Marq Wines reviews
19Lovely venue in nature, surrounded by beautiful trees. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience. We booked a wine tasting months in advance. The staff who served us rushed the wine tasting, after less than 10 minutes it was done. We weren’t asked if we wanted to order glass of wine after the tasting and sit in the garden. We paid for the wine and this was it. The service wasn’t professional at all. We wouldn’t come back.
Ryan was an excellent cellar door host. Always a great wine tasting experience and awesome wines.
Fantastic experience with lovely staff. A wonderful tasting experience trying some unique and high quality wines from the renowned winemaker that makes Happs wines. Highly recommended.
Mark is a top bloke and posseses a cornucopia of knowledge surrounding wine. Relaxed and non-pretentious atmosphere. Gem of a spot.
Great food (dumplings food truck) and wines, with awesome vibe (helped along with music performers). Will be going back again!
Hidden gem with a great selection of varieties that can't be found everywhere. Every wine is crafted with obvious care to meet the highest quality
Busy little cellar door with owner Mark doing the tastings, info and sales with little fuss despite the number of tasters. The wines are a good mix for all tastes
Very friendly and professional service from staff. Had a great wine tasting experience and learnt a lot of new things about wines and grapes, etc. Beautiful Savaugon Franc. Defs be back again.
Love this winery. Peaceful location which is easy to find. Platters are amazing as is the wine. One of our ‘go to places’ for a relaxing light lunch. Exceptional service, and always with a smile!
The wine is amazing. Shame about the lady who served us in the cellar door. It was the most un welcoming experience, extremely unfriendly, rude. Definitely not a place to come if you have kids too. Not worth the visit.
The most unwelcoming winery we have been to in the South West. Shame as the wine is good. Just don't bother popping your head in for a tasting
Beautiful wines, very nice location. We had their wines at Casina and we loved it so we decided to visit the winery. SBS, Shiraz and rosè are our favourites.
Mark Warren is one of the South West's greats. Love pretty much everything he does and his own range is fantastic. Malbec and Sparkling Verminto are stand outs for me.
Lovely selection of wine, never disappoints! Everytime we've visited we've left with a minimum of 1 case:)
Beautiful wines to be enjoyed with an exceptional tasting plate.recommend marbec and vermentino
Great wines and a nice spot, with great hospitality from Danielle. We'll definitely be making this a regular stop
Mark and Danielle from Marq Wines are lovely people, knowledgeable wine makers and exemplary hosts - do yourself a favour and pop in to their cellar door and taste some wine and share a cheese platter or charcuterie board.
SO GOOD!
Terrible! The lady there is unbelievably rude! Our first stop on wine tour with 13 ppl at 11am. A few members of our group were asked not to swear as her underage daughter was there - Why she is in a licensed premises behind the counters is beyond me. They complied immediately. Another SCV group came in and we moved across the bench to make room. As we moved to the side, the lady rudely and loudly told us to move across while rolling her eyes at us. The guy was lovely but its just unfortunate that he is bought down by her terrible manner. Go there is you want to be treated like an animal. Pathetic!
