Mayur Indian Restaurant

The food was wonderful especially the Goat Curry and Gulab Jamun (chef's special), authentic taste with a flavour of Malwa, a region in India famous for its food and hospitality. Will definitely be visiting again.

Bad quality of curries, with stale meat. Chef was unhappy and claimed 30 year’s experience when returned. I was shocked the owner was so arrogant.

The food at Mayur is absolutely delicious always.
If you love Indian cuisine at it's best then you simply must dine here.
The lamb biryani is to die for and don't even get me started about how good the garlic nan is, actually everything we have eaten here is top quality and excellent.
Wonderful staff and an extremely talented chef.

Butter chicken sauce was like tomato soup with vinegar, no creaminess at all, chicken was tender, but it was just cubes of it swimming in the thin sauce. Onion bhajis crisp, but incredibly salty. Bit meh really. Cooked my own rice and parathas at home to accompany, glad I did, because just chicken and bhajis were $30.

Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. This despite two people calling in sick and our serving lady did a spectacular job and was doubling as a kitchen hand also!

Mayur is the best restaurant. Best customer service and staff is very friendly. Food is very delicious. I have tried their tandoori mushrooms first time, those melt in mouth. I always order food from Mayur, never regrets. I always recommend this restaurant to all my friends they also appreciate about their food.

Disappointed. Normally a 5 out of 5 as previously reviewed but was pretty bad this time. Chips were dead burnt to a crisp and curry very watery. Hoping its an off night. Will try one more time to give benefit of the doubt.

Delicious, authentic flavours and fairly priced Indian dishes here. I feel grateful that this restaurant exists, and since I've moved away from this area, I make a point of grabbing a few curries every time I'm nearby after 5pm, when it opens.

Soooo disappointed with our food tonight we ordered Palak Paneer it was flooded with oil literally. This dish doesn't require more then 1 tablespoon of oil to cook the whole lot.
I fail to understand how does the chef doesn't realize whilst packing the curry as the container is even dripping with oil. Such a shame you can't even serve basic Indian curry correctly.

The young guy at the front counter named Joshua is adorable, so sweet and polite! I was really impressed by him… The food here is cheap and tasty, I’ve bought from here a few times now and I’ve not been disappointed any time I’ve ordered food with them

Shocking service. Ordered my food, waited 45 mins and after waiting that long they tell me they don't deliver to my suburb which is 8 minutes away, I offered to pick the food up and they then tell me they didn't bother to make the order but still charged my card!

A real let down tonight!
We’ve had take outs & eaten in quite a few times With no dramas.
Tonight the food was very ordinary & the service was a waste of time. Very poor & won’t bother going back especially the price of it.

Awful.

Wanted a Mushroom Vindaloo but they won't make 'special orders'. Said they had a Mushroom Madras which I went for instead. When I got home and unpacked the 'Madras' it was nothing like a Madras. It was more like an oily (and I mean really oily) Korma. No flavour, no heat, and horrible slimy texture.

No Pilau rice so they suggested the Saffron rice but that was just basically boiled rice. I guess the garlic Nan was OK.

Quite possibly the worst Curry I've ever had in Perth.

Just phoned to make an order and the phone line was bad. I was speaking normally, pausing after each item to make sure the man who answered understood me and he said “Hurry up with your order, there’s people waiting”. I continued ordering (not slowly) and he repeated it again a few times so I hung up. How rude and disappointing. The women I’ve dealt with over the years have been lovely but after this you’ve lost my custom and money

The 2 Naan breads delivered by Uber Eats with my order were totally hard and dried out. When I phoned to advise them of this they said it's not possible. I'm furious and will never order from them again. I used to eat here regularly but it's obviously gone downhill and they don't care about their customers.

Gave Mayur another go tonight after 2 years. Wow! Things have certainly changed. The curry was flavourful, the onion bhaji was perfect, the naan was good. Wait times were quicker than expected. Mayur you have outdone yourselves! You should be very proud. Highly recommend.

We love this place for take always. Aloo Gobi is awesome and tonight we tried Chicken Tikka Masala - best we have ever had.

Excellent service, 20 mins after ordering and it was ready to pick up.

Tasted fresh, flavoursome and can’t stop eating it!

Ordered online and the order was available at the exact time. Could not fault the food. Samosas fat and delicious (and spicy). Butter chicken was great. My goat curry delicious but the medium is very spicy. Very happy to come again.

Twice now I have ordered from here and been told 50 minutes. Both times have taken over 90 minutes, last night was nearly 2 hours!
The order taker can barely speak English.
Very frustrating, no consideration for people's time.
But damn, they make a bloody good korma
