Meelup Farmhouse reviews
54Always a favourite place of ours for breakfast The staff are awesome and provide exceptional service. The food is always amazing and fresh. Thank you to the MFH team!
Kids meals were expensive, small and not even that good. Main meals were alright. Service was average. Nice location though. On another note, the maple syrup here is amazing.
Wife and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Beautiful restaurant and surrounds food was served quickly and everything was delicious. Staff very attend and kind we would highly recommend
Went for a quiet lunch on Friday the 12th of November. Once again we had a fantastic time, and were treated to a delicious lunch. The wife and I shared the Miso Eggplant side with the Porchetta main.
Both were unreal. This is the third time we have had the Miso Eggplant dish, and it will definitely be something we come back to enjoy.
If you haven't had a chance, do yourself a favour and book a table for this venue.
Be prepared to be swarmed by flies.
We couldn’t enjoy our meals as the flies and heat were a major problem. $90 for 3 kids meals was also cause for concern, our three share plates were cheaper. On the way out my 2 year old was pecked by a rooster. Not an enjoyable experience at all. I think I’ll come back in winter and leave the kids at home.
We shared the salt and pepper squid, the Lamb shanks, and a side of green vegetables.
The Lamb shanks were plenty for 2, flavoursome, and cooked perfectly. The side of the greens was extraordinary, sweet, and fresh.
Finished with a refreshing affogato.
Staff of the day were extremely pleasant and "on to it. "
We shared a bottle of wine from the local Wise vineyard.
This hidden gem is not to be missed.
EV Charter clients rave about the food and service. The animal interaction is a great attraction, with lammas, longhaired cattle, geese, and ducks with a resident Labrador that greets you if you're lucky enough. You can lose yourself in the atmosphere.
Pretty good food, Gorgeous ambiance! We came for brunch on Sunday and the place was packed. I ordered the Sweetcorn fritters with poached eggs, dill hollandaise and Margaret River venison chorizo. The taste was great. Unfortunately, the portion was rather small and the chorizo was only small pieces on top the eggs. I highly recommend adding sourdough bread or sausage for a more filling meal. My friends ordered the chilli scramble eggs with char siu pork belly and the scramble eggs with truffle. Both were quite small. Thankfully The Farmhouse (their big brekkie) was fairly big. We also shared the date&ginger pudding with ice cream, nice, but too sweet for my taste. Lots of great photo spots and great service. Cute alpacas too. We will be back to give their lunch menu a shot.
Pro tip: Book ahead!
Such a beautiful experience. Food was running behind but staff very apologetic and friendly and communicative.
Little suggestion to add coat hooks in the toilets:)
Good service, good location and ambience. Food was the let down. 40+ for a tiny bit of fish and the pasta was so overcooked.
Absolutely incredible place! So glad we found it. Great food, and the most amazing chai ever. If you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by Anj who has the most infectious smile ever… my wife and I couldn’t stop smiling every time we saw her. We were served by Alex who was ever so sweet and took great care of us. It was so refreshing to order and pay from the table vs the bar like at most places we visited in the area. Definitely recommend this spot!
We have visited Meelup Farmhouse multiple times now for both breakfast & lunch, aswell as having our wedding there last year. The service is always fantastic and we always thoroughly enjoy the food/drinks. My favourite place to visit when down south.
Lovely location and views, amazing food, and the cocktails hit the spot. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend brunch for a great start to your day.
A must visit to this restaurant if you're in the area. The furniture and decor is beautiful. I love the look of the furniture and all the lanterns in the restaurant. The huge back garden and green lawn is dotted with white couches ready to host groups. The food was delicious as was the coffee.
Good ambience with good variety of food both local and intrastate.
Service was professional and attentive without being overbearing.
Great experience, thanks
Beautiful place, great food and very friendly attentive staff. Would definitely visit again.
Celebrated a milestone birthday with a family brunch. Everyone loved their meals, the coffee was great and the table service very good.
The 3yr old in our group loved exploring the farmyard afterwards.
We made reservations for lunch to celebrate our anniversary with our kids and it was superb! Food was really good, ambiance is perfect and our kids didn’t get bored at all. It was one of the best lunch with the family truly memorable ️
Came here twice and had a great time for both. Managed to get tables despite not having bookings in advance. Great service.
Lovely experience with the young family visiting the animals, playing on the lawn and eating a delicious brunch. Looking forward to returning for lunch soon.
