Maven Dental Subiaco

Dr. Alex Pham and the dental nurse who assisted him are amazing. I received the gentlest, most stress free dental experience I’ve had to date thanks to them. The only reason I give three stars is because of how this great experience was dampened by what is probably one of the worst receptionists I’ve ever come across. I work for a medical practice and am familiar with the work load that is placed on these people but her rudeness, sarcasm, and blatant disregard for patient experience is unwarranted. This occurred more than once—both on phone conversations and in person. To give context, one of the conversations was about moving my appointment because they “didn’t do Saturdays anymore due to ‘staffing issues’” (which I didn’t need to be told in my opinion). To add to this dilemma, she couldn’t book me with my preferred dentist because they didn’t work the days I was free. It was to MY inconvenience, not hers, but the receptionist was rude, sounded annoyed, and far from accommodating throughout our whole conversation.

I don’t usually post reviews but this implored me to write one. Hopefully Maven Dental Subiaco hears this out and does a performance management on this staff member—they are the first point of call after all. It goes without saying that patience and people skills is a requirement for this job.

I’ve been to a few dentists over the years but have never been as happy as I am with Charles. I hope he’s going to be there a long time because I don’t want to go anywhere else now. He’s a talented young dentist with a wise head and a relaxed manner which puts you very much at ease. The whole place is good actually - they make you welcome and genuinely care about you. My most recent visit was for a clean which was performed by the lovely Mira who took the time to make it a really pleasant experience. I actually enjoy going to the dentist for the first time in my life (!) Bravo guys, you’re doing a great job.

Our family of four recently visited Dr Charlie Angliss who was brilliant with our kids - warm, relaxed and adaptable - we all had a great experience. Highly recommend!

Worst dental practice ever. Can't trust their booking system. I booked an appointment online and a confirmation was send that I replied Y to and when I arrived on the day. They said I wasn't booked in and there wasn't any other slots available until next year. I showed them the confirmation and all they could do was to try to rebook me and blame head office. I was also on their system. It appears to me that someone removed me and put their "preferred" patient.

My entire bloodline goes to Maven Dental Subiaco. We are extremely happy to entrust our smiles to only the best Dentist & support staff in Australia. No unnecessary procedures performed. Why go anywhere else? Your worth it!

I was treated by Charles and his Dental Assistant Shevon. I recently switched to Maven Dental Subiaco as I found that they offered competitive pricing and honest recommendations.

The equipment and room look professional, modern and high-quality, and the rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming.

I will continue to see Charles and his team for my regular check-ups!

Charles Angliss is an amazing dentist (literally saved my teeth from falling because of an advanced gum infection) and very caring respectful person. We're going there all the family. Charles was keeping an eye and taking care of my partner's buccal hygiene whilste he was undergoing chemo: he's very gentle. He has great tricks for babies and young kids too! And soon our toddler will show his nice teeth to Charles. The clinic is very clean and well-equiped (modern equipment). Charles has been our dentist for the last years (10 years if I'm right) and we are highly recommeding him!

When Alan went away for an extended holiday he left me in the capable hands of Dr Charles Angliss. As my dental needs became quite regular and Alan was reducing his hours I became Charles' patient. Both Dentists have been amazing and I have never been so looked after so well. All the staff at Maven Dental have been amazingly kind.

I attended Maven Dental in Subiaco on Aug 10. Charles provided excellent care. He was organised, personable and very proficient at his craft. I had two fillings replaced and happily recommend the practice.

Maven dental, what an exceptional dental experience. I was treated by Dr Natasha Lambasa who I would highly recommend, she is very warm and friendly and puts you at ease as soon as she greets you, explains all treatment options in full detail. Very gental and pain free positive dental experience.
Staff are very bubbly and informative, wouldn't go anywhere else. A+

Charles is an amazing dentist, he did a great job on my teeth, he is very friendly and professional, highly recommend his services.

I have been to this dentists and found it completely professional and everyone was very polite.

Just had treatment the staff is amazing. I didn't experience any pain. Will totally recommend this place.
