Used to come here over the years, my usual go to for chicken rice, but i had a different experience when i figured how much hainanese chicken rice goes for now!

i hope the restaurants see this as its not reasonable or afordable! I remember coming here when its 9$ for a great servings of chicken rice! Now its $15 for the same serving portion which blows my mind! I understand cost of livings are going up but i know my asians restaurant are cheaper than usual and amazing in taste! But after hearing about this! I hope they make some changes in their prices! As i would love to come here and not be negated by price otherwise please add 1.5 or even 2x more meat, as there are alot of adjacent malaysian restaurants that charges equivalent and you can get way more in serving sizes

Great place to have some Malaysian food. Mee Goreng, Laksa or Nasi Lemak. Coffee shop style. Very friendly lady owner and daughter.
I had a Laksa a combination of fish cake, Tau pok and shredded chicken. Taste somewhat like curry Mee. Does not have the laksa leaf smell. Mamak also serve fried Kway Teow, Crispy noodle, Hor Fun and Nasi Lemak.
Reasonable priced and generous portion.

Hainanese Chinese Rice is good~
Especially, the rice is cooked by Hainanese Sauce~

If you like roti canai DO NOT come here. The staff is friendly. The place seems quiet. Not hard to find a table. But if you're looking for authentic mamak food, this place is not it. I ordered nasi lemak, curry laksa and the roti canai.
Laksa was good. Can't fault it. The nasi lemak wasn't authentic. Nasi lemak didn't have the coconut rice that it's supposed to come with which makes it so distinguished. No peanuts either. I could be picky there but if you know, you know. The roti is what made me the saddest. $15.50. It was smaller than my hand. It was the most expensive roti I've ever ordered and also the smallest I've ever received. Served with a large curry portion which honestly didn't make sense. The owner asked how the food was and I had to be honest about the roti. She said that she DID recommend getting the rice, but if we wanted rice and curry, we could just make that at home. She said it was hard to make the roti but I knew it was store bought, she said it was hard cause she didn't have an oven, but I've never met anyone who makes a roti on an oven. A good place to come when it's closing and the food is cheaper for the 'grab and go', but I would never come here for a sit down dinner.

Recommend chicken rice and laksa. If you are looking for quick and simple Malaysian food, this one is definitely for you,

Very genuine taste, cooks really try to get your order right and may come out to ask a question again, and the taste is very authentic. Not a flash place, but not in a crowded environment either, just off site of Galleria. Very popular and affordable. A regular for me love it

Beehoon egg sauce was served in room temperature and it was sour! I had to bring it back to the staffs and asked for a new one. Only a few veggies on it (see photo) As usual, staffs were screaming behind the counter, enjoying themselves.

Amazing! We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice dish. The sauce was not too sweet or sour and was spot on and coated the chicken nicely. The chicken was also cooked perfectly. The dish was a perfect combo of chicken and rice with amazing sauce for such a cheap price.

Lovely staff, simple place, sensational food. Could be a contender for one of the best Laksa soups in Perth.

Wise woman (my wife) has done it again! She ordered this lovely crispy fried bee hoon dish (see photo) and I wanted her order instead of what I ordered for myself! I am too safe, she is always saying, only ordering my favourite chicken rice and not wanting to try anything else when we eat here. Ok ok I admit, next time I will order what SHE orders lol. Still, this is one of THE places where I can come for my chicken rice fix and it doesn't disappoint, in fact it makes me fatter (in a good way). Love their chicken rice but yes next time, I will try the other stuff on their menu, I promise!

Haven’t been to this place for a long time. Planned to have a meal there a couple of days ago. Stood in front of counter for 5 mins. No staff wants to take me order. They were too busy to walk around. End up leaving the restaurant.

I knew the girl was rude, bad customer service and now it’s no customer service.

Disgusting! Waited AGES for a noodle dish which was awful and the owner was so pushy, trying to get everyone to buy her chicken curry.

Combination for several varieties of food is average and the portion is way to small! A customer before us served by different person got a decent portion of food. I won’t recommend order combination as the portion is not standard just depends on who serve you!

Was very disappointed. Ordered the nasi lemak to dine in. It came out in a takeaway container and had obviously been warmed up in the microwave.
The ikan bilis was so little you could count them and no peanuts with it.
I spoke to staff but they're responses were unsatisfactory.
I wish I'd taken a photo now as evidence. They've lost me as a customer.

Best value and tasting Hainan chicken rice north of the river. Cheaper than in Coventry market. Sells other Malaysian hawker food like fried kway teo, nasi Lllamak.etc. Dine in or takeaway.

The girl (owners daughter) at the counter is ALWAYS ruuuuuuuude, would never come back because of that.

Really poor customer service from the girl at the counter (daughter of owner I think). Food is nice and cheap.

Food good price good but no respect to customer at all, mainly the daughter of owner (i think).
