Margaret River Lodge

Got the Luxury tent accommodation and the cabin and I have to say both were very presentable well done and great for a campsite. The close proximity to Margaret River and all the mountain biking tracks put it in a great location and I would recommend staying here. Some events and functions can be hosted at the communal main shed adding to the lodge making it good for large groups and make sure to bring along people called Konnor for extra added spice

Enjoyed our time here. Jools on reception was great and let us borrow bikes for free to try the nearest wineries. Decent accommodation with parking, good kitchen and clean toilet/shower blocks. Bit of a walk to the town but would have been happy to stay longer.

First impression: Nice staff, comfy beds, decent shower. The double bed rooms are further away from the busy part of the hostel, seperate kitchen in this part of the building. Price is a bit high for the standard, but hey we've only spent our first night here so actually I can't tell what else is here to find.

This was by far the best backpackers I have stayed in throughout Australia, I have stayed at many hostels travelling around Australia and it was by far the best. The staff are super friendly and everyone in there is amazing! Rooms were clean and tidy. The lounge and kitchen area was always clean and welcoming. I stayed for 3 nights, Would definitely recommend!

My experience was very bad. Too expensive, absolutely not clean, dark room with a bad smell.here are some examples of little decency: Someone stool some of my jam the first day (unbelievable) ; Spider in the shower, mold everywhere in the showers; bed linen with stains.etcetc!

Go away! Very bad hostel. The reception manager just dont care of his job, lazy guy. You ask for toilet paper that is not even provided often and he gets pissed because of you asking a simple question. He makes noise at 9pm just affront the dormitories doors, breaking his own rule (no noise after 1am and before 12am!)
Be careful: you must ask at the reception for pans and cooking gear to get it. Reception is open ONLY from 9 to 12! So you must plan carefully when to cook!
The kitchen is a mess (they only pay a few ppl from the hostel to clean it may be once a day. Every hostel I ve been before have staff to clean 3 times a day! For 150$/w it s a basic.)
Btw 150$ for that kind of hostel, better buy a van and live in it instead of that. Dont go there!

Excellent place to stay and close to the beach and shops. Very friendly staff and very good rooms

A little gem! We got the whole building to ourselves are no other rooms were rented that night. Good and fast wifi at the common area, with interesting games to play with friends. Kitchen is also fully-equipped

Nice room. Guy at the reception had a bad day when I was there though or he was just an ass, anyway quite a rude guy for some one working with guest

Not bad if you want a real cheap room for the night. More like a backpackers than a Lodge, no towels provided but there was linen of questionable cleanliness. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The facilities were extremely clean and they look really nice. I had an amazing experience (for the price) in this lodge the only downside was room 10 and the noisy group of kids at the time.

I had a great time here, rooms are what you'd expect for the price and the facilities are good and clean.

Comfy bed, cheap and accessible facilities. Shower was hot but sprayed everywhere as the curtain didn't circle the whole shower. I'd return if prices remain under $90/4sleepers

No privacy as everybody walks past your balcony to get to their rooms and lack of security at the doors which did not lock very well. Linen was dirty
