McDonald's Harrisdale

The good:
- Great location

The challenge:
- Do not hesitate to mention that you need your food made fresh. They’re not as cheap as they once used to be. We deserve this when we pay a bit higher.

The bad:
- Service can be flat at times.

The bad:

Ordered drive through drinks, first off m&ms mc flurry then she lady said they don’t have them vanilla only chocolate, then a frozen coke to be told that isn’t available either, then mum and I ordered a iced coffee frappe and iced chocolate frappe to be told at the window is our order right and wasn’t even close to what we ordered as the lady changed them to an iced chocolate and coffee as ALL thier machines were not working. Seriously this is awful and poor service step up your game McDonald’s.

Asked for onions in my cheese burger didn’t get them nor a pickle. Waited 10 minutes for 3 burgers in drive through with no one in front of us an to get 3 mediocre burgers. Piss poor

Would give 0 if I can. It took 1 and half hour to get 2 chips, 1 cheese burger and 3 sundae ready at 9pm, what a joke! The chips are burnt and dried out, sundae are melted.

The service is too bad. I saw that manager was scolding their employees. The employees were school students.

Took more than the expected time to get our coffee.

Ordered meal asked for coke zero also no salt lady at desk said no probs a little longer wait for fries meal came with salt on fatty sugar coke also no ice this almost happens in every mcdonalds HOW HARD IS IT also even when i get coke zero the button on lid is not pressed so i know it is coke zero and tried ringing to tell them no answer same as all other stores people should boycott mcdonalds see how they go with no customers the stuff is cardboard anyway

There was a boy named tristan wibowo he was a really good worker he was making nuggets and they were Awesome like probably the best nuggets I've had in a while but i haven't seen him working on the nuggets in a while

Placed an uber order at 2am, driver waited upwards of 50 mins at the store for the order and when the food arrived my chicken was tough and cold, and my fries were inedible rock hard and cold, and my cheeseburger had no sauce at all (i swapped ketchup and mustard for bbq amd mayo) and the bacon was a hard and tough cold piece of leather.

How hard is it to cook fresh fries, chicken, and bacon when you've got an order there for close to an hour?

Restaurant is not actually open 24 hours. They close (open but aren't taking orders?) Between 1: 30 and 2.30 every morning for "system" updates. I understand that you need to do this but need a better system so people don't have to drive to a different location after getting to their home suburb just to get dinner after a long shift at work.

This Mc D due to its close location to schools is favourite by students.
Those students many times make the dining area dirty with leftover, chips, tissues you name it. And the staffs are focusing on serving the customer.
It is recommended to have a casual cleaner on peak hours.

As one does I usually feel a sense of self hatred after ordering another McDonald’s meal at close to midnight but right now my hatred is only towards the person who made my order you forget sauce in a 10 pack of nuggets, I have to eat nuggets that are drier then your dms, and you forget my apple pie the bread and butter to me being able to have a drop of serotonin, I hope you get in bed tonight and feeling nothing but crumbs in it, I hope your pillow is hot on both sides and the bottom of your bed is freezing cold, I hope you wave back at people and realise they weren’t waving at you, I hope the love you receive is just as lukewarm as the meal you heedlessly prepared for me, if this was my last meal I’d look forward to what was coming afterwards

Seriously didn’t know how hard it is to receive your correct takeaway order until I went to this maccas. I pray for the staff IQ

Have never had a good meal from here. Always cold, missing items and stale tasting, bread hard, wilted lettuce minimal sauce. The chip oil has probably never be changed as the chips taste rank. I will always give a place a few retrys but never again. How can food that is cooked "fresh" be cold? And stale?
The management really needs to have a good look at what is going on because this place is below par for McDonald's standards. Very Disappointing.

Every single time we come to this McDonalds, there is always an issue with our order; whether it be missing items or incorrectly following the grill slip, or making the wrong coffee. It just seems like you can never get what you ordered and paid for.

I have been to many MacDonald's, in many countries, over many years, but this one is easily the worst. I have used it maybe 3 times over the past month, and every time they screw it up. No ketchup, 2 non-sparkling waters instead of one sparkling, no butter etc etc etc. The service is equally bad drive through as it is dine in. Today I arrived at 0717 to order a hot cross bun and a coffee. Placed the order at the self serve kiosk, went to the counter and waited, and waited.the kitchen is chaos. Lots of staff, so numbers aren't the problem. It looks like lack of training and leadership. Staff are goofing around sticking stickers on each other's backs and faces etc, one of them has a half drank drink sitting on the counter beside the coffee machine. There are 3 people working the coffee machine (that's right, 3!), I am the only person in the restaurant (literally, I checked), and the drive through is getting the odd car through (it's early on a public holiday, no body is out). I am standing at the counter on my own, waiting for my order. After 10 minutes I ask a passing staff member where my order is, and point out it's been 10 minutes and I'm their only customer. She says sorry and the order arrives shortly after. I heard the girl informing the young manager girl, but she barely acknowledged it, just walked past. This is the problem at this MacDonald's, no leadership and weak management. As long as that is allowed to continue, change will not be forthcoming. Training, training, training! That includes your young managers. Invest in them and it will pay dividends.

I don’t eat McDonald’s very often, sort of once a month. However every time I ordered takeaway from harrisdale, there was always some items missing! Yep, EVERY TIME! I called customer service, they apologized and told me to go back pick the item. But who gonna pay for my bad mood, time cost and patrol money? !

Great store, better than most, especially southern river.come here very often never had a problem, food always comes out quickly while also fresh, even with big orders, dining room is my favourite out of any other maccas.staff seem friendly and always see managers working in the kitchen with the regular crew.

Good Maccas, playground is good for the kids. The orders are fresh and correct and inside restaurant is nice and big

Ordered a flat white and it was barely luke warm and just tasted like milk with a tiny drop of caffeine! Might as well of ordered an iced Latte! The hash Brown was also barely warm and had obviously been sitting around for awhile too. Very disappointing indeed. Especially when I get excited to be able to grab a really nice coffee and it's just a big fat waste of money!

The service depends on the team working at that time. Most times the food is fresh in the peak hours, non peak, you got to request them for fresh patty.
