Mandurah Bookshop and Exchange (Large library of books)

My daughter and I went in here for the first time it is a lovely second-hand books store. I asked the lovely owner if she would like Maths textbooks (yr 8 to 10 comes to 40 boxes all up) from my school. I wanted to make it accessible to the kids in need.she had recommended places where I could call up. I highly recommended this place, she have her store all organised (aesthetic)

They were a little overwhelmed by the amount of books, that are in condition, I turned up with, but most gracious in accepting and the service.

So helpful. Lee didn't have the book I was after but found it and got it in for me. Why would you ho to am expensive book shop when you get service like that!

I ordered 2 discontinued specialty books. They were able to get them in for me in superb condition.

Heaps of books. A great place to visit to find out of print books. Children’s books are priced higher than if you were to buy many of them new. Definitely check the price online before you purchase a book, but there are some good deals.

This lady is actually crazy. Seen her abusing people in the car park today carrying on like a raw prawn.

So rare to find a gem like this book shop. Literally floor to ceiling books a magical place for someone like myself who gets lost in a good read

A neat little hide away that’s easy to loose hours in. This little book shop offers an interesting experience.it’s biggest strength is also its biggest flaw. I went in looking for a specific book, as I learnt this Mandurah Central book shop is directed more at the individual looking for a book with no particular title. I was informed by the young man behind the counter that there are sections, however so system to organise.

So written another way, the organisation stops at categories. Perhaps the book you seek is in the store, however you only chance of finding it is going to the section it should be in and read every spine until success. Now I know this sounds tedious if you are looking for a particular book.and if that’s the case; go to a different bookshop.

BUT if your in the mood to let the infinite intelligence hold your hand and guide you to the right book, this is the store you will find it in. My next visit I will go with a different frame of mind - one that is excited at the opportunity of finding something I never knew I wanted!

Great little local bookshop! Great prices, tonnes of books, and you can take them back when your done for half price back! Epic!

Nice little bookshop. Absolutely choc a block full and well organised. Donna is very helpful she knows what books she has stocked. Also you receive credit for used books as long as you buy from the store. Good to see bookshops like this are still around. Could imagine it would be hard to cover the rent. Only reason for 4 stars is not many scifi/fantasy books to my taste, although in saying that the shelves will be changing all the time. Will revisit in future.

Found everything I was looking for, fair exchange rate, books are in good condition and the lady was so incredibly knowledgeable.
