The word I would use for my experience with Lux is perfection. From the first consultation, I immediately clicked with the designer, she got what I was saying and nailed the brief with the follow up drawings. Throughout the renovation period, all staff were quick to respond to my calls, texts and emails. Nothing was too hard for them, their attention to detail was superb, ensuring all trades delivered their best work. The whole process was stress free for me, as Lux had my full trust due to their work ethic, professionalism, and outstanding workmanship. I would definitely use them for any project in the future.

Absolutely brilliant experience for us with our extensive bathroom and laundry renovations. Andrew and Kerrie were fantastic to deal with from the very start, despite a few curveballs sent their way by our indecisiveness. We had a few basic ideas but needed help bringing it all together. The design process is so thorough, with every little detail discussed and planned out. Having a designer actually obtain samples for viewing and providing different ideas was fantastic. Kerrie also clearly picked up on our style ideas and always worked within those requirements. Lux also worked with our very limited window of opportunity to build and got everything done as scheduled. Andrew provides access to the scheduling calendar so that you can see exactly what stage the build is at throughout. And the end product was nothing short of spectacular - clearly all trades involved with Lux are at the top of their game as the end results were flawless.

We engaged Lux Interiors to renovate our large en-suite bathroom. This company is extremely professional in every aspect. Their communication, Scheduling and the trades they employ. Renovation can be messy but honestly they prepared and cleaned up every day. The finished product was much better than I imagined. Their designer was a joy to work with and I can not recommend them highly enough.

I approached Lux Interiors to design our kitchen for renovation. To say we are beyond happy with the design is an understatement! They were able to use the inspiration images I provided to create the perfect space as well as adding new ideas to it. Initially I thought the design charges were expensive but in hindsight it was totally worth the money to get the high end amazing kitchen I wanted. I will use Lux Interiors to re-design our bathrooms when we renovate them in the future.

SUMMARY: No hesitation recommending Lux. We had 2 bathrooms, a laundry and 3 toilets renovated. The design process was creative and professional. All Lux people were competent and friendly and their tradesmen took pride in their work, were punctual, detail oriented, customer focussed and always cleaned up. We are delighted with the results.

Design – It was explained that we would pay by the hour for the design up front and then own the detailed design on completion (so could have taken it elsewhere if required). We thought this was good value as we could see (both on screen and on paper) what we would get prior to signing the contract. Through the design work, Kerry explained all the steps, listened and incorporated our requirements in her design, made thoughtful and appropriate suggestions re selection of materials, suppliers and hardware.

Approach – Lux take project management seriously and hence the renovation ran well. Both the Lux Company principals (Kyle and Andrew) were on the job on the first day; when the water proofing was done and also when the job was completed. The Project Manager Andrew, of course was also on site frequently, for all important stages. Their longer than normal warranty period is based on doing quality work first time and sensible supervision. At Practical Completion the principals noticed every small incomplete or unsatisfactory item (some that we had not noticed) and put them on the ToDo list which was then scheduled and executed without delay.

Buildertrend – This is a project management app - that is run by the Project Manager and is accessible by the client - it enables the project to run smoothly – it provides a means to manage (access and electronically sign) all the paperwork i.e. Proposals, contact, variations, photos etc. Included is a real time (on phone, tablet or PC) project Gannt chart, with realistic task durations, for the construction period that we found very useful. Needless to say the renovation finished on time - including three small changes not in the original plan and we were able to see at all stages what was happening.

Admin – Routine phone calls and emails were acted on promptly, the 3 progress claim and practical completion invoices and receipts were all issued without error and in a timely manner.

Results – We are very happy with the results and found Lux a good company to work with. No hesitation in recommending them.

The Lux Team completed a bathroom & laundry renovation for us late last year. From start to finish, the work was done at a very high standard and the end result was fantastic. Lux renovated our main bathroom in our federation house in East Fremantle. The design phase with Kerrie was fantastic and she was always willing to come up with alternative suggestions and she was very knowledgable about the fixtures and fittings and materials that would be suitable for the project. She kept the bathroom sympathetic with the era of our home and yet was able to give it a modern touch. The trades people were very polite, on time and their workmanship was excellent, with amazing attention to detail. I would highly recommend Lux for any interior renovation project, although not the cheapest company around, they definitely deliver on quality, professionalism and they finished out project with some structural changes in 4 weeks. Andrew and his team are very impressive and we shall be calling on their services again to renovate our kitchen!:)

Lux Interiors - Recommendation
In February 2020 we had identified a couple of apartments in South Perth for purchase, both needing some upgrade work. Faced with a choice we contacted Kerrie Richardson of Lux Interiors and asked would they like to be part of the decision-making equation. With guidance from Kerrie and Kyle we were able to make the right purchase decision. Subsequently we commissioned Lux Interiors to turn a bedroom into a Study and to make a storeroom fit for purpose and readily accessible.
The results were exceptional; Kerrie’s design process was quite inclusive and Kyle’s attention to detail remarkable. They made easy the decisions on two pack colour, bench top timber, bevelled edges and draw and door handles. With the storeroom door I noted that Kyle insisted on the sub-contractor returning for a second visit to make the fit just right. The job was planned to a high level of detail and each activity completed to schedule. Fit out from floor to ceiling, floor covering to carpet reinstall was done to a precise level of detail.
Overall, the job from our engagement as clients, to design, construction and fit out was an exceptional and memorable experience. It was a good day when we made a contact with Lux Interiors and our outcome is a testament to their skill and attention to detail. Very happy to recommend the team to other prospective clients.

Highly recommend Luxe Interiors. Our brief was for an updated and quality combined bathroom/laundry renovation within a very short time frame over a busy period. Luxe managed to complete the high end renovation within the desired time frame. A couple of minor details that required attention after the completion that were promptly followed up and rectified. From the very first meeting with Kyle, we were confident he knew exactly what we required and put our minds at ease that the plumbing problems others had predicted, could easily be solved.

Our next contact with Lux Interiors was with Kerrie, Lux's Interior Designer and again, we were impressed with the professionalism and desire to provide us with a quality renovation. Kerrie listened to us and set about to source items and fittings we requested, eventually providing us with an amazing 3D image of the "finished" rooms. We were provided with the Buildertrend App which kept us informed of the schedule of works, the tradespeople attending and any other relevant information.

Andrew our Site Foreman, kept us informed every step of the way and was readily accessible should we have any queries. Our floors were well protected and at the end of each day's work, the workspace was cleared and cleaned. Each tradesperson was professional, polite and willing to discuss his work. Any minor problem was quickly remedied.

We were promised "Go to Wow" in four weeks and Lux Interiors delivered!
