It's Emma here, and I can't recommend Dr Akram highly enough, he takes his time with you, and he treats you like a person, not a number, been going to dr Akram for a while now. And not going to stop:)

Dr Akram was recommended to me as having great knowledge on diabetes. I find him to be very caring and always ready to suggest better treatment when needed.
I am very happy to have Dr Akram as my Dr and hope that he will be at Mead Medical for a long time.

Seem big on charging money rather then helping people, way to intense on the phone about needing to charge lots of money then open their website and it's a big speal about needing to charge lots of money, doesn't feel like what I want out of a medical centre, I never even asked about money, seems like a bit of a scam to me.

My ex GP who works here randomly dropped me when I had a crisis partially caused by a mistake the practice made. I am not allowed to be informed why I was dropped. My GP quite literally yelled at me down the phone that he won't see me anymore and completely refused to tell me why. I was left without my vital precsription medication and had to schedule an emergency appointment with a different GP at a different practice who I did not know at all. I was also accused of misusing my prescription by taking one pill per day - "one to two per day as required, " is exactly the instructions said GP gave me himself. So either he is admitting he way overprescribed me, or he is lying to try and make it sound like I have a substance abuse disorder, knowing how this could damage my permanent medical record and shatter any future trust medical professionals may have for me. If I could give zero stars I would. I took weeks to recover from this.

Dr Akram is a very professional and caring doctor who is able to make my child feel at ease and creates a positive experience seeing his doctor. Each time I’ve attended Mead Medical the staff have been welcoming and professional and Dr Akram’s appointments have always been punctual.

Dr James Read and his admin team have been tremendously helpful and patient as we navigate our way through my never ending list of medical problems and the paperwork involved. I am grateful that I can have some autonomy over my own health care and that is because we are able to discuss all avenues towards health openly so the best outcomes can be reached.

Naveed Arkham and Annie naveed are the most caring doctors. Both have always trusted me when I felt something was wrong with my young children. If it wasn’t for Annie my boy may not have been here. To be honest any doctor we have seen at mead medical Kalamunda have always listened to us personally and always been fabulous with our kids.

Mead Medical have fantastic, friendly staff and can usually be seen when needed.
Dr Akram has been fantastic to deal with and my boys and I have found our life long doctor.

What a wonderful and warm experience from Dr. Naveed Akram who takes the time to go over your issues clearly and concisely along with suitable treatment options. If you want a GP who is kind, considerate, extremely intelligent but also very worldly and non-judgemental you couldn't find a better Doctor anywhere. Highly recommend.

I see Dr Naveed Akram and can only praise him. It's a breath of fresh air, to have a dr interested and actually listen to you.

Dr Annie Naveed is incredibly caring, empathetic, professional and thorough. I looked for a new doctor for some time after my previous doctor left and I feel so lucky to have found her. She’s also almost always on time which I really appreciate.

I have followed Dr. Naveed Akram because
he was my Doctor for several years. Very good hard to find ️Was sad when he left at previous surgery.

When we moved to the area 4 years ago, we were fortunate enough to have a happenchance appointment with Dr Naveed Akram. Multiple members of our family had undiagnosed chronic health problems, life was very difficult. After listening in earnest, along with his extensive medical and personal knowledge, each of us were put on the right medical paths to receive diagnoses and treatments. Dr Akram is a genuine practitioner, who cares about your overarching health and well being. We were so fortunate to meet on that day as our lives have dramatically changed for the better under his care.

Dr Naveed Akram is the best, I have been seeing him for approximately 3 years maybe a little more. He is the most considerate, caring and very thorough, and has time to see you, not just a quick visit. He checks up on you and will touch base with you if needed. I have recommended him to a few people now and am regretting it because now he’s always booked out. I know when I see him he will put me on the right track for me!

Annie Naveed has been my GP for at least 3 years. She has always been kind, caring and respectful, listening to concerns and providing options for treatment. She’s fabulous in a crisis when you need someone to listen, act & support. I’ve followed her from her previous practice & would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable GP.

Dr Naveed Akram & Dr Annie Naveed have been our family doctors for the last few years. Both are extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable, always willing to take the time to listen. No problem is too big or too small.
