Maestro Sourdough Pizza

This is our go-to pizza place! Proper Italian style pizzas, recommend the Diavola which is delicious, light crust and tasty toppings. If you like pizza this is your place.

There are few places with good service in Perth, that’s just how it is here with people being so laid back but being given cash register tape to write your order on while there were 3 servers available is a new low… very big discrepancy between the food and the service. Might have been a one-off so we will try once more but not keen to do it… very sad…

had Burrata pizza takeaway, menu price $30, was charged $30.85 - I guess extra for cardboard box! Logically it should be cheaper since I didn't get a table service.
Pizza was average with a few stingy transparent pieces of Prosciutto -very dissimilar to the ones on the photos.
They definitely wont get my local business again. The shop was previously a pasta restaurant - with such attitude I cant see this business last long either

A variety of different flavoured pizza, something for everyone! We had the truffle wagyu and you could actually taste the truffle. I am not sure what is happening with the truffles this season but I feel like some dishes are not even getting to see the truffle that apparently goes in. Anyway, the base was crispy with a little bit of a chew, I personally like it like this. The arancini had a super crunchy coating with a cheesy filling, really enjoyed those. The crocché, not the best I’ve had, lacked flavour. They were literally unseasoned mashed potatoes deep fried. All in all the food was great! It’s BYO and I recommend booking if you don’t want to wait. The staff are friendly and attentive. The only thing letting this place down like so many places these days is the toilet. They are absolutely disgusting! Not to mention the convoluted way of going through another restaurant to get to this places toilet. My suggestion would be to just wait till you get home.

Cannot scream loud enough about how terrific Maestro Sourdough Pizza is. I mean the food speaks for itself but the service and atmosphere just add so much more fabulousness to the experience! We go here often, WE LOVE!

Ordered 3 pizzas last night that cost $90. The topping was scarce and 4cm of the crust was burnt and absent of any topping. They were cold and the base was soft and soggy. Not ordering pizzas from there again. Lost our business!

Really poor customer service and seems like management treat the staff the same way. Ok pizza but do not support abusive management establishments.

THE BEST

We order this every time we are stopping over in Perth as the ingredients are so fresh and quality that we do not feel bloated or unwell the next day. It is the absolutely amazing. Light and fluffy bases are a dream!
Originally recommended to my by my Italian hairdresser and the quality tried and backed up by my Italian brother in law! Everything from here is 10/10

Authentic Italian pizza, anything on their menu is good! Always busy and waiting times can be long when ordering pasta, but that proves that they are worthy the wait.
BYO and small little sitting area. So I prefer takeout.

Went on a public holiday. We paid the surcharge, and the service was unfriendly. Not only this, there were no bathrooms. They said the bathrooms are in the restaurant next door and they were closed. My young daughter had to use the bathroom mid way through dinner, and we had nowhere to take her. Is this normal? Is it even legal for a restaurant to open without a bathroom?

On top of everything, my pizza was burnt (see photo). Won’t be back, and don’t recommend.

$72 for 2 very average medium pizzas and a child’s portion of gnocchi!
They don’t accept cash, which they didn’t tell us until we picked up and then charge you for using your card, they also add on a service charge (just a normal Wednesday and a pick up order)
Kid’s portions was a handful of gnocchi and a tomato base that tasted like it was a no frills brand from a supermarket, for $16 you expect a little more.
My 14 month old finished the lot and was still hungry, and this is supposed to be for kids under 12.
This is one place we will never go back to.

Premium prices for limited toppings and a base so thin you’d think it’s made out of rice paper. Definitely not worth it for the novelty of eating “sourdough pizza”
