Great 18 hole public course which is improving after new operators took over recently12/22. Practice driving range, chipping and putting facilities for free. Plenty of Kangaroos and other wildlife to see on the course.

Like playing here with brother play can be slow at times most groups will call you through if that's the case

Good course few hard holes but it's what you make of it

Recommend playing here

Great staff and a good course to have a lazy 18 holes
An upgrade to the bar and eatery would be nice. And when it's really hot the area for eating and drinking isn't as comfortable as it could be.

Maintenance staff seem to be getting on top of fixing fairways and greens. The rough alongside the fairways needs to be thinned out and mowed. Grass trees along side fairways also need to be cut back as too many overgrown.

Can't really complain about the half okay course, but some of their staff, especially one by the name of Paul, very arrogant which makes the experience less than pleasant. I'll probably revisit the course, but will try my best to avoid him.

Was a big fan, not as much now. Course needs significant work and now charge more for a round.

Nice layout but course conditions weren't great and a couple of temp greens didn't help

The normal delays on a public course, condition was fair but 3 temp greens on the day I played were disappointing. Did snag a bargain driver in the pro shop.

I played quite regularly at Marangaroo around 30 years ago around the time they introduced the kangaroos to the course. Yes, the course has lots off kangaroos that roam around freely, they are oblivious to the people playing but can sometimes get in the way with where you're hoping to play. Anyway, 30 years later and I'm back at Marangaroo. The course looks much the same perhaps some minor improvements. It's a nice course to play with a few well positioned bunkers around the course and water on the front nine. The course is perhaps a bit less busy than some others which is a bonus. There's a driving range and chipping area. There is also a small pro shop and a kiosk for drinks and snacks. A new (for me) covered seating area (clubroom) is available but to be honest it's a bit bare and not a particularly inviting place to sit and drink. Despite this I enjoyed playing the course at $22 for 9 holes the price is reasonable and I loved having the kangaroos around.

Went here with a school group to get lessons. The course is pretty, the kangaroos add to the experience and the teaching was excellent!

Few temporary greens and construction work but apart from that, it's OK course. Very well stocked pro shop and refreshments shop.

Don't forget to bring water- I was charged $13.50 for a 600ml & 1.5L bottles of water. This would likely be the only place i have ever found thats more expensive than an Airport. Other than getting ripped off, golf was fun!

Nice little course, Greens are in a poor state currently however, played Sunday with 3 under repair and one like a patchwork quilt.

Staff are always first class

Greens are rooted. Balls literally bounce and change direction when you putt.

Edit: thanks for the nice reply, totally understand. Changed my review to 5 stars as other than that it was a nice time. I will be back in a few weeks time to try the lush new greens:)

Notice said greens had been forked so expected that. They weren't forked but are very slow and hairy and many in a very bad state. Course is short and holes very samey.

Played their today I’m sorry but I have to be honest and say the greens were beyond a joke bad I’m not sure what’s happened to this course as 6 months ago the greens were fine for a public course but 16 out of 18 greens were either dying off had crab grass and paspalum growing in them and heaps of dead patches and half attempted patch work and the holes were cut out terribly I will not be returning to this course again untill the greens are normal my whole playing group were shocked on the condition sorry but not acceptable either raise your prices and bring the course up to a acceptable standard or warn people about the condition of the greens before happily taking their money.

Absolutely atrocious greens and ole mate at the counter forgot to give two of my team players our sauce with our sausage rolls.

Sunday ruined. Can't believe I paid $36 for that. Fire your greens keeper immediately.

Won't be returning until the greens are ripped up and started again.

Super friendly people here (both staff and players). The pro shop was very helpful and obliging. Nice place to play a round or two!

Not a bad course but only played the 2nd nine. Greens and fairways pretty good and interesting layout. Nowhere else are there so many Resident Kangaroos on the trip around!
