Worst policy ever. They are opening policy and deducting amount at the same day but when its time to refund, they don't care.
On the phone, they say we can't help you. Sending an email is worse than phone call. No reply until 7-10 days.

1 lady on the phone said that you will get refund from the day you contacted us but when i visited branch after 2 weeks, that lady said we can't do refund back dates. Please give same instructions to everyone so that you don't mislead your clients.

Recommending everyone not to go with medibank.
Wasted about $200 just because of mislead info.
Please be bit more specific.

Visited here on 25/11/22.
The male staff was unprofessional, unhelpful and a bit rude. He also submitted my claim as extra which was wrong and denied. I had to chase it up over the phone to get it right.

When ever I came to Medibank they always change their policy’s I am with them from last 4 years and first time I visit to Perth office it’s because I need to get money back from them because I paid for couple insurance and unfortunately my spouse visa rejected and I want money back and then they said we can’t do unless your spouse come and get refund from us and then seconds time I came to know where I can go for my test prescribed by doctor and they said you have to call and get details I go back home then i spent 1 hour for that and after that one of my friend told me that they will return you Money you have to go there back and then I come back and after that one of the Medibank member help me Because I cried in front of her and today I came back for my claims they make another story that they won’t be able to claim for me then why they are here just for sitting and I ask them that I have podiatrist payment to claim and they said you are unable to claim that because it’s not in your insurance policy and I call Medibank before I go to podiatrist I tell them the MBS number they said it will claim and I don’t know that lady on phone lie to me or they lady in the Medibank office of Perth lie to me. It horrible I travel 45 minutes to come to Perth Medibank office why they have office here of same company I don’t k so where should I go to claim that so hard with this insurance company really bad experience please my suggestion is don’t come to office better to call them instead of travelling and visiting them

Renee Lewis provided me an outstanding customer service and human attention. It was my very first time that needed to attend face to face and I had an amazing experience by visiting the CBD branch. Renee was efficient and kind! Felling quite satisfied with my Medibank membership since 2018.

Going to find a new fund, you can't get anyone on the phone, absolutely the worst service I've ever encountered, pathetic. 0 stars from me.one letter change in the word bank would describe the perfectly.

Would be fantastic if they actually cover something,! I was paying over $1200 a year and everytime i tried to claim it wasnt covered.seems NOTHING was covered.well as a male, they covered me for pregnancy.go figure.but the stuff that was actually useful was never covered.insurance with Medibank is just dead money and a total scam. Only when i advised to cancel my policy did they then offer me $250 to try and sweeten the deal. Good riddance

Two days before the surgery I get a call saying they don't cover the surgery because we haven't held the policy for a year. So now there isn't enough time to get preexisting condition forms signed.easy decision to change insurers.

Well I eat my words because Medibank came through in the end.

This is a really convenient location to speak to Medibank. The people are friendly and service is fast. You are treated individually and personally by customer representatives that really know and care about giving you the best service. Often big companies are a little faceless and this location shows otherwise.

Cbd office only has two staff regardless if number of people waiting. Waited for an hour and still waiting. Cant believe they wont put more staff on?

I have had Medibank membership over 1 year now. Ever since I took my membership never ever been able to login. Every time I call the customer service it take way too long to connect with them and never been able to sort-out the issues. I called 132331 today and initially I was informed by the recording my wait time will be around 19-23 minutes. I was on hole for almost 1 hour. This is utter disrespect for someone’s time. Medibank should have a way to get back to customers someway if they have any technical issues.
Also, my son was admitted to hospital with an acute viral (Diagnosis - Acute mesenteric adenitis) and after giving the hospital discharged summary still the company is after me for a Pre-existing condition certificate to be filled. We are in the 21st century. In house advisors / doctors should be able to note the reason for my son’s treatment. Instead, Medibank just want to follow ticking boxes. It’s sad and utter disrespect how company like to trouble people because of some fine print to make a claim.

Not impressed. My 93 year old mother here since 1987. On retirement visa from U. K.and no Medicare. She has paid exorbitant top level fees all this time, is now very fragile with dementia. Doctors want to admit public or private hospital. Booking clerk from Hollywood Hospital called Medibank today about what Medibank will cover for her. Medibank simply told Booking Clerk she had not paid her latest instalment of Medibank (she lost cards) - it was paid Friday last week! Seems to me based on what I was told Medibank has an incompetent system, and has no interest in her welfare only money, certainly not in a 93 yo who can barely walk, and is likely to die very soon.

Customer service in store fantastic but when you need to contact someone by phone you are put on hold for at least 15 mins. Who can afford to be placed on hold when you are on a mobile? Maybe you should include a service where the customer can leave their contact number and medibank private can call you back. Other service providers offer this service for their valued! Customers.
