Malaga Markets reviews
48Great family experience great produce. An awesome staff down there. Very friendly and approachable. Great for kids lots of.colour and arty things about the place.
Absolutely love the Malaga Markets. Especially the Brazilian BBQ combined with a beer from the bar ;)
Food Court variety is very good and the main attraction. From Indian to Brazilian BBQ to Chinese to American diner cuisines.
Some interesting shops as well.
Some places are good in this market unfortunately there was an indoor plant shop has a very arrogant owner who doesn’t allow me to take any photos (I wanted to share their plants to my friend hence promoting her business).
Unfortunately, this type of mentality just making them losing more customers. Bad attitude doesn’t promote a good business.too bad for the market. (the shop is just next to clothing store).
Have a good look, third world filthy tip. Fruit and veg stall twice the price of other markets, expensive pies and pasties, grubby behind the counter food stalls and a pigsty outside the building. Stalls not opened on time if at all.
Stalls have too much stock that is just stacked on top of other stuff, in general run down and grubby.
Lots of shops, huge variety and really popular. Plus lots of eateries too.
Well worth a visit to find a bargain.
The atmosphere has changed in last 12 months. A lot of closed variety shops. There's more food stalls taking over. Food hall is good however music too loud. The Food hall and toilets need good clean. Decided to have a Phsyic reading. Don't waste your money. Some people think their Physic however aren't. On a positive note the carvery, gonzele and coffee shop near entry you get good service with a smile.
Wow! Never been here before but will happily return. Great range of stores and merchandise.
It's changed a bit over the years but is still a fun market with a good variety of stalls/booths so worth a visit just be aware that when it's busy it can be insane and you need to be very careful not to loose children in the crowd.
Not to many markets left out this way and Empty store's are disappointing.
Some of the store's open could do with a new lease of life which would help them and other's.
Food court worth a visit
Changed so much.for the better. Had a lovely afternoon, wandering around the stalls and finished off with a drink at the tavern. Highly recommend
It's an ok markets, not spectacular. Maybe because I went on a Friday, perhaps it would be better on a weekend. I imagine it would be crowded when more people are there, the areas to walk between stalls appears to be quite narrow although this could be due to the low light levels in places. There is a nice selection of food vendors and a large fresh fruit and vegetable seller with lots of good looking produce. Overall I would probably return here some day.
Best Sunday Breakfast at Hines Kai, Hot soft bones, watercress and fried bread, plus potatoes and sweet potatoes. Mean kai, my brothers first time and he enjoyed the kai we had today.
Sorry no photos!
Too hungry!

Loved the Indian spice shop. Satay d'lite was delicious. Not a bad market to just cruise thru on a weekend
Absolutely loved it. I know where i will be getting all my crafty stuff from and feeling very lucky thanks to Boo Chan.
It was fun to visit that market. A lot of food choices to try, fruits and vegetables to take home with you
Everyone at Malaga markets is wonderful except for the security worker who goes by the name of Jason. This man seems to have some sort of superiority complex as he likes to cause trouble. Needs to be sacked. Just because you can intimidate people does not mean you should! Avoid hops bar if you don’t want a run in with an unnecessarily aggressive barbarian!
Went for the food.
Superb.
Large variety of food stores.
Fresh food stalls
Also querky little stores to look at after food.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere, the food hall is cleaned well and you can't go past the bar meal deals with a pint. The Kiwi food joint is 'chur' beautiful value food with lovely service. Give it a go.
