Everything and everyone that attended to me was great and will book those same people again. I definitely saw an improvement in service and quality from previous visits. My cut was exactly the opposite of what I specifically asked for! I was very specific in stating I did NOT want to leave the salon looking like I had a man’s haircut. It is hideously short and the colour was striped at the back after the haircut.
Never again!

The crew are very welcoming & professional. I have dark asian hair & these ladies did a wonderful job with the balayage on my virgin hair. I claimed that hubby wasn't 100% happy with the 1st attempt & they offered a complementary color correction with no further question asked. From entering the salon I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist.
Mike (stylist) is wonderful. He listens to what I want done with my hair and has useful suggestions. He is always so pleasant and polite and nothing is too much trouble. An asset to your salon.

Every moment of my appointment today was wonderful. My hair is absolutely perfect thanks to a very talented team who made me feel welcome from the minute I walked through the door to the minute I left. Nothing went overtime but nothing felt hurried and my colour and style request unfolded to perfection. Thank you Nicola, Dali and staff at Karrinyup, I love my new hair.

Dali listened to what I wanted and made good suggestions, that only proved his knowledge & experience. Conversation was pleasant & friendly. My haircut was exactly what I wanted, I love it!

The colourist, who’s name I’m sorry I didn’t get was excellent, understood what I was trying to achieve.

Ricardo, who styled my hair, really knew my type of hair, he also made suggestions for a cut, next time I visit.

I also didn’t feel like I was pushed into buying products this time, which made me feel like making a purchase, which I did.

Meet and greet on arrival was also quick and friendly

Nicola did my hair for a 1920’s theme party and it looked so unreal!
The best part about it was she was making up the technique as she went, which sometimes us customers really need to let them as hair stylist because when we don’t keep micromanaging their craft, they can literally work magic.

The lady with Brunette hair is the reference image I provided.

Thank you again Nicola… you are a master of your craft and I recommend her for any vintage styles. Definitely coming back to torture the staff with my next difficult up-do request!

Unfortunately my cut was terrible, and colour off mark. Now having to be fixed up by another salon costing hundreds of dollars. I'm devastated. The other salon couldn't believe the poor quality cut, he was speechless. The foils have left my hair orange. Having to have it toned twice again then a full colour strip before starting again. Awful experience. Upset.

From the moment I walked into the store, I was welcomed by name and treated like a princess.
Jasmin took the time to learn what I wanted with my hair and my end goal. She did my colour & cut perfectly and then styled it to perfection. SO happy!

Gray coverage was terrible, still a lot gray remaining. Application of colour was slapped on fast with little effort. The experience in salon itself was also poor, I had to ask 3 times for a drink of water and coffee only received it 70 minimum after arriving and about to have blow dry. Products recommended were not the usual ones and have left my scalp flaky. After coming to salon for a couple of years, I will definitely not be returning and wasting my time and money.

The best and most professional hair salon I know is Maurice Meade Karrinyup. I leave feeling like a million dollars because I know they have done their utmost to make me look my best.
