MCQ Perth Supermarket reviews
36I find all Asian vegetables in this store. Very reasonable prices & lot of varieties to choose from.
Products good choice, price a little high for some things. Need to improve access when flooding near footpath entrance.
The quality of fresh produce has deteriorated significantly in this store since changing from MCQ to 7 Fresh about a year ago. For example the cauliflowers were mouldy today and tomatoes were so unripe that they were inedible. Its a shame because the staff are so nice and helpful.
Convenient and have most of the Asians would search for, the only concern is they don’t really keep their baskets clean so you will have to be picky in picking the basket. Unless if you’re okay with veggies in your basket from the previous customers.
A wide variety of fresh local produce and asian foods avails. However, the fridge where milk is kept should be better maintained and cleaned.
Humiliating, Unfriendly and Racist Experience
I have been visiting this shop for more than a year, almost thrice a week and do kind of window shopping of fresh fruits.
They Never return your smile, you always get that rude experience.
Today they did height for a regular customer, I picked few Mandarins as they were about to close. As usual i paid 25 cents extra for paying by card.
After I paid the bill, lady at the counter tells me you hiding Mandarin in your pocket. I took out handkerchief from my pocket and showed it to her. She was like, we check every customer. I felt so humiliating. I left my purchase there and told the lady I am not coming to this shop again.
Not a lot to choose from.
Most items were fresh food or sauces
There weren't many snacks
Good for your bucks fruit and veg market, everything else like drinks, noodles Asian snacks. Go N see for yourself, you might like it.
I really enjoy going to this place cause they have a lot of the staples and some of the Asian rarities that I sometimes have trouble finding.
Service is pretty average so if you are looking for someone your going to have to tap someone on the shoulder, so unless you have anxiety than I don't see why anyone would have a problem shopping here.
The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star is because upon occasion, I can't find things that are usually in stick everywhere else. I literally went there a day ago and I couldn't find any other mushroom but enoki and king, so I had to go to another shop to find some. Otherwise for sure a decent place so go vege and Asian snack shopping
Smaller then Morley market, but still the competitive price and open early and not to mention 4 car parks bay.
Fruit is competitively priced and quite fresh. Has a medium selection of Asian food but it's definitely more focused on fresh produce.
The design and colour attracts the people towards the shop. The owner is helpful and staff is awesome.
Consistently fresh produce and good variety of Asian products. That’s where good stuff ends. Out of 4 cashiers that I’ve encountered over the past few years, only one seems to have any customer service or desire to be there. On few occasions been overcharged, even though prices are clearly displayed in front of the product, response was: ” that was last week’s special”. Seen them using more expensive varieties of same fruit or vegetable when scanning (e.g. You may grab red potatoes at $2,5 per kg but they will charge you royal blue at $3 per kg. Same with mandarins, apples…). Poor form! If you object, prepare to be told off. Been avoiding the place, but unfortunately have to stop by from time to time since it’s on the way home and produce is fresh. Two stars for one awesome cashier and fresh produce, rest of the crew should be doing other things for living.
Nice place, the fresh produce are high quality and have a good price though the other things in the store leave much to be desired.
Good variety of Asian goods, veg and fresh produce are extremely affordable, fresh and they carry a huge range.
Really friendly staff.
Medium sized Asian supermarket with a good variety of Asian ingredients. They have a lot of fresh produce as well including the usual Asian vegetables. Staff are friendly and the store is clean. Parking is limited, but that is probably related to this store's location in Northbridge.
Good veggies place but got service by one unfriendly, unhelpful, bad customer service/ cashier girl today's morning (Tue, 11 Feb 2020). I don't suggest anyone to go there unless they replace the cashier. Thanks.
Great servicess. Staff are very helpful. They help me to take the heavy shopping bags to my car
Good quality groceries and fairly cheap, but be aware that the range is much smaller than the MCQ store in Morley
