We recently stayed at Margaret River Bed & Breakfast and it was incredible!

Dirk and his wife are the most welcoming people we have ever met in Australia! It felt like we were staying with family (which is exactly what we needed with Covid preventing any trips home).

Dirk was amazing. We had actually booked another accommodation through booking.com, however there was a mix-up between the owner and booking.com and the accommodation owner was not actually even home! We arrived on a flight from Karratha, drove all the way down to Margaret River, only to arrive at midnight (our arrival time had been confirmed) but when we got there we had no accommodation! We phoned Dirk at some crazy hour of the night, woke him up and he was so lovely! He could not have been more welcoming, accepted our booking and showed us to our lovely warm, spacious and comfy room. We stayed here in winter and the place was just heaven! There was a big jacuzzi bath, blanket warmers, everything you could need.

The area is beautiful and the house has the most gorgeous gardens, surrounded by forest. The bird life is incredible. And wait until you have breakfast! Dirk’s wife makes the best bread! All different types and they have the most beautiful honey from their own bees. You can sit and have breakfast and watch all the beautiful birds in the garden. It’s so tranquil. Dirk is also very knowledgeable, and you can get lots of information and recommendations.

There’s also so many homely, welcoming touches which you don’t often get these days. Tim tams, treats etc! We have been coming down to this area for years and wont go anywhere else now!

You must stay here! It’s the best!

When I first called to book I was met with a warm friendly reception. Rooms were large and well equipped, including a spacious spa. Breakfast was very nice, with a big selection of nice homemade bread and the possibility of a warm breakfast. Would strongly recommend the pumpkin bread! Dirk was super friendly and was able to give us great tips on where to go and what to do each day. Would strongly recommend to anyone and everyone, we'll definitely be back.

We had incredible experience staying here, it is certainly one of the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at. The hosts were extremely welcoming, the rooms were incredible, the spa was amazing, the breakfast was very well done and the scenic nature was impeccable. Then add in the location and you are on to a winner. Will definitely be back:)

Such a great place to stay at! Very relaxed and also very close to the center of Margaret River. Pam and Dirk were very hospitable and made us feel right at home. The Bed and Breakfast is situated in nature which made nights peaceful and relaxing. Some nights we could even hear owls. You will not be disappointed!
The rooms were beautifully laid out and very clean with crisp fresh sheets. To our surprise, they even had Chromecast available and free wifi.
We will definitely be back!

Dirk and Pam are excellent hosts, breakfast fabulous. Its in a forest setting and the peace and tranquillity are good for the soul. Dirk knows the Margaret River region very well and even though we have visited before he showed us places we had not visited. Its the perfect place for your next visit to Margaret River.

Absolutely amazing, we loved the beautiful gardens the natives bring in the local birds. The rooms were fantastic and the staff are lovely, definately worth a stay.

Amazing owners, location, house, breakfast (freshly baked home bread and other products) and amazing dog! Exceptionally clean and cosy. Very helpful and nice owners, ended up staying another night, as the place was too good! Best place to stay to explore all areas around.

We had a delightful weekend getaway at Margaret River Bed and Breakfast. Dirk was a fantastic host who made us feel right at home. The place was very peaceful tuck away surrounded by nature. The accommodation was extremely clean, comfortable and homely. We are already planning to get back down there for another weekend getaway. Highly recommended and thank you for the honey gift.

What a fabulous experience. We stayed for 2 nights. The room is so clean and warm, very spacious and has a large Jacuzzi bath. Then in the morning a wholesome breakfast with home made breads and cakes, tea, coffee and a hot breakfast if required. Dirk and Pam we're so welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. They have great local knowledge and on their advice we went on a road trip around the coast, jewel caves, lighthouse and surfers point for sunset. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing weekend xx

Very private, comfortable and well appointed rooms, lovely breakfast and a very friendly puppy live in the house attached. The owners Dirk and Pam are warm and informative. Great location slightly away from the town centre and right on caves road for wineries / caves. We will be back.

Lovely spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast room with huge TV and comfy lounge area. Breakfast was amazing - 8 different home made breads and a range of local jams and a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt as well as ham and salami or a cooked breakfast could be purchased. Beautiful bush surroundings with lovely bird songs. Hosts Pam & Dirk were great and provided heaps of information about local attractions and eating places.

Great location- quiet, surrounded by trees and nature. Has a homely vibe, you can sit outside while enjoying a cup of tea. Bathroom includes a spa, very spacious. Yummy breakfast! Lots of home made bread selection, etc. Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Hosts are nice and accommodating.

Great ambiance, better company, and the cutest dog bella! This place had very well equipped and comfortable wounds, and a great spread for breakfast. You must try the honey they make from those personal hives.

Amazing place. Very clean and Homey. Very accomodating owners. The owner will even give you suggestions where to go around Margaret River.

Pam and Dirk were the perfect hosts. The accommodation was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The spa bath was nice for unwinding after a day exploring the Margaret River area. The large dining and lounge area has beautiful views into the forest, and is where we had wholesome breakfast with local and handmade produce.

Thoroughly recommended and will stay again next time in the area.
