McDonald's Hay Street East

Last night, I only got lettuce and tomato when I ordered a big mac. No patty OR bun. JUST lettuce and tomato. Anyways, tonight, I ordered my sister a customised one with patty, lettuce, cheese, tomato. She got patty, lettuce, tomato, THREE slices of cheese, mayonnaise, onion, and ketchup. Our drinks were all over the place, as they were dripping down the cup. Keep in mind that the drinks were completely wrong. DON'T GO HERE.

Most of the staff at nights shifts don't know the difference between flat white and cappuccino coffee and make worst coffee on top of it they are super slow!
Had that experience many time.

I wanted to give 1 star rating, but I gave 2 because of a nice and respectful girl who works there. Most of the staff is ignorant and dumm. I waited there to order food and I couldn't imagine no body acknowledged me even for 5 minutes. It ruins your business when you ignore customers. Your boss is an idiot who hired ride ppl like you.

Regular visitor as its in convenient location and always clean. Good sitting area and nice view of Town hall and street across with people walking across.

Business seem to get alot of street drop in sometimes bit slower at night due to less staff, but I received my meal in less 10mins

Order on uber eats was good btw for ppl wanting to know maccers has recently slashed it quater pounder it resembles more like a cheeseburger size now very disppointing but the food was nice

Not impressed orderd meal was asked to leave thus is just after cov19 restrictions lifted no explanation as to why
Sometimes there machines don't work makes it hard to order

Staff are friendly however some of them. Don't know what they're doing

I ordered a meal and instead of the drink i want a dessert
The young girl says they cannot do that.

Thats untrue because ive been going to McDonald's and i always replace the soft drink for a frappe or mcflurry

Another time i wanted a vegetarian burger and because it was morning i couldn't order it. Until 10.30 Wich to me is ridiculous
Then the girl mentioned i can only order it at 1.30 Wich is false and i. Corrected her.

I. Just walked out because they don't have vegetarian vegan options.

Nothing to complain about, nothing to brag about. Its just Maccas. I was hungry and it was cheap.

All the tables were dirty with trash left on them it was hard to find a clean table to sit, when the food arrived the bottom bun of one burger was soaked in a pool of grease and both of the burgers were all over really greasy.

Food was mediocre, had to wait way too long for it and the male toilets were absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my entire life I almost threw up.

Fish fillet tasted good. It would have been better if customer service staff has courtesy. They are beginning to behave worst than robots serving because robots still say thank you and enjoy your meal.

Service & food excellent but not impressed that there was no blue lights to deter drug use in toilets. A girl very obviously injected before coming back out & disrupting the restaurant afterwards. Could see the fresh injection mark in her arm. Very sad and felt bad for staff. Blue lights should be mandatory for all city fast food stores.

Not everybody can master the culinary art of the fillet of fish but McDonald's Hay Street East have excelled themselves. Sauce to bun ratio, divine. Extra pickle? Take five. Well done to the Artist that made my sandwich their own. Our serveur Paris was simply a delight and the down lighting was just beautiful

It reminded my why i never buy McDonald's, it was the worst takeaway food i have ever purchased, horrible greasy gelatinous rubbish, it never gets any better.

Location is good. I gave 1 star because the outlet did not promised as what they said. It stated that the restaurant operates 24 hours. I was there on 17 Dec 3.20am to buy a burger as I was staying at QT hotel. Unfortunately, one male staff said they were closed and he was seen mopping the floor. Please change your timing and do not state that you operate 24 hours if you are not actually.

Average like maccas always is. But told a bit rudely I have only 10 minutes to eat my meal was a bit rough.

Went back on 16th of October after my evening shift. All good until I got home and realise their was no monopoly card on my burgers.
My daughter love this game and was very upset and desapointed

I ordered thru the machine and the people delivered exactly what was ordered. No newspaper to read but I'm not sure I'd trust a public newspaper after a few hours in maccas, so that's just me. Foodwise, a solid McDonald good work keep it up

Amazing place to eat at! Saturday night is VERY busy yet the staff (6 at the time) were able to keep up with the customers! I was worried I would get my meal in 20 minutes considering the piling orders; I got it in 5mins! That's great management for you.

I am impressed by the quality of the meal too! Nicely made and no missing items!
