Terrible. All the negative reviews are right. The owner bloke will try an add things into your order (red emperor in my case) then argue with you about what was ordered and how many. Absolutely shocking what this guy tried to do. Please do not support this business. Melville fish and chips is wayyy better but unfortunately are closed on a Monday.

Ordered from here n the amount of chips seriously lacking for a 16$ fish n chips you get more in a hjs meal

Delicious food. Perfect batter on fresh fish. Chips done to perfection. Spotlessly Clean shop. Amazing, friendly service. I picked this fish n chip shop for the convenient location on our way to have an evening picnic at Fremantle. Very impressed. Will definitely be back. Ok

Bad choice. And we order by phone? They can cheat!
We ordered 2 sharks, 2 snappers, 2 whitings and a serving of potato scallops and squid rings, 4 pineapple rings.
We picked it up and didn’t open and check it. Came home and found out that only 4 pieces of fish, so we called immediately and asked if there’s a mistake. The guy on the phone said he did it himself so cannot be wrong and called me a liar. Seriously? A huge order and we called to lie about 2 pieces of fish? Poorest service ever!
And if the order is packed correctly, which I am not convinced, the fish are invisibly small

Paid for 2 x shark, 2x snapper 1x whiting chips 4x pineapple, dim sim & potato scallops Got home ONLY 1 snapper. Rang to let him know but was just told I am a liar as he did put 2 snapper in & that is that. Well the 1 snapper was thick and tough as leather. Don't bother going here unless you check your order first. Very unprofessional service the meal was ok except for the snapper. The rsting was because he was abusive and basically was NOT interested in what we said.

So Disappointing. Chips tasted sour and like dirty oil as well as food burnt. Food which i didn’t order was in my order. Smallest serve of fish ever. I recommend going elsewhere.

I just had one of the most confusing a rudest encounters at any place I’ve ever eaten. My fiancé and I walked in to buy some chips tonight, my fiancé cheerfully says hi to the man behind the counter and before we could say anything else he calls us idiots and tells us to get out. We thought he was making a joke at first but after 30 seconds of him telling us to get out, saying “we don’t serve you kind of people”we realised he was serious and left confused and incredibly disappointed. This place has been my local and favourite fish and chip spot my entire life as I used to live in the area. I’m not sure if it’s under new management or something but I definitely won’t be going back and will be telling others to avoid it.

Fish batter was oily and moist rather than crispy as it should be, so fell apart when you pick it up. It also did not taste fresh at all. Its unforgivable to fail at fish and chips. Recommend you go elsewhere.

Very good fish and chips here. Friendly and easy to deal with staff is also good. I like the food here and come here regularly.

Thought we were getting squid and other things for dinner tonight. What a joke. Absolutely disgusting. Will never go back or recommend this place. The dogs didn't even eat it.

Pretty good, battered oysters is a big plus! Please learn to spike your paper takeaway to let the steam out or fish and chips are soft and soggy by time you get home. No crunch: (. Cheers!

Best fish and chips. Chips taste fresh and are crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Fish is perfectly cooked. Great portion size too.

Went in to order some fish and chips over the counter with a few friends. Was advised there was no fish left, then straight away started to yell GO AWAY and was clapping at our faces. Have no idea, why, no explanation given when we asked what was going on? We left and ordered over the phone and the order was taken. So obviously had fish left to serve, not sure why we were treated the way we were. Only wanted to buy some food. Never experienced something like this, terrible service and treatment of customers. Better food and service at KFC

Great value for money. Portions are great, fish is great. Get the snapper chips are fab - crispy on some, soft/soggy on some- the perfect balance

Hadn't been since pre-covid and should have read the reviews here about the change of ownership before returning. Lures used to serve some of the best battered snapper around, now it is very average indeed. Second star was for the chips, which are still pretty good, but I won't be going out of my way to return

The staff are always welcoming, polite and the service is excellent. I am always greeted with a smile and the fish & chips are cooked to perfection.

This once great fish and chip shop went through a change of ownership and sadly it has been ruined. Don’t waste your money go elsewhere.

Not normally one to complain or review but received my order and Chips were missing. Rang store, tried about 20 times, no answer. Ended up driving to store, explained my chips were missing from the order, store said sorry nothing we can do. We're talking about $3 chips which I've paid for and haven't received. You have to be joking, how is that good customer service? Have purchased from this store numerous times but after this, won't be going there again. Obviously have changed hands and now very poor service. Rest of dinner was very average at best!

By far one of the worse fish and chips i had. The fish was brown, because i think it was refry and the chips is soggy and oily
