May Drive Parkland reviews
45Fantastic park to spend whole day with family with lots of options to do, great picnic spot, kids friendly, spacious playground with green grasses loved a cup of coffee from Zamia cafe which is inside the park premises
Awesome Parkland for kids & adults. Its a huge open space with incredible/amazing playgrounds including Dinosaur sculptures. Great to bring the kids down for a play whilst you know they will be entertained whilst you can sit back, relax and enjoy this beautiful tranquil Parkland. It is adjacent to the Zamia Cafe and Lycopod Island.
This is a playground paradise for children and parents. Plenty of green lawn spaces, adventurous playgrounds, huge lake, interesting stone dinosaur statues that children can climb over, very nice cafe.
A magical parkland.
Gorgeous gorgeous picnic place or for family gatherings. Lots of green, plenty of play equipment, trees for shade, and a tea room for food and drink. Great area to hold amy type of events too. Toilets available.
May drive Parkland got something for everyone for the kids to explore and play. Beautiful little lake with little island in the middle with playground for the kids. Learn about the dinosaurs, with all the different statues and info on them. Nice restaurant to have a bite and a beverage. It's just a lovely place to visit and relax.
The director of Dinofest (Laurence Taylor who is from New Zealand) is running a Dinofest for families at Mayland Drive Parkland, Kings Park, Perth. He also organised this in Adelaide in April 2023 at the Botanic Gardens and contracted my entertainment services to supply the artists along with many other facets I had organised for him.
After 2 weeks he breached contract and dealt direct with the artists.
He owes my company alot of money for my entertainment services in Adelaide of this year 2023. He's been served notice via the courts SA due to breaching the contract. Papers posted to Bonus Eventum as per ASIC. Name is noted as (Anca Cernic in Hornsby).
He does not have an Australian citizenship therefore operating under a different name I believe as per above.
Dishonest businessman. Be warned doing business dealings with him. Pay up or see you in court Mr Taylor! You should honour your commitments. Very cunning and sociopathic behaviour. Other people/companies/organisations have been advised. He has also flown over my staff to support his Perth venture that I supplied. Lindi Jane, Anthony Santin, Jimmy) all dishonest and breached my contract with them also.
Never been before, it's a great little park.although needs more for 2/4 yr Olds as it's catered more for older children. Dinosaurs were cool. Need a huge diplodocus in the middle of the lake that would look awesome and a few more huge Breasts around! Nice to have a decent Cafe too.
Many trees providing large shade
Interesting, adventurous and fun for kids and adults as well
Well maintained
Beautiful spot for a catch up. They play park is huge and lots of fun for the little ones. Just be careful of the big lake.
There are toilets, BBQs and bins all in great order
Watch out for the Cookaburras stealing your snags
Parking can be an issue of a busy day so be prepared to wait or park further away and walk in.
Very beautiful and well-equipted Park. Ideal for families and friends, different ages children.
So serene & calming yet still a great, safe place for children. Well designed & thought out spaces. So well designed one forgets King's Park is in the centre of Perth CityVery pleasant way to spend a morning or afternoon. Just chilling.or playing with the children. Educationaltoo. All the plants& treeshave signs giving their name, history & use/s.
This is great because there is a cafe, and a playground and lots of space. You will probably have a good night's sleep afterwards.
Great, green, relaxing place. Went to check out the native local plant display. Cafe, lake with bridge to playground on a central island, a large timber walk bridge and slides for kids. Walk through to the renowned DNA tower.
Great park, Cafe to get food or BBQ to use lots of areas.to sit and have picnic and toilets there also. Great playgrounds and dinosaura to explore.
This parkland and playground was fantastic, one of the best I've been to in a while!
Beautiful native shady trees, massive lawn areas, brilliant nature play with swings, slides a windy walk, a shallow lake as well as four massive native Australian dinosaur statues around the grounds too.
BBQs, toilets, a cafe nearby and waste/recycling bins too.
This place is excellent for all ages, but the knee deep lake isn't fenced off so those with toddlers have to keep a close eye (which as parents we should be doing anyway).
Loved it!
My favourite part of Kings Park. Zamia Cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Staff are friendly and professional. Food is cooked in-house and is always nice.
One of the best parks to spend the day out as a family. Kids have the best time here. Beautifully landscaped gardens, bbq's, toilets and cafe's, lots of grassed areas to play games and kick the footy, definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend. I've been coming here for over 30 years and will continue returning to this magnificent place.
Beautiful park with climbable sculptures, a big swing set, lovely lake with ducks, and a great cafe. Well worth a visit, especially when the weather is fine.
Lovely place for a family picnic nice green lawns plenty of shade and if you have young kiddies huge playground for them also
A great place to run around with interesting spaces to explore, including bridges to the island. Wheelchair friendly. Toilets, restaurant, take away food, bbqs, tables, seating etc. Dinasaurs, and fascinating historical info to climb on or read about. Well worth a visit. Big areas for large groups. No shelter from rain. Only one pavilion at the Vietnam Vetrans Memorial and the restaurant. Designed for children 7 and older (the sign says this) but plenty of younger ones there having a great time. Nana enjoyed it too. No pets. ACROD parking behind restaurant.
