Stood at the service window for quite a while but the food did arrived in good time and was tasty pub fare

Great public golf course, fairly easy to play, easy to find balls off the fairway and good cheap rates mid week

Quite a difficult course, with bowl type greens, that make the short par 4's difficult.

It's interesting how course designers can make a course difficult by simply making the greens smaller, and making it 'dead' if you go long.

Anyway.

The staff at the pro shop are great, as are the staff behind the bar and in the restaurant.

Try the chill prawns fettuccine.

It's a steal at $27.

Great for newer players as you can find errant balls easily. Staff are friendly and encourage a relaxed atmosphere. Being new to the game I find this course less stressful and allows me to focus on my game.

Decent course to play, more suited to beginner players as you often find yourself waiting for larger groups just out there to have a hit and a few drinks
Fairways and greens could use a bit of tlc but overall an enjoyable course to play casually

Hidden away, beautiful gardens surrounded by. Only passed by for a quick drink. I'm sure golfing ️ would be the best way to go.

Worst customer service I've come across in a long time. Very dingy and dated building, looks like it's not been touched since the 80's. Kind of cool if you're into that though I suppose. Food has been very disappointing too. I used to call in a bit when driving past on Thomas Road but will not be attending again and strongly advise others spare themselves of the experience too.

My original post on this site related to the golf course but I have been advised this site only relates to the tavern. For this reason I am amending my rating to 5 stars as we did go to the tavern after golf for lunch and a couple of beers. The food and service were both excellent.

Fairways aren’t bad but the greens and tee-offs are patchy and need work done.
And then you get the grumpy guy in the shop. Doesn’t make you want to play there ever again.

It's It's OK course. Could do with a bit more maintenance. A lot of the greens and fairways are a mess

Worst golf course I’ve been to. Horribly managed, allowing too many bookings which caused the whole course to get blocked up. Teeing off with 2-3 groups of 4 in front and behind us. Go to whaleback or anywhere else

Great food and great service. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing hit and superb food

Probably perths worst golf course marshal doesn't know what he's doing to busy puffing on his vape.

Well kept and great for golf but not a whole lot of variety in the courses more than just length. Great for a beginner like me but better players may want more.

Nice course maintained pretty good driving range is bit to short overall enjoyed playing 18 holes there.

First time visit, perfect spot for a cold beverage and watch the die-hards hit those little balls.

A taste of the country not too far from the City, the course was pretty good overall and the pub was excellent afterwards

I enjoyed my experience at Marri Park great old school pub experience nice pub grub.
I met some really interesting people at the bar, friendly staff all round a great pub feels like you in the middle of the bush and agreat atmosphere.
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is I didn't have time to enjoy an all day 18 hole experience,
I recommend coming here if you have never been you won't regret it.
