Madura Pass Oasis Motel reviews
60I am sorry to be frank but the facility where not good at all it was very third world very sad for a road house in Australia.
OK for an overnight or emergency stay. Staff polite but not friendly or helpful. Amenities are disgusting. The place needs heaps of TLC. Fuel expensive
Huge thank you to the staff at this motel, my kids were on their way back to Kalgoorlie from Adelaide when they hit a roo and did abit of damage to their 4x4, a passerby stopped and gave all 4 passengers a lift to motel, staff allowed them to wait there till help arrives which was 6hours away. Thank you so much Madura Pass Oasis Motel.

Stoped in caravan park overnight, average facilities, but good water & hot showers, only $25.00 a night, meals in restaurant excellent for where you are, reasonably priced, staff friendly & helpful.
Service was friendly, but a bit slow. We stayed for one night. The rooms werent anything fancy but did the job. Alot there vould be updated. Our kitchenette had random teabags and coffees shoved in a plastic container. The restaurant looked like it was decorated in the 70s and not touched since. It was aslo rather dark in there.
A bit dated inside, but its very remote, so understandable. The staff are very friendly. Don't drink any of the water there.
We always stop here on our road trips from SA to WA (either on the way over or on our way back).
The rooms while basic are clean and tidy (with fresh towels, some toiletries and a hot shower!) and the room we had has been renovated and looks great.
The family rooms are great too and they also accommodate pets if you are traveling with your furry friends!
There is also a petrol station next to hotel.
We were arriving late this time round and (although a key was accidentally forgotten to be left out) we were looked after by a lovely staff member who was cleaning the kitchen. She went above and beyond to ensure we were settled in our room.
The Madura Pass Oasis Hotel is a great place to eat, refuel, stop over and rest up before continuing on the road.
We only stopped for a bite to eat and some cold drinks. Cute little bar inside. Only two sandwiches left when we got there but they were nice enough. Not the kind of place I would overnight at but opinions differ. Go see for yourself if you pass through I suggest.
Be careful of a truck driver called Bruce as he often stops here. He is about 5'10" with a tanned right forearm. He has receding hair and wears classic rock band t-shirts (Floyd, Led Zep, ACDC, etc.). Might come up and say "Howz it goin? "
Fantastic service and great food. Our room was a little tired butbperfect after a hard day of driving.
Ok accommodation for it's location. Renovated bathroom and quite clean. Tasty and reasonably priced meals in the hotel.
Fabulous restaurant. Great food and large portions in a really nice dining room. Friendly staff. Rooms are also fine for a night or two.
Stayed in a budget cabin was ok, meal we had for dinner was fantastic reminded us of real old style like mum used to make cooking
Paid for a camping spot but there were no dedicated camping spots, the facilities and from food from the pub were good though.
Disappointing.
It’s old and a bit run down but clean and comfortable enough for a roadside stop. Just don’t forget to take ALL of your belonging, as there is a THEIF within the staff and you will NEVER get it back.
We called the manager within only a matter of a few hours after we left. We told them EXACTLY where we left it; and they said that the cleaner never found it nor was it handed in.
It was a wedding present with huge emotional value to us and we are so saddened that someone would be so selfish to steal what doesn’t belong to them. More importantly that the manager doesn’t pull up the staff on this matter.
It was a pleasant stay over one night. Billy was very friendly and helpful, thank you very much to him. Food and atmosphere of the restaurant were delicious.
We where lucky and was upgraded to one of there better rooms which I think 3 star, but fine for a short stay overnight. Evening meal was pretty good. We had to leave at 5.00 in the morning, so left a note with room key with my address, surprise surprise, in the mail we received our key deposit, very thoughtful of staff to spend the time to do so, will be using the motel again in the future.
Nice overnight stop with the basic essentials. Nice room and bathroom. Have been using this place every time we travel across the Nulla
Great little bar at fair price considering.bit run down but meals available, pool table and friendly. Good to rest up at.a bar helps.
May not be the fanciest motel but it’s very clean and comfy and the service and food was awesome. An unexpected gem on the Nullarbor.
