I was in the area shopping and a gentleman flagged me down to tell me that there was something trailing under my car. I was worried that whatever it was would be lost on my 20-minute drive home. I stopped into McCoy St Auto repairs and asked if they could have a quick look to see what it was and if it could be rectified for my drive home. Such lovely people who kindly fixed the issue on the spot. I think this is the benefit of using small businesses who genuinely care and rely on a positive customer experience. I brought my car in to have the alternator replaced. The team got it done on short notice when I was in a tight spot. I noticed an oil leak a couple of weeks later, from the alternator. I took it back in, turned out to be a manufacturer fault with the alternator. The owner worked hard to fix the fault and even though he is not eligible for any compensation from the manufacturer, he still did not charge me for labour and was very kind throughout the process. Really nice people!

Dave and his wife have nailed customer service. I took my Patrol in for repair. He explained what they did and potential future repairs. The service plan the have is excellent. Small monthly fee to cover the cost of servicing. I’ve got my P-plater on this so I don’t have to pay! Repeat customer.

I have been taking my car here for years, its been a 10 out of 10 experience every time. Dave really goes above and beyond. Highly recommend for service and peace of mind.

Dave was very flexible when my car was delayed in getting to the shop and kept me updated while it was being repaired - highly recommend.

I took my trailer there, and Dave had a look at it, but because he was booked up he kindly referred to a mechanic who was able to fix it over the weekend. He was very helpful and apologetic that he could not fix it due to his workload. Highly recommend him.

Met the owner of the business today, was really nice and checked over my car.
The owner went through and diagnosed it on the spot, provided many options from best for the car to best for the wallet while providing solid advice.

I'm no mechanic but I have got my hands rather dirty fixing this car up and he seemed to pick up my knowledge level quickly and provided you good explanations on how things work.

Would highly recommend recommend this company for all your car serving and repair needs. David went above and beyond with an issue I had with my 4 wheel drive, he was able to do an honest job at a very reasonable price whilst updating me along the way on his wonderful work.
