Marmion St Fresh & Gourmet reviews
50I wanted to buy a product that was advertised as for sale here. Unfortunately they didn’t have it but took my number and said they would get it in for me. Next day a message to say it’s already there! Excellent service and such lovely staff. Thank you
We have been shopping at Marmion Street Fresh and Gourmet since they opened and we have never been disappointed in any respect. Just beautifully fresh food from very obliging and warm and friendly people. Lyn and Nick, Melville.
Recommended shop with a wide range of offers. Very well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods and other delicacies. Friendly and helpful staff. I had questions about my allergies and got help from a German-speaking employee, which was very helpful because of my limited English skills.
Great range of beautiful fresh fruit and veg and other grocery essentials.bakery in the back is also awesome and the staff here are always so friendly, I can't fault the service and I've been shopping here for years
Well kept family business locally owned and can never beat the gourmet deli food they keep up the back the staff here always make you feel welcome and one even lent me her portable charger to help us pay at the counter incredible customer service!
Fantastic shop to have in my area. Awesome food and staff and very reasonable prices too. I highly recommend this store
I love the European range, the fresh breads and the selection of organic goods. I particularly like the French croissants when they come straight out of the oven! Adrian and his family have a fantastic selection in the deli and food ready to go. They’ve put a lot of thought into what they sell and support the community as well.
A lovely family-owned grocery shop, where the staff are always so friendly and the produce is fresh and locally sourced. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic supermarket with fresh fruit & veggies, super friendly staff and yummy lunches, soups and dinners too!
Great shop with quality products! There is a great variety especially for people with coeliac disease, here I can find gluten free food that I don't find in other stores. The staff are always helpful and you can buy beautiful flowers too
Had what we wanted, very tight store to manoeuvre around but clear and tidy, priced a bit high.
Fantastic store, great staff, fabulous quality food available. They pretty much have everything you can think of and the quality is always excellent.
Marmion St Fresh always go above and beyond in helping to source products. Customer service is 10/10 and the fresh produce range on point. It’s so good knowing the business is local owned and quality.
My favourite place to shop! Super friendly staff, local products, high quality fresh foods and for me the best: A range of gluten and free products. Just love going there trying new things. Never get disappointed.can highly recommend it. Especially if you have allergies and love to support small business and local products! You won't regret your time!
Above and beyond! I came in looking for a very hard to get item, there was no stock at the time. Two staff members let me know that there was a delivery arriving that day and there was a possibility the item I was after was in that load. I left my name and number and just a few hours later they called to say a very minimal amount of stock had arrived. I hurried on down to the store and was able to secure what I needed. Thank you so much to Stephanie and the other male staff member (sorry I don’t recall his name!) you made my week!
A rather unique little gourmet green grocer in Melville, although the price tag is up there I appreciate This grocer not only do I enjoy supporting local community in business as I think that it is crucial everyone does support their local communities in business, but this green grocer is a little special I find their selection and assortment of various interesting quirky gourmet international foods exciting. Each time I visit this grocer I intend to purchase one bunch of spring onions that however simply does not occur I end up walking out of this darling fresh and lush store with several paper bags filled with ABSOLUTE BLISS such as Decadent international candies, homemade Turkish delight with rose petals on top, a jar of hibiscus flower and orange blossom syrup to add with my glass of bubbly, I always grab the healthy choice gourmet gelatos in the freezer section they are pretty cool, and of course being Italian the organic bread section is a must aswell as their high society pates dips and posh cheeses bla bla bla if it’s not the ritz I don’t buy it, and then of course I start purchasing the really peculiar and weird acquired taste range of foods such as haggis Scottish pigs blood to which I will never eat EVER but I found it to be rather amusing for my guests dinner sorry all of which I was entertaining for that evening and my dish was antipasto so I thought it would be a eye opener or even worse a stomach churner yet I was wrong they all ate it so thanks Marmion fresh for bringing friends closer and creating wonderful memories.amara x
I needed a last minute present and was amazed by their flowers. Got a nice smelling candle, a gift bag and a big bunch of native flowers which were only $22. Coming back here again to get flowers!
What a nice shop! The quality of the groceries is unique. Everything is well sorted and clearly organised. Also love their sustainable products!
Our local gourmet deli and mini supermarket for top quality food and grocery items. Always been a top quality store over the last 50 years MY family has been frequenting it irrespective of who owned it.
This is a fantastic little shop! Even though I live a little distance away, I always come here for my treats.
Here you will find by far the best roast chicken around; so much better than those artificially "flavour enhanced" things in the large supermarkets.
The small goods counter is fantastic, the cakes (the pear and custard crumble!) are quality and very reasonable for what they are.
But perhaps the best kept secret is that here you will find the absolutely best prices for Maggie Beer ice cream AND they even stock the morello cherry flavour. The best!
There really is a little bit of everything here that you could possibly want, all with quality in mind.
I do wish that the "fruit specials" were not in nets but perhaps those paper bags with handles. I'm not going to take off any stars though, because this little shop IS so good and the staff are lovely and so very helpful.
I'll definitely always be a regular.
