CAN'T FAULT THE SERVICE, DELIVERED A WEEK AHEAD OF TIME TO THE DEPOT. HAD NO ISSUES AT THE DEPOT FRIENDLY AND PROMPT, AND EFFICIENT. I USE A LOT OF INTERSTATE COURIERS AND THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN THE BEST SO FAR

I only ever needed to go here once, and that was enough. To be fair, it's a distribution centre and pick-ups are definitely not their thing. You need to pull up to the boom gate and push the intercom buzzer. There are three to choose from. However, none answers any of them. So I eventually had to get out of my car, and talk to someone who was hiding around the corner having a cigarette. He took a photo of my con note number and disappeared inside. 5 mins late the bom gate went up. I parked in the blue space for pick ups and waited. And waited. After a few people walking by staring at me, another dude rolled out on his forklift of choice. Asked me if i was there for a pick up. Seriously! So he took a photo of my con note also and disappeared also. So i started to look for my package amongst all the ruins of the many partially dismembered items scattered around the parking bays. It's like a tip. Eventually he told back around and find my item on the ground, battered and spoiled. I throw it on my roof and head off. Somewhat satisfied.

Terrible service. They are not answering phone calls and national delivery takes ages to arrive. I can have it shipped from anywhere in Europe faster than that. Stay away!

Had a garden shed delivered from Sydney. They kept me in the loop as to its location via tracking. Took a couple of weeks and text messages were received when it arrived in Perth. Shed delivered no dings or dents and scratches on arrival. Great job!

TERRIBLE.despite very clearly advertising online that they are open all the time. They are NOT.rocked up Saturday morning to collect a consignment rang the intercom only to be greeted by a woman who advised they are not open. The information is wrong and she isn’t meant to be there so won’t help. Waste of time. Get your stuff together Mainfreight!

Would like to say how unprofessional Mainfreight is. First we had them to organise a 40ft container from Belguim to be delivered to Coningham Tasmania, they sent a container to the manufacturer, which was smelly, the manufacturer refused to load it, so with no communication to me, Mainfreight sent the container back to base unloaded, I finally found out from the manufacture, I then rang mainfreight, told them to stop the truck on the highway, till l negotiated with manufacture, they said they would load so I gave instructions to Mainfreight to send truck back for reloading, with no fault of ours, they slugged us $1000 because the truck had to wait for instructions. Thanks very much, Then when they delivered the container to Coningham, the trucking firm Monson that they used said there was a 5 tonne limit on coningham rd, so they said they would have to split the load in two, and charge us another $1300 but the truth came out later when they had to deliver another container from China, a local said, they should have entered from Davey st, no restrictions on Davey. So with the trucking firm Monson not doing their job properly, it cost us $1300, no apology, nothing. Now we get to China container, we were suppose to have it delivered on the 16th September, we arrived in Tasmania on the 9th September, Mainfreight ring, say, Oh container is going to be late by two weeks because it hit bad weather in Singapore in August, they did not notify us then, as we could have cancelled our arrival by two weeks, but no, so its cost us two weeks accomadation and two weeks sitting around for two weeks as we needed the China container material on the 16 Sept as it was the first thing we need, so we need extra accommadation Guess what, they did not offer an apology whatever, then had the audacity, the staff member Monica, rang said we have to bring this container in two loads because of the weight restrictions even though they had been told that they could deliver via Davey st, and it will cost us $1600 extra, we finally had the container delivered by Davey st with no exra costs, but had to battle hard, as all they wanted to do is charge at a drop of a hat. I also had a problem with Monica as she would say she would ring back, but never would, and even though I was the client, she would ring my client instead. I might also add, they couldn't even find my payments that I made, even though the bank i use, uses Oscar payment system that takes one minute to arrive at Mainfreights bank. So end of story, best of luck if you use this company, completely useless as breasts on a bull, they take no responsibilty on what they do, take liberty and charge you whatever because they have you as they have your stock. We will be bringing in approx 20 containers in the next 12 months, guess who doesn't get the job, because of their incompetance, they cost us $15000 all up, with no apology, disgraceful

I wish I could give them a zero.
I thought Australia Post was bad for delivery times but Mainfreight beat them hands down. In my mind this is an absolutely unprofessional company.
The fact that Mainfreight kept my package for SEVEN days at their Perth depot from Monday 0625 10Sep until it was delivered on Monday 17Sep shows contempt for their customers and a lack of respect for me, the receiver.
I followed up with the supplier on Friday 14Sep to find out where the package is after they said it was going to be delivered on Wednesday 12Sep only to find out thei staff had deliberately kept it at the depot. Their staff's attitude leaves me in amazement in that they would treat their client and their client's customer with such disdain.
Freight carriage time:
4,300km Acacia Ridge Queensland to Hazelmere Western Australia 6 days (note only two cross country scheduled each week).
19km Hazelmere to Northbridge (both suburbs of Perth) 7 days.
I do hope that their company and staff experience the same attitude and lack of professionalism when receiving packages so that they can understand what it is like

I could've walked to Brisbane, picked up my item and walked back to Perth in the time it sat at the depot in Perth. How does it take longer to get it delivered from the depot 20 minutes away than it takes to bring it from across the country? ! Ridiculous.
