Mandoon Estate reviews
82Very disappointing, worst place we have been to. Food (pizza, burger and chips) took 1 hour and a half to come out and then it was cold. No staff around to pick up glasses and clean tables. Gave it one star for the shaded garden area.
Food is good. Setting good as well. Relaxing. But $11 for 350ml of orange juice is really nuts!
Table service was not good.tables were barely cleared for used glasses or plates for the duration of our sitting. For comfort and satisfaction this was taken upon by myself. Bar Service was ok at times. Food service was taken upon by ourselves also! However food did come out at once when ready-except for a couple of pizzas which did arrive eventually… Highly recommend installation of outdoor fans or the like for the corner we sat at.perhaps Visual Table Numbers as we redirected orders quite a few times to other tables.
Lovely venue and although I never made a booking before hand, I was able to get a table immediately. My food also arrived fairly quickly, although I had to ask the whereabouts of my second glass of wine that I ordered through the table app.
Thankfully the food was delicious!
Thank you for a superb dinner.
Beautiful location, just had a work training day at this location and the food was incredible, venue amazing, staff lovely and vista was stunning. Plenty of parking too. Thanks so much guys, awesome!
Nice Venue I noticed some very pissed people when arriving on Saturday evening, very nice venue, but seeing young people extremely drunk on the premises is a turn off, unfortunately don't think I will come back.
Our wine blending experience far exceeded our expectations. Antonella was amazing as were our other participants. No hesitation in recommending this experience to anyone
One of the famous wineries in the Swan Valley region of Western Australia. As I entered the entrance, I was first surprised by the scale and felt why it was called Estate. In addition to the enormously wide vineyards, there are various places to see, including a large restaurant and beer pub building, an outdoor children's playground, outdoor tables, and a small river. Uniquely, this place is also a Winery, but Homestead Brewery, a Craft Beer Brewery, is also operated together. A device for brewing beer is installed inside the restaurant, and you can enjoy 5 types of craft beer right away. It offers a variety of meal menus and side dishes, so you can enjoy delicious dishes with wine and beer. On one side of the building, there is a separate area for tasting and purchasing wine. You can taste about 20 types of wine yourself, but in the case of relatively expensive wines, you have to pay a separate fee for tasting. It also sells a variety of its own brand Goods. The wine is also good and there are many things to see, so it's a good place to visit at least once.
I liked it atmosphere lovely outside looking at Vine yards. I have vegan burger yummy staff very enthusiastic. Creme brulee divine. Recommend
Beautiful setting perfect for a Sunday afternoon in the beer garden. The pizzas were amazing. So tasty. Will definitely be back again.
Megan “The Canadian” made the wine tasting a 10 out of 10 experience! She shared some amazing tips and tricks for us to ensure we are making the most out of our wine drinking in the future, and her passion for her work is obvious from the get go! Would definitely go back!
The quality of the food has really gone down. The pizza was dry, lacking sauce and the buffalo mozzarella cheese that was put on top was watery. Liquid was seeping all over the prosciutto. The chips were terrible. They were so dry like cardboard and dark brown. The chips must have been cooked in really old oil and left in there for too long. We also ordered brocollini. It was obvious they’d been cooked in the microwave because it had that wilted, microwave burn texture to it. Plus waaaayy too much garlic. One bite and you could taste it all day! The drinks were good as it’s always nice to sit out on the grass in the grounds. But Mandoon really needs to do something about the quality of their food. It’s a winery. They can do so much better.
The burger was good, wines were average (if you are with a tour and are late, they will rush you) that’s about it
Always a great time in the fresh air at Mandoon Estate.great pizza and Wagyu beef burgers on The Llawn. Live music. Beautiful settling near the river, shade from tall trees. Families, friends, kids. Christmas gatherings.the works.
Very disappointed. We ordered 2 lots of Fish and Chips and a mini burger and chips for our 8 year old. The fish was in a Thick greasy beer batter and the fish was of inferior quality. The chips were so bad that not even my 8 year old would eat them. For the money you pay at this place I expected much better.
Nice venue with terrible food. Bought a chicken burger for over 26 bucks. One bite it was rubbish! Raw chicken and soggy bun. Could have bought 3 mc chicken meals and would have had a better experience
We had our wedding at Mandoon Estate and wow.we are blown away. Everything went so smoothly on the day. The venue itself is gorgeous, but not only that, the service and food was top notch. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was, and the service could not be faulted.
Special mentions to Travers and Faye - you guys were so professional on the day (and the day before) and reassured us. Thank you for your hospitality - we can't recommend Mandoon Estate more!:)
Went to a beautiful wedding at Mandoon estate yesterday and what a great venue. The staff was so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Great customer service for sure.
The supervisor was always communicating with his staff and made sure everyone was happy and had everything we needed.
Little toiletries pack in the bathroom was a nice touch. All the little extras was executed well.
Great place, great staff. Well recommended for a wedding.
Service is always bad! Lovely location and venue but the worst service every time I visit.just needs some good management and staff training.
Positive, Nice setting gor wedding stay. We Stayed at the accommodation For $330/ night a bit expensive no breakfast, Air-conditioning didn't heat the room enough.
