@Malibu fish and chips well that is very disappointing burnt and greasy don’t know what happened but very ordinary never again

Burgers are lovely. My wife loves the Fish Burger and I usually have the Works Burger which I really enjoy. Tonight I tried the new Heart Burger and I definitely will be getting that from now on. The chip are nice as well not oil not over cooked. Well done guys keep up the good work and I'll continue to come back

Waited an hour for our order. Looks like they may be under new management, so hopefully they improve shortly.

My daughter just ordered herself fish and chips and waited almost half an hour. People came in after her, ordered and were served thiers before her.

My family and I enjoyed our fish and chips tonight. Great value for money.they were busy tonight. But the staff were very organised. Thank you Malibu fish and chips.

Unbelievable! Waited 40 minutes for fish and chips. Watched them complete orders and serve customers who came in after we did. Still we waited only to find they got the order wrong! Sorry but not good enough. If a fish and chip takeaway can’t get an order for basic fish and chips right then there really is no hope!
Chips over cooked, over salted, fish greasy. Already home by now or I would have returned them, quite disgusting

Best fish and chips I've tasted for years. Often travel down to Waikiki to see my daughter and we always buy fish and chips from them. The dim sims are lovely to. Big choice of seafood.

Service was good, fish was fine but probably the worse fish shop chips I've ever had.

Not bad, fish burger was good, fish was good chips alright.carnt complain.family enjoyed it.

Always gets order wrong and remakes it but it is still wrong. Last time they just gave us someone else's order, when we rang and told them they said keep it. The burger that came with that meal was burnt on the outside and red raw on the inside.

Fish is hard, gluey & overchewy, kinda like the chips which are definetly stale & wouldnt be surprised if reheated yesterdays seconds? No idea how the food & service got so bad, perhaps because i asked for pink salt? Wouldve bought it for them if werent so rude to me.n2m price gone up & quality far down.when first went, was only $10 & actually snapper & chips were good too, last few times very subpar & after tonights experience i wont be going back there again.pink salt is only the difference between sucking ur face in & actually enjoying the meal with extra minerals.ofc it wont help with other obvious problems poor service, prep, oil & ingtedients.starvin so almost finished the fish, barely half chips, belly already grumblin at me for goin back there.:/

Have been coming to this store for years and since the new owners the quality of food and service has dramatically increased.
3 fish burgers and $5 chips took them 30minutes ro cook and the store was almost empty. Each burger was cooked and build separately. Since it took so long we got home and the burgers where all cold as where the chips and we live just around the corner.
And this isn't the first experience where they've taken excessively long.
Portions are hard to judge and change every time.

Unfortunately this place has declined in recent months. Have been a regular for a while but the order of Red Spot Emperor this evening was very unpleasant. The texture, smell and taste was not like Red Spot at all. We called back to check our order was correct and were assured it was. If this is true I'd suggest changing your supplier! Even the chips are different now. Skinnier and lots of black dots! They were also soggy and practically cold this evening too. After yet another disappointing meal we won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it anymore. It's a shame but there is only so many times hoping for improvement and not getting them and tonight was the last time.

I have been a customer for years and after tonight's I won't be back! A simple order of chicko roll, crab stick and gravy and clearly stated chicken salt. I come home no salt at all and having to heat up cold gravy I may as well have cooked it myself. 3rd time since the new owners and I'm done! Simple order and not in rush hour should be done properly.poor form

We were recommended this place but found it to be just bog standard fish and chips. Fresh chips they claim but no just bog standard frozen chips (maybe the recipe is too tough) Fish was ok.

The best quality food from a Fish and Chip joint that I've ever had. New owners and a nice new shop. Super crispy and well salted all round, fantastic gravy. The portion sizing is great too.

Called up and placed an order, was ready really quickly and the lady on the phone was lovely. The portion of the chips was not acceptable for a medium, I double checked it was correct and was told by a different woman that ‘that’s just the serve’. Wasn’t able to eat much of the snapper, it tasted sour!
The other items we ordered were great, crispy, and the place was clean, however won’t be returning.
