Madras Corner reviews
70Food quality has gone down. Got food poisoning from eating their dosas. The batter they used was old.
Been going to Madras Corner more than 10 times and never disappointed!
We love the dosas, podi idli, chai.
Food always delicious and made our day every time, staffs are lovely.
We definitely keep going back, thank you for all the hard work - you guys truly deserves more than five stars
Amazing food! The best it gets in all of Perth. Can't get any better! Especially when it is extraordinarily hard to get good South Indian food like this.
Delicious food with a great service.i would recommend to everyone the girls working over there are pretty nice. Jashan and simran thank you for the hospitality.
Great restaurant, we had to come and wait for opening time at 4: 50 because we’ve heard of how busy it can get.when it opened, we ordered the masala dosa.it had plenty of potatoes and a very nice kick to it.the vadas were very hot and crispy and it was huge! The coconut chutney was good, but the other condiment was even better (dont know what its called) the lentil soup was steaming hot and delicious with nice lentils inside.the tikka masala chicken was also delicious with a nice kick of spices.it was even better with rice.the paratha was soft but crispy on the edges, it was chewy, but also melts in your mouth.absolutely delicious with the tikka masala.the service was nice, they gave us A LOT of rice with little chives on top.looked very nice and the rice was cooked perfect.a bit hot and stuffy inside, but it could be because the masala dosa potato was starting to kick in the karaikudi chicken was okay, it was a tad bit salty, but with rice it was better! Definitely get rice if you are going to order tikka masala or the karaikudi chicken, they are salty.overall, amazing experience, my favourite dish was definitely masala dosa, the vadas were AMAZING! Definitely coming again, but maybe trying other curries
Very bad customer service
Spread the word they don’t serve tea in the evenings! When do they expect you to have tea?
No apologies
No empathy nothing!
Best South indian food I have tasted in Perth. Had some good looking north Indian dishes aswell
An hidden gem in Perth where they serve really delicious South Indian breakfast dishes and other Indian delicacies. The staff is amazing and service is really good.
Dined there last week on my visit to Perth and it unfortunately fell below my expectations. Had a few dosas, vada, idly, and chai. The ghee dosa was decent, but the mysore masala, which is supposed to have a spicy chutney inside that is made from garlic, red chilly, and coconut. However, this one had what felt like a chilly schezwan paste you get in the bottle. The vada was decent, but chutney lacked any tempering or flavor. There was no sambar given with the vada. Idly was a pass as well. Masala Chai was fine. Lot of scope for improvement if done right. Unfortunately everything tastes like north Indian version of south Indian food.
The service, one of the ladies sure needs some coaching in speaking with customers. It felt like she was doing us a favor by giving us food.
Been here several times, haven't been disappointed even once. I would like it if they add a "special of the day" and an idli vada combo but this is a wish list and I cannot fault anything what they already serve. Easily the best sambhar and chutney in town and that just makes your idli, vada and Dosa so much nicer to dip into ️
Had ordered food from Madras Corner for a small get together at my residence and my guest were extremely happy and enjoyed the meal. Amazing food and value for money I would say.
This restaurant is always closed. In every few days they close for so many days giving various reasons. Saturday Sunday they r closed at 2pm. People want to eat in the evening but they are closed️ Indian restaurants does not have any competition here that's y doing what they like.
After moving to Australia, it's the 1st time I have experience an Authentic South Indian food. Highly recommended to those who are fond of Soth Indian cuisine.
Oh My My.what a hidden gem.
The food, regardless of what you order is super delicious. The staff and the owner are super friendly and would go to lengths to help you, may it be making extra room for you on your table or to make the dishes specific to your tatstebuds.
All in all, a very good experience.
Favourite dishes were Dosas, Briyani (both lamb and chicken) pepper beef and amravati chicken.
Keep it up guys and thank you for a wonderful meal.
A small intimate restaurant. The food here is excellent and consistently high quality! Cheese dosa and onion masala dosa is one of my favourites. Amazing quality and quantity for the price we pay!
Onion dosa means uncooked onion sprinkled on plain dosa and cheese chilli dosa means small amount of sheredded cheese with 2 small pieces of chilli. This is what I learnt today from this restaurant. Worst experience ever. Love trying new restaurant.
Please change the photo of onion dosa on your website. Upload the exact picture of dosa you serve.
The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and always accommodating. The owner makes the experience nice and personal. We have tried a variety of dishes and they are always delicious and consistent. The Dosa and sambhar is one of the best in Perth. Highly recommend this place.
Absolutely delicious. Driven past many times and it has always been busy.
Glad we finally got to eat here.
Best south indian food in Perth! Fresh, delicious and the Tiffin option is great!
Thank you for an amazing food experience.
No sambhar with Mendu Vada plate and when ordered extra, we were charged $3 for one sambhar. If we are paying more than $10 for a plate of Mendu Vada we can expect at least one small bowl.
