a booking, all good, enough time to allow for parts to arrive for a 25th July booking. Received a confirmation/notification on the 22nd for my booking. I get up a bit earlier to arrive there when they open, drop the car off, no issues mentioned. I go get a coffee, take a stroll and return 30-40 minutes later. I notice my car has been returned to the front so I peek in to see if the work is done. Nope.
I go inside and wait in the waiting room, then get called up and am then told that all the parts are not in yet and they won't do the work just yet. I can get that but how about telling me BEFORE I RUIN MY MORNING. That's an hour and half of my day gone, for nothing. Barely an apology and nothing offered to make up for the inconvenience. Proving to me yet again that it's not worth paying more for so-called "authentic Subaru" work.
So.it's been many years since these bad experiences.and for the most part, they've been fine since. Yes, it costs a fair bit but the quality of work and relationship management has been very good.
We've taken 4 different cars there and there hasn't been anything to complain about. Even if they still don't fill your water reservoir.
Very happy with the service when buying a used car. I dealt with Sarah and found her professional and friendly, ready to answer any queries, would be confident in recommending Melville subaru and certainly Sarah. Thanks!

Found a used car I liked and within 7 days I had it negotiated to a price I was happy with, mechanically checked, few minor issues fixed by the dealership and then parked in my driveway all mine!
