Margaret River Backpackers

YHA has had my back all over the world but this one is sadly running a policy that requires backpackers to stay for a full week. It's a good rate don't get me wrong but you guys need to update your policies. Backpackers are back and we would like to have the freedom to move around, bring back one night dorm rooms!

Nice hostel, people are Seldom permitted to stay here unless they book in advance through email well before they plan on staying. This is good because there are less people then there are beds for, no crackheads or annoying aussie locals. Good community and reasonable rates. Bunk beds are slightly awkward though and do not have ladders, rooms are slightly crowded and lack good storage space but thankfully they are hardly ever full. By far the best and most affordable place to go in margs (if you can get in)

Always closed NEVER ANSWER phone calls. I’ve tried to email and call so many times and I just tried to go in and book and I have been left with no response. Horrible.

Great hostel! Super clean. Great vibes. Great rooms. Close to town. Jules the manager is amazing and the place is a perfect spot to land if you're on working holiday.

Nice hostel good location and mikki on the desk is super nice! Karl the manager on the desk is a really weird aggressive man who shouts at people for not cleaning dishes and also doesn't allow any drinking of alcohol whatsover. Good hostel but Karl makes it an unpleasant place

This place has everything you need from a backpackers. The location is central to Margaret River town. Close to shops and transport.
The only thing I would change is it could have had better pillows.

Awesome hostel with even cooler people! (Also close to Liquorland: D)

BUT the surfbus shuttle service is not available anymore.

Stayed there for one night with two of my friends. One of whom is in a wheelchair chair. The front desk guy was very helpful and gave us a different key to use so that he wouldn't have to go up any stairs. As well he helped us plan our time in the region.

I wasnt expecting much when I saw the price, but I am impressed by the standards. This backpackers may of been taken over & re-done from the ground up. Everything seems new. I have been to see three backpackers & in Margaret River this is the best one for value for money & standard of stay. I am not sure what the previous comments were complaining about but maybe that was about the old place.

Guests was nice. You can use washing machine $4 /per once. The room was poorly ventilated. Nice location.
