We stayed at Lucieville Farm Chalets for 2 days and we absolutely loved it. The owners, Claire & Chad were so friendly and helpful. They went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our son loved the animal feeding time and he really enjoyed his first horse riding experience. The chalets were clean & tidy with air conditioning downstairs & upstairs. We used the wood fire heater as it was abit cold the second night. The view from the chalet was superb with a full country landscape experience. I highly recommend Lucieville Farm Chalets if you are after a relaxing farming life experience. We will be going back soon as our son loved his experience there.

We stayed at this lovely place for a few days, it was absolutely amazing and stunning scenery. Our son enjoyed feeding the animals in the mornings and staff were super kind and respectful. Definitely recommend to people who have kids and love feeding farm animals. Claire and a Chad were very professional and assisted all our needs.

An amazing farm stay run by a wonderful family. You will not be disappointed with your stay at Lucieville. Also open for animal feeding every morning so even if you're not staying in the accommodation it is definitely worth visiting. The kids will love it.

Absolutely wonderful stay, loved it so much. The owners and staff put their all into giving the guests, especially the kids an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Chad for lighting our fire each day and for the animal feeding and damper in the forest. Grace was an absolute joy as my guide for the horse ride, professional, capable but also funny and full of fantastic stories about these animals she clearly adores. We will be back again and again to this beautiful, magical place

We stayed at Hartelle Cottage (operated by the owners of Lucieville, and only 1km across the road). The house was tidy, functional & clean. The beds were very comfortable & had all the amenities we needed for our small family. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful location.

We attended the animal feeding at the farm every morning we were there & we absolutely loved it. Grace was so accommodating & patient with our toddler, and showed him how to feed all the friendly animals. He had a ball & still won’t stop talking about it.

We’ve already recommended Lucieville to friends, and we’ll absolutely be back again. Thank you so much Chad, Claire & Grace!

The cottage we stayed in was well set up if you're with a lot of children. 2 Rooms with 2 double bunks each (8 beds) and 2 Rooms with queen beds. 3 Toilets a bathroom and two showers. It's very convenient when you have 9 kids.
9am feeding every morning, including kangaroo, sheep, pony, chickens and roosters and turkeys, Guinea pigs, rabbits, pig, emus, goats, and milking the cow.
Large dam with plenty of canoes to paddle around or go for a swim.
You can also book horse riding.

We did not stay at lucieville but booked the horse riding.
It was a fantastic experience and we had timed it perfectly for the beautiful wildflowers. The horses where calm and gentle.
Claire and Chad were fantastic hosts, and allowed my kids to play with many of the animals while we wait.
We can’t wait to be back again and this time we will stay!

Amazing The owners are the lovliest people. The view is just wow. The sky at night you've never seen anything like it.
It's a short drive to town. Got kitchen (with fridge freezer, oven srove microwave plates etc), shower, toilet, and washing machine super comfortable beds. Perfect for kids. Definitely going again.

Perfect little slice of heaven for the family to come rest and play. Feeding the animals every morning was a hit with the kids and the town's are close by for lunch or dinner of you feel like it.

Lovely property but didnt stay. Only went for the trail ride. Lots of farm animals to pat and see.
Not very organised and was told "don't let the kids near the horses they might kick or bite! Not what you want when you are sending your kids off on a ride. I also thought they would have had a side gate as half of the hours ride was saddling up and riding the boundary to get to the forest. The people weren't very friendly either. Would I recommend it.probably up to you. Would I go again.no. Not much for your $100. (For 2 rides)

I enjoyed two fantastic trail rides this weekend. This is by far the best place to go for a trail ride: beautiful horses, wonderful forest tracks with lots of wildflowers and the nicest staff you could ask for. I will certainly be back. Thank you Claire and Emily for two amazing rides.

Absolutely fantastic! What an absolute find this place, its a total farm experience and you dont have to stay there to get it. We booked a horse ride and were invited to come earlier to help round up the horses and then get them ready for the ride. Claire was absolutely lovely and so were her guides who turned out to be her neices, equally lovely. This is a special place in Bridgetown you must visit, the hospitality was beautiful!

This stunning and unique farm stay was recommended by RAC, so I had a look and emailed them to ask for availability. We got lucky to get a booking for March 2022 Long Weekend. We absolutely loved everything in the place: the unique and cozy A-style chalets, great variety of farm animals, the stunning wide lake in front of chalets, the kind farm owners etc. My boys enjoyed the daily animal feedings, back of the truck rides to go around farm and see the beautiful horses they have at the farm, canoeing and kayaking on the lake for hours, and meeting other kids on holidays and playing at the farm playground till dark. We highly recommend for everyone! We’ll go back again!

Absolutely fantastic! Took the family for a few days and they had a blast. The family that run the farm are great. They are friendly, welcoming and encourage you to get involved with activities around the farm. Definately will be back there.

We brought our children here when they were young about 30 years ago a few times, long before the internet! The world has changed greatly since then, but Lucieville Chalets hasn't changed at all. Still the same half a dozen A frame chalets surrounding a lake.where you can swim or paddle a boat. Lots of birds and black swans (who like to drink water if you put a bowl out). Can feed the animals in the morning, and they sell some home made preserves too! Thanks, Clare, for a most enjoyable stay!

Beautiful place and amazing folks Chad and Claire are. For a few days of peace and quiet this is the place to be. Kids have a lot of activities as well.
