When looking for celebrant, I didn’t really know they could do more than just the traditional “do you take this man … in sickness and health”. So to my surprise, when Josh said he was able to make the ceremony unique, fun and lighthearted it was refreshing. I was quite anxious leading up to the wedding yet every encounter with Josh bought me a lot of ease. On the day he was amazing. There were tears, there were laughs and I am immensely grateful to Josh for being there for me. Thank you. P.s don’t think twice just book him you won’t regret it!

From start to finish Josh was absolutely amazing! He had us with his humor and laid back attitude in our first zoom chat and we thought, that is exactly what we are after. All we wanted was a fun, laid back, chilled ceremony (just like my husband and I) and wow did he deliver.

He had the guests laughing before I had even walked down the aisle. We opted not to do personal vows but he added in just enough about us to make it personal enough for the boat of us. We left it all up to him and had no idea what would come out of it, and that was the best decision we made!

He was also our DJ & MC. To keep it simple, he nailed it! Played all the right music, he kept the dancefloor pumping all night.
Easy to say, our guests loved having him as a part of our day just as much as we did!

We had Josh as our celebrant in November of last year and he was absolutely exceptional. If you are undecided whether or not to splurge on your celebrant, this is your sign to do so!

From the moment that we met with Josh via Zoom, we knew instantly that he was the right fit for us and that he would give us a fun, lighthearted and unique ceremony. On the day, he exceeded any expectations that we had. We were both so relaxed during the ceremony, which allowed us to both laugh and cry several times. Our guests also really enjoyed all of the personal touches and the engaging activities he did throughout the ceremony.

We have zero regrets choosing Josh to be our celebrant. The ceremony is one of my favourite parts to think back on of our wedding, thanks to him. Highly, highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to have Josh not only be our celebrant, but also our MC and DJ for the evening. This made the whole process as easy as it could be and run without a hitch.

Josh’s approach towards the ceremony was not only great for us as newlyweds to be, but his engagement with guests ensured they were relaxed and ready for a fun afternoon and evening.

From our initial meeting online, to our catch ups at the pub to talk over details, he made us feel at ease and comfortable with the whole process.

Josh has great sense of humour, which reflects in his ceremony, and he keeps a few fun surprises for everyone on the day.

His DJ work was perfect for us, we were allowed to pick and choose what were must haves and have nots, the rest we left up to him to keep the party going (which he did with ease).

Josh’s whole attitude towards the day keeps everything running smoothly, whether it was helping the bride when she had a dress crisis or checking in and making sure we were happy.

We knew Josh was going to be good from his reviews but he was more lovely, charismatic and profession than we would have ever expected.

Our worst fear was a stale, boring ceremony and we Josh was the exact opposite of that. Our ceremony had just the right amount of humor and sentiment. I love that he put in so much effort to get to know us and give us a tailored ceremony on the day.

Each time we spoke with Josh we knew we had nothing to worry about. Nothing was too much trouble and it was such a weight off our shoulder amongst the wedding planning chaos.

Josh was the perfect choice! We knew we wanted someone who was fun and didn’t bore people with too much of the serious side of things. Josh brought the energy, made our ceremony so much fun and included our guests in such a fun way. When looking for a celebrant Josh made it super easy for us because not only was he the vibe we were after, he had a video of previous work he had done which made things so much easier for us to know he was the vibe we were after. Most of the time you could only go off a blurb of other celebrants which makes it hard to envision for your big day. Josh really is the best in the business!

Josh was our celebrant on sep 24th. What an incredible experience! The personalised touches he so effortlessly added to our special day were far beyond what we ever could have imagined! Marriage is such an intimate and unique event for any couple but for us it was made into a day we will truly never forget. Josh put in an enormous amount of effort to get to know who we are and also to know how special our family and friends are to us. He delivered a ceremony that was absolutely perfect in every way. He made us feel totally comfortable to share our deepest emotions by creating an atmosphere that was relaxed and fun and most importantly filled with love. Josh, you have a beautiful way of bringing out the very best in people and honestly made our day so very precious and representative of who we both are. There are not enough kind things we can say about Josh and how amazing he was! From our very first email he was kinda, easy to understand and so extremely helpful. He worked SO hard to make our wedding day stress free and continues to provide us on going support for all the legal bits! Everyone at our ceremony was telling us how lovely Josh was. It’s going to be tough to put into words just how amazing Josh was as our officiant. We first connected with Josh in 2019, in preparation for our May 2020 wedding date. A wedding that would be postponed several times due to the border closures and us being an Australian-American long-distance couple. But through all this Josh was both reassuring and helpful.
After my long-awaited arrival to Perth, we met with Josh and picked a date for a small ‘surprise’ wedding in the park. And from there I really started to see just how lucky we were to have him on our team. He is very organized, invested and caring about our special day. He was very helpful in the great challenge of writing vows and his experience really showed with his anticipation of our wants and the image we had for the ceremony.
On the big day he was there early, helped with set up and socialized with guests as both bride and I were a bit nervous as everyone was arriving. And then it was time for the ceremony, where Josh had the perfect words. He was masterful with the mic and music and where to stand to give the best photos, all of this while keeping things relaxed and fun. We had so many compliments on what a wonderful job he did, and most people thought he was an old friend with how he was able to tell our story.

The perfect person to marry David and I. Josh puts his own unique spin on ceremonies, he really adds a bit of quirk and laughter when it is needed. The process from initial meet up to post our big day Josh was always there if we had questions or needed help. He handles all the legal stuff so we didn’t have rush around post our wedding. His laid back, relaxed nature really makes you feel like a mate marrying you and not a ‘celebrant’. Your ceremony is your creative license to Josh and we loved being able to customise our ceremony to suit us…. Meat raffle and all. Can’t recommended this dude more!

Josh was absolutely amazing! We engaged Josh to be our celebrant and DJ for our big day and at the last minute he also stepped into being our MC. When we first caught up with Josh, he immediately made us feel comfortable and it was like we’d been friends for years. During Covid, josh was patient with us postponing, and our disappointment when family and friends couldn’t make it. He uplifted our spirits and made the day so much better. I’ve had so many compliments from guests who have said he was the best celebrant they’ve seen. Can’t recommend enough!

I don't even know where to begin praising Josh, there were so many amazing things about him, our day was absolutely wonderful. Josh is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. He makes you feel like you're being married by a friend, so many of our guests asked how we knew Josh as he was just so generous and invested in our day. He even drove out to us during photos to bring me my veil as we'd left it behind at the venue. He also managed our messy speech schedule like an absolute champion. If you're looking for a one stop marriage and entertainment stop he'll be marrying you one minute then kicking off the party as a DJ the next. Our families have all taken down his contact info to recommend him to any upcoming newly weds. We've been told by our guests that our wedding ceremony was unlike any they'd been to and couldn't believe how much fun they had during it. Everything is tailored specifically to you as a couple and Josh makes sure your personalities shine. If we ever renew our vows we'll be calling Josh again. He's progressive and creative and whole heartedly deserves the title of good vibes guru.
