McLeod Tours - Margaret River

We recently did the 3 day tour of Margaret River with McLeod Tours through Journey Beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide Lincoln was excellent, he was knowledgeable and full of stories. The family’s involvement in the history of the Region was insightful. It gave the tour a more personal touch. I would definitely recommend to anyone to doing this tour with this small family business. The food we had at the various stops were all excellent, the Margaret River Beach Resort were we stayed was comfortable and clean. The onsite restaurant is an excellent additional service, means you don’t have to go anywhere for food and drink.

Wonderful small personal tour groups, so well arranged quality of all accommodations dinnering arrangements was wonderful and the knowledge from the staff was brilliant. Thank you for a truly memorable experience 10/10

Mum and I returned from a 3 day Margaret River tour with McLeods today and can only say the best things about the McLeod "family".
Our main driver Lincoln ensured we had an informative, interesting and fun-filled time, even taking us for a quick visit to the McLeod family farm. Everything we did was well organised and the provided meals were excellent. We highly recommend this tour, it would be hard to find anything better.

My friend Carol and I have just had a 2 night stay in Margaret River with McLeods Tours 10-12th September 2023. It was a comprehensive tour with quality inclusions with accommodation, food and tourist attractions. It is a family run small group tour and is run like clockwork from pre-trip arrangements with Kumi to Drivers Neil and son Lincoln. They go above expectations to satisfy clients. We highly recommend this company for an enjoyable stay. We also enjoyed the friendly company of our fellow travellers.

We enjoyed every moment of our 3 days Margaret River tour with Neil. The itinerary is very well designed (beautiful scenic spots, boutique wineries with different character; and more), the service exemplary and the restaurants selected for all our meals are totally on point. We also love the happy hours at the accommodation and food there is great as well. It has been more than a week since the tour and the fond memories we made in Margaret River with Neil, Lincoln and our lovely tour companions are still very vivid in our minds. Definitely join the McLeod tours if you are visiting the region!

Went on the 3 day Margaret River tour with Neil. What a great 3 days. Neil's knowledge of the area and his story telling kept us entertained. The food and accommodation was first class. Highly recommended.

We cannot recommend this family company highly enough! Friendly tour guides with interesting local knowledge go out if their way to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your trip throughout. Small groups help to make the tours more personal and some good friends were made over a local beer or two! Tour includes a well organised, well thought out "taste" of experiences throughout the region.

We had a fantastic time on our day-long wine tour. Our guide Rusty was knowledgeable and fun, and all of the tastings and lunch were a little different and fantastic in their own way.

We sampled and saw SO much, but Neil added his personal and unique addition to the trip which we would not have experienced elsewhere.

Have just completed a wonderful 3 day, 2 night tour of the Margaret River region, and we were lucky to have the incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining Neil McLeod as our guide. Excellent food, beautiful scenery, delicious wine! All tied together by an entertaining and insightful commentary by our host Neil. Can't recommend this tour highly enough.

We joined the 3 day / 2 nights tour and had a lovely time. Rusty was such a knowledgeable and caring guide, making sure evryone was happy and looked after. Bonus: he took us to a few places to find some wildflowers and always knew the name of all plants we pointed at.

We had the pleasure of doing the three day Margaret River Indulgence tour with McLeod Tours three weeks ago, prior to our Indian Pacific train trip. Neil McLeod led the tour. His knowledge of the area is without parallel. The tour was paced really well so that we were never too tired. As well, Neil's life experiences and anecdotes were so interesting. He's had a fabulous life. We've done lots of tours overseas and this one was the best and most professionally organised that we've undertaken. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend. Our small group of six were treated to an outstanding tour of the region for three days. We enjoyed the scenery, accomodation, transport, local produce, and of course the excellent wines. Being in the hands of Neil Mc leod, he grew up in the Margaret River district, we were treated to the best tour. Not only is he a special guide he is a wonderfull storyteller. He has travelled the world and worked in the kimberlys, and other major towns on the west coast. Best day ever! Can't recommend anymore highly!

Lincoln was great and we got to experience one of the best tours I have taken part in.

Absolutely great full day Food and Wine tour. Lincoln was extremely knowledgeable, local and very personable. So many lovely wines tasted at Redgate and Fermoy in particular. Black Brewery very picturesque for a very nice tasting lunch. Throw in the cheese, chocolate, oils, coffee places a great well paced easy day.

We enjoyed a wonderful full day tour operated by Lincoln. It felt very customised to the McLeod families favourite locations from their home town. Lincoln really accomodated the needs of different interests of the people on the tour, making sure everyone had a great time. Definately reccomend this tour if you are comparing Swan Valley providers! Also if you are staying for a week in Margs, start with this tour. Lincoln gave so much other inspiration for the area, and we can't wait to come back again!

Just the best all round tour to experience everything in Margaret River! Neil is full of knowledge and kept us all laughing! Cant wait to share the experience again! Thanks to Mcleods for all your hard work!
