I spent $144 on a take away order at Mamak corner maddington and I am extremely disappointed. The food seems old and no flavour. The curry laksa was just very watered down curry with half being oil. The special fried rice was soggy and the beef rendang tasted gamy and old. Spending this much money on food is disappointing when the taste and quality isn’t there. Please check on who is cooking the food as it seems perhaps reused from the day before.

Firstly It is so very obvious you do not take the many complaints you've received about portion sizs and chilli usage seriously
Ok so your a Malaysian food outlet but here in Australia not Malaysia
If it was in Malaysia you would not last in business due to your very stingy portion sizes bulked by boiled rice
Not everyone likes alot of spice and your far too heavy handed when it comes to chilli usage.
You may think it's mild but it is not
Your beef rendang is a joke hardly any flavour and tough, stringy flavourless beef.
You must think that Aussies dont know any better
Malaysia being a favourite tourist destination for Aussie's allows them to experience the wonderful cusine of Malaysia and yours is far from it.
Your prices are that of a restaurant not a food court
Your food is bland with very little meat and over served amount of rice
As mentioned above your use far too much chilli not allowing those of us whom like mild to enjoy their food
Im sharing my experince and having read the many complaints felt it was my duty to speak on behalf of thoes people whom you answered with a promise of change but you've done nothing
To thoes of you whom have to try this place you may just like it and you may love hot spicey food at a high price
but in my opinion once bitten twice shy
Some business owners just dont listen and it's a shame because given a huge change this outlet could really takeoff
Oh another thing borderline arrogant staff will kill your business
On one of the days I visited I was served by the owner whom had a sour face and not a smile to be seen
Oh you can forget about replying promising to improve your food it falls on deaf ears
Note I gave 3 for the potental for this outlet to greatly improve
I tried this place 3 times since your opening to be fair and as nothing has changed I've submitted my review
Update there has been a significant turn around and as promised by the owner I have found a vast improvement so its 4 from me.
Well done I wish your business every success in the future

My partner and I got the lamb meat and rice option and the fried chicken nasi lemak. The chicken was soft and tender on the inside and beautiful golden on the outside. The lamb meat was really the GOAT of all lamb curries I’ve had. The lamb was soft and tender and delectable. The samosas were filled to the brim and superbly crispy on the outside. The ice tea was perfect, not too sweet or overpowering. Ice tea is a necessity to cool off in a warm and sunny day.

I just had the take away $10 Chicken Satay with Rice and Veges from Mamak Goreng at Maddington Shopping Centre.it was the WORST takeaway meal I have ever eaten! There was hardly any Chicken Satay in there at all and what was there, was not very tasty. The veges tasted like they were steamed days ago with absolutely no flavour. The entire meal was just bulked up with rice, to make you feel like you got your monies worth.but I tell you what, I didn't.every so often, I would buy food off them in the hope that it improves and I just keep getting disappointed well, that was the last time!

Me and my friends had really good Sunday brunch a few weeks back at Mamak Goreng. I had mee Goreng, a friend had mee Goreng mamak (she's come here a few times and loved the food) and another friend had rice with the side dishes (can't remember what it's called but she had rendang). We were satisfied with everything and will definitely be a regular with food this good

Bought a lunch bowl for 10bucks. Misleading looks to be full but it's a tiny bowl of Thai chicken (7 lil pieces) with veges and a half filled bowl of rice underneath it. Couldn't tell because there was a bowl inside a bowl.

Very disappointed.
I have traveled a lot in Asia and also lived in Malaysia and the roti that I had today was among the worst I have ever tried. Roti should be light and crispy on the outside. Mine was very stodgy. The 2 curries that come with it were both watery. Definitely not worth the money I paid. We also waited just over 25 minutes. Not good service.
The teh tarik was at least passable

Best Ice Kacang and Cendol. Very authentic feel. Highly recommend. Owner from malaysia so he knows his stuff. Do support this cool little mamak shop.

I wanted to like this place, and the Laksa was pretty good for an authentic Malaysian style Laksa, but the presentation was a real let down.
You have a shop, I'm eating at the table in front of your shop. Why do you have to use disposable cutlery? The bamboo spoon was completely ridiculous and I had to go and ask for something else. So then she gave me a tiny plastic disposable Asian soup spoon. Slightly better, but it still made it feel like I was standing in a paddock at an open air concert.
